That version of Zeromus is just a sick blob with random tissues and appendages jutting out. Apart from the arms and the… eyes? It’s not really possible to discern what *any* of that mess is. If I had to guess though, I’d wager it’s the exposed base of what used to be Zemus’ spinal column; now serving as a sort of tentacle/tail. There’s little point in trying to analyze what’s essentially a giant cosmic tumor, though.

More disturbing I think is how Zeromus EG and Neo Exdeath seem to have complete human female torsos as part of their anatomy. o.O

I beat the shit out of Zeromous the first time I played FFIV, I think I was around level 55 or so for the whole party.
