Got a chance to grab the UT3 soundtrack today from a torrent site and since no one else has uploaded it yet, I thought I’d share it with everyone.

Artist : Rom Di Prisco and Jesper Kyd
Album : Unreal Tournament 3

Producer: Sumthing Else
Tracks : CD1: 18, CD2: 15
Playtime: CD1: 75:38, CD2: 74:54

Encoder : LAME 3.97 final -V2 –vbr-new

The album was ripped by [GTL] by the way, I didn’t encode this myself. Furthermore, my upload speed is kinda slow and this took me about 3-4hrs to transfer, so if anyone has problems with this hosting service, please don’t ask me to reupload it somewhere else for you; hopefully somebody else with a faster con here will be able to oblige. Anyways, enjoy.

Not as epic as UT2004 music was, to technoish for me to have epic gunfight fragfest to. But the remixes are great. Is it me or do you rarely hear the music in the game? I’m basing this off of the demo but it only seemed to pop up at certain times

Too bad that mp3’s are marked as Kyd and Di Prisco together cause I am almost certain they have been composing separatly…

Ahh thats true.. But let’s just say all those remixes + menu themes are from Kevin Riepl 😀 Cause he are one outstanding composer. The rest are.. Meh okay… Too much Techno i have to agree.. Where did all the UT2k4 theme go? Like techno combine with Orchestra = True Kevin Power. :p

rom did great job with Need for speed 2,3 and 4. Too bad I don’t have his other work such as fullauto (except rune)…

kyd is good but not great, but I haven’t listened to cd2 yet… ^^

for me the best is bill brown and riepl himself. He did awesome job with previous ut’s but too bad he only composed ut gc trailer theme 🙁

There is a problem with the last song from the second cd, "World of Liandri" (in the archive) – Winrar says that the CRC fails – it is broken…. could you reupload that file alone? thanks!

later edit: Ok, I managed to fix the second archive and extract the last file (World of Liandri) with this rar fixer: Advanced RAR Repair (http://rapidshare.com/files/72967973/ARAR-setup.exe.html) I hope this helps! A big thank you to the soundtrack uploader anyway!

The music’s dynamic, so you may only hear it when something crazy is happening, but when nothings going on, its real quiet…Pretty odd to me, whole game is fast paced. Why not just run it on max all the time? Adds to the energy personally.

Wonder why the best cuz imo lots of powerful remix is getting for
free but than it’s not a part of the commercial soundtrack.

Actually i was able to downlaod em thru a torrent just yesterday, i think the one i used is from isohunt or sumthin… but i downloaded the torrent a while ago so i cant remember exactly where i got it…

Such a great soundtrack. I love this kind of music. The remixes are so good but the original versions are also very nice.
