Your total time of Final Fantasy XII

I complete the game with 214:14 and finished to play in January 2007.

I really try to get every weapon and armor of this game, but I give up. It is hard to play with that respawn chests and make monsters leave itens.

But I do all the side quests, hunts, rare monster. This is the game of FF that I spent most times in my life.

IIRC, i think I spent maybe 255 hours on my "complete" game.

I think it was around 120 hours for my best file, maybe around 150 total before I went off of it and haven’t gone back since…

Around 170 for my best one – all the hunts(even the special ones) and sidequests cleared! 😀

275 hours including 117 hours of the Negalmuur autolevelling method(3 hours of work put in to that, left it running for 114 hours, 6 people from level 60-61 with Embroiddered Tippets equipped and Negalmuur with the Haste status).

I skipped some less important sidequests at the end of the game so I could beat it in time for FF XII: RW. The sidequests I skipped saved me about 25 hours of time. Also, if I did a standard leveling method the time would be 75 hours less but I would have to put in 100% of the time.

By the way I’m like 17 hours into FF XII: RW it’s great! There are some issues with the controls and the battle system but they aren’t huge for me. Everything else in the game is perfect or nearly perfect. I’m happy! 🙂

Somewhere around 120 hours for my first playthrough, but I only did a minority of sidquests and about a third of the total hunts. My current one is just over 110, and I’m doing a few sidequests before taking on the Pharos. So I’d be surprised if it didn’t accumulate over 200 hours when I eventually finish everything I want to do on it.

213, I think. I need to clean up a few maps and hunts. It is very doubtful I will do that, though. I just don’t feel like going back.

holy shit.., is XII really that long? Im only like 17 hours into it and I thought i was an eigth of the way done….damn this is gonna take a while

130 hours or so. I just stopped after not being able to beat anymore sidequests or hunts unless I leveled up.

Can’t even remember. Not much more than 100 hours, I think. Didn’t really get into many of the side quests before I got bored with it. Shame, though, it really is a good game.

On my first play through, it took me 160 hours to get to the end of it. But I didn’t do every sidequests. My second play through took me 193 hours, and I completed almost every sidequests. But I didn’t get every pieces of equipment.

This game can take easily over 200 hours to beat if you want to get everything without the use of a guide. Otherwise, you can possibly complete it in around 100-120 hours.

Man, I’m in the Feywood and I have about 83 hours. Am I close to finishing the game already?

No. You still have at least 15-20 hours to go, depending on how long it takes you to complete the next two dungeons.

I started the hunts after I had finished the game so most of the early ones went down in 5 seconds.

Man, I’m at 180+ hours and I haven’t finished the hunts and none of my characters have hit lvl. 60. I still have those side quests to do and Esper hunting. Zeromus seems to hate me. :<

I know what you mean. All I did was target line the early hunts and they died.

150+hrs and so. ive completed all of the espers. im on my way to slaining yziamat. im almost at level 99 for vaan. 2 more levels to go. the others are at levels 84 and 85.

12 hrs right now; i’ve just passed the sandsea and reach the Kings tomb.

108 hours for the actual story line… now I’m working on freelancing and the sidequests…

I was quite impressed with my 140+ hours but it seems i have a lot more to go back and finish

Got the game in October of 2006 (release day–Halloween?) and currently have between 190 & 215 hours right now (I’m unsure because of how many save files I have). And I STILL haven’t completed the game yet. I just got Reddas in the party, needing to go to the Henne Mines for the Zodiac Spear & Zodiarc

Be careful of Zodiark — try instant-death resistant items if you can and watch out for his powerful attack that can instantly kill up to all three of your active characters.

First game: 57 hours (beat the game, by no means complete).
Second game: 8 hours so far, I’m in Bhujerba.

57 hours is a great time for playing through the game without specifically aiming to zip through it as fast as possible.

Thanks! It’s probably partly due to only playing with three characters from about Ogir-Yensa on.

Edit: Oh, I should note, that’s my final SAVE time. It took me a few hours from there to beat the game. So maybe 59 or 60 total.

That is my time rushing COMPLETELY. I traded the game in prematurely, though, because I was fascinated with the idea of Pokemon Pearl, and needed the money for it.
