Yu-Gi-Oh! Online (Duel Evolution) game rip (megaupload)

I’ve been looking for this for a while, but nobody seems to have taken the time to rip the game’s music…so I just decided to do it myself.

The rar file contains 17 tracks:

1. Chorus of Sanctuary (2:25) – From the field card ‘Chorus of Sanctuary’
2. Deck Edit (2:14) – Played when editing your deck
3. Domino City (2:02) – Played while in any of the Domino City lobbies
4. Duel Academy (1:46) – Played while in any of the Duel Academy lobbies
5. Duel (1:47) – Duel music when neither player is winning
6. Field Spell (1:43) – Played when a newer field card (without its own music) is active
7. Gaia Power (1:45) – From the field card ‘Gaia Power’
8. Login screen (1:04) – Login screen music
9. Losing (1:51) – Duel music when you have at least 3000 LP less than your opponent
10. Luminous Spark (1:35) – From the field card ‘Luminous Spark’
11. Molten Destruction (3:32) – From the field card ‘Molten Destruction’
12. Mystic Plasma Zone (2:06) – From the field card ‘Mystic Plasma Zone’
13. Rising Air Current (2:20) – From the field card ‘Rising Air Current’
14. Rock, Paper, Scissors (1:27) – Played when deciding who plays first
15. Title screen (2:12) – Title screen music
16. You lose (0:03) – That music I hear after every duel
17. Your Room (1:58) – Played when in your room

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to rip all music. Missing tracks include:
-Winning music
-You win jingle
-Fusion Gate music
-Umiiruka music

Some other tracks may also be missing without me noticing, such as other field cards (yami/sogen/umi, perhaps?) or event-specific music. But at least it’s something 🙂

Not sure if current Yu-Gi-Oh Online still uses this music, as I haven’t played in ages and it’s radically changed before (with many music tracks simply removed from the game entirely).

This thread reminded me of Yu-Gi-Oh! Online’s original music, so I picked up one of my Yu-Gi-Oh! Online CD-ROMs and installed it to see if I could rip the music. And as it turns out, ripping the music is only a matter of using ExtractData on the music file.

I only named the ones I’m sure of, as there’s no way to confirm what the others are/were anymore. Uncompressed WAV.

Back in 2007 I was an idiot and manually recorded all of the tracks (hence a bunch of tracks missing), but if ExtractData works on the first version of YGO Online, it might also work on Duel Evolution and whatever that fancy version is they made afterwards. I don’t have it installed anymore, though (it was YEARS ago)…if I could get my hand on the file storing the music data of a newer client I might be able to fully extract all of the music.
