Kakuto Chojin was a fighting game made for the X-Box, by the same company who made Tobal no.1, and 2 for the Sony Playstation, as well as a number of games for PS2 such as
The Bouncer, Tough: Dark Fight and Kakutou Bijin Wulong.

Since Microsoft wants nothing to do with this game now, there will never be a original soundtrack for it, so I figured might as well find somebody to rip it, and bring it to the community, and fans of the game, and music.

This game is now a rare game, and should be bought if you can find it, as it will be a collectors item.

Full soundtrack ripped by Erick Damon, a member of the GameFAQs and YouTube community, and a friend of mines. ID Tags, re-encoding by Helgen X, song names are named personally by me, so if you so happen to know the actual names of the songs.

I was gonna suggest the same. The link died the day after it was uploaded-_-

Did anyone manage to get the soundtrack before the link died? Would be nice if someone reuploaded it, seeing as the link died the next day.

I’m thinking this link was fake from the start now. I refuse to believe that megaupload allows tons and tons of soundtracks from games and movies, including rare and obscure ones, yet mysteriously this one gets magically deleted the very day after it’s been posted, and not a single person who supposedly dled it even attempts to reupload it. I’m calling bullshit on this link. Unless swarms of muslims hacked megaupload to get rid of the soundtrack due to one of the supposed "offensive" muslim lyrics in one of the char’s songs, I say this link was fake from the start.

Before you start talking shit Xionos, the reason I didn’t have time to re-upload it is because I actually have a real life with real bills, real work and real leisure time outside of the video game and soundtrack community to be spent on. I try my best to have shit in order whenever I can, so don’t fret, I know it took long to re-upload, but I am quite busy these days. I’m saving my money to go back to Japan so I’m trying to stray away from the net from time after time, other wise I’d be just like you: All day trying to search for a certain OST and complaining about it 😛

I am uploading it as I type this, so come back in about 20 minutes to this topic, or I’ll just re-bump it.

Also, if anyone has a faster connection than mines (mines only uploads at 84kbps,) would you be kind as to make backup links, or tell me of a site that does mp3 leeching from site to site, that way I can make sure it won’t get deleted, and have people up my ass in PM’s? Thanks.

Edit: I know why it was deleted, it was deleted because, me, like an idiot, put the actual name of the OST on the file name. If rapidshare deletes it, then I will gladly take the time to reupload it, although I will change the file name and maybe password protect it. (Anything I upload will have the password helgenx.)

I still see nothing offense except the Allah Akba part it that’s how you spell it and even that isn’t the slightest bit offensive.

Sorry about my outburst, I normally would never get emotional over a soundtrack, I was just real upset, as I looked for it for so long, and somehow would always come up short. I apologize for how I acted, and I would like to thank you very much for reuploading the soundtrack, I and I am sure others appreciate this a lot.

I don’t find it offensive either, but muslims tend to really get upset over it. I know one time when i tried to find the soundtrack on google I ended up with some link to some forum with some muslim guy getting mad and demanding Microsoft employees take a "muslim sensivity course".

Well the thing is, that I do not hae an X-Box, meanwhile, I do have everything to do full quality rips of games from the direct audio source, as I’ve never been a fan of ripping from the game due to encoding issues and so on.

I am, however going to look into obtaining a copy of the game right now (torrent/rapidshare,) if anything new pops up, I’ll definitely post up here.

As of now, I’m downloading the game, and I will find a way to rip it from the direct ISO, if not, I will borrow a friends X-Box to do it through direct audio source for a better rip.

Ok, update, and the only reason I’m really stressing the game is because the music IMO is fucking godlike for this game, since DreamFactory made it, I already know all their other games got good music.

But yeah, so now I have the game, I ripped all the data from the ISO, but the audio files are in a format called STX, which is a format used with a tracker that I’m not sure lets you playback it’s files after they’ve been assembled, and the format isn’t encoded or anything, it’s like synth, drum, SFX files all joined together (like a MOD file.)

Aside from that, I AM able to get about a minute or two of each characters songs in high quality due to me being able to get the ending videos off the disc, which I might work on soon.

Just the direct audio rip from audio wires. The songs were pretty low quality if I remember, and I named all the songs my own names and there was an .nfo file descripting how it was ripped and everything. Thanks a lot!
