Super Smash Bros. Brawl Soundtrack – Tracklist
——————————————
As my friend Skunk said it, I’ll upload the music here.
The songs have been tagged by me and the titles may not be exactly the same that in the first post.
Okay, so, here we go ! Enjoy !
IT’S NOT POSSIBLE TO UPLOAD THE WHOLE THING IN ONE LINK, SO DON’T REQUEST FOR A ONE-LINK SOUNDTRACK OR BEHOLD SKUNK’S RAGE !!
THE SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL FOLDER : http://www.filefactory.com/f/477cec178988b845/
Note : The packs are uploaded as .rar files and you need the free program "Winrar" to unarchive the files.
Note : The files aren’t down, it’s just the server that haven’t a slot for you. So, please wait and try later.
——————————————————————————————
False claims such as this are a big deal. Expect a call from our lawyers.
Also, I called it "Official" because it features all things from all threads which were made before, including music, sfx and tracklist.
when I downloaded it, it just said it wouldn’t work.
Well… I’m uploading EVERYTHING and I need some time. Also, I have to work so I can’t upload when I want. Wait a little and it’ll be okay ๐
how do you get a .rar file to work.
when I downloaded it, it just said it wouldn’t work.
Search the program "Winrar" on Google, it’ll help you.
aye, ๐ glad ya like it XD
Soon I will be adding the rest of the Brawl soundtrack in the same quality as this release, each song given an appropriate and unique screenshot from the official website.

I know you probably used the Super Mario RPG-music from Mushroom Forest, but you should know that this track is pretty unlikely to would have been included. Or it was and Square said no.
For M&L – I vote for Thwomp Volcano. Has the best music after Gritzy Desert and fits to Brawl, as well as is pretty catchy.
For SF: Command I would need to listen to the music again… give me some time when I’m at home again.
Are these from the disc? If so, could you post the rest of them please?
Many thanks…
Edit: Bowser’s Victory sounds a bit dramatic seeming as it’s his theme from SMG.
Also, why loop from the Japanesse version to the English version of the Wario Ware Songs?
It’s stupid, keep them seperate!
Another thing I forgot to mention, someone has got to get tabs on updating the playlist with the correct track names when the US version of Brawl comes out.
Seeming as us europeans will have to wait…
No, they aren’t… Read carefully. ๐ก
And yeah, it sucks for Europe. ;-;
@Traumend: No, there is no complete SFX/Voice collection available, as I’m not done with renaming the files and pulling out the corrupted/empty/double ones.
Also, downloading the EditorArtist’s pack…
Because the "Super Metroid Theme" is from "Relics of the Chozos" (OCReMix by Vigilante) and the "Bowser’s Victory" may just be the "Battle for the Grand Star" intro that just have been cut…
But anyway, thanks ! Because some themes are great ‘"Ending" is so cool for Brawl!)
-the no specific title unknowns: Star Fox Command, Mario & Luigi don’t have specific song titles attached in the file structure, tell me if there’s a song you like better than what I picked from each respective game
-the missing Subspace Emissary music: Y18-Y30 – I took this freedom to choose one song from each series that I felt needed to be in Brawl but isn’t. Tell me if any of my choices are meh.
Here again his explanations…
BEHOLD ENGLISH VOICES!
Also, on second thought, when you get get a hold of the voices of the US Brawl disc, Skunk, I don’t think many people are going to want rips.
I like the selection, though I don’t really approve Super Mario RPG-music (Seven Stars and Superstar Saga). =P
Also, for Starfox Command I would use one of those:
"The Skillful Flight of Falco"
"The Loner, Falco Lombardi"
"Panther Caruso, The Lady’s Man"
Those are way better. ๐
Due to Sakurai mentioning in an interview that there were some other Nintendo characters he wanted to include that he couldn’t because of rights issues, I’m willing to bet that SMRPG material was planned for inclusion but cut. "Mori no kinoko" is most known for the Japanese title of the SMRPG song.
Also, for Starfox Command I would use one of those:
"The Skillful Flight of Falco"
"The Loner, Falco Lombardi"
"Panther Caruso, The Lady’s Man"
I really think the MIDI quality on Star Fox Command is way too obtrusive, and "Great Leader, Fox McCloud" seemed to be the least distracting. But I’ll go ahead and replace G06 with "The Loner, Falco Lombardi" for the sake of Falco fans and the fact that it was probably more likely to be the song the developers had in mind for that reason.
For M&L – I vote for Thwomp Volcano. Has the best music after Gritzy Desert and fits to Brawl, as well as is pretty catchy.
It is catchy, thanks for the recommendation! I really wanted to include a song from the first Mario & Luigi for completeness sake. But I’ll go ahead and replace "A11 Vs Cackletta’s True Form" with Thwomp Volcano if nobody has any objections or other recommendations.
For the Command songs – you asked, I answered. ;P Also I thought the same while calling those two Falco-songs.
As going to SMRPG – I just don’t like the game (although this one particular song is good… one of the little amount in that soundtrack) and especially I dislike Geno who is actually a Square creation… And not Nintendo-property (and thus no Nintendo character). ๐
Editing the tracks together, messing with the volume, and adding in your own tweaks is wholly unnecessary. The game rip is fine as is, period.
If you want to add in a bunch of remixes and pretend they are the "missing tracks" or throw in a bunch of music from other games because you think they deserve to be in Brawl, go throw together your own playlist and listen to it. Cluttering up this thread with your little project isn’t doing anyone any good.
Like you, I’m more of a Nintendo fanboy than a Square fanboy, but you my friend have just committed sacrilege in the Final Fantasy Shrine! ๐
No offense EditorArtist, but I think what you are doing is just going to cause a great deal of confusion. Adding in tracks that aren’t actually in the game and throwing them together in this "pack" just because you feel they should be in game doesn’t make any sense.
I’m going to do all that I can to avoid confusion. I’m going to release the cut songs in a separate pack with a readme explaining everything. In this pack I’m going to have the missing songs that at least had specific enough label to know what they are in one folder and another folder with the "placeholders" for the missing Subspace Emissary music. So people would have the option of deleting the complete unknowns if they don’t want them.
If you want to add in a bunch of remixes and pretend they are the "missing tracks" or throw in a bunch of music from other games because you think they deserve to be in Brawl, go throw together your own playlist and listen to it. Cluttering up this thread with your little project isn’t doing anyone any good.
Please don’t be so rude. I’m not making any false claims or pretending anything. A lot of people have expressed their appreciation at other websites and are looking forward to the full release. So don’t make a claim that I’m not doing anyone any good, thinking your opinion is shared by everybody. You don’t have to download my version if you don’t want to.
My brawl music video with the Wii Would Like to play song :p
The 314 track gamerip is complete. It is very likely that when people say they are looking forward to a "full release" they mean that they want the 314 track game rip, plus the so-called missing files from the game disc, that may or may not even exist on the disc at all.
Throwing in a bunch of remixes from sites like OC Remix doesn’t make a "full release" it only confuses things. I don’t care how many readme files you have, people are going to think that your version includes the missing files from the game disc, which it does not.
Why do you feel the need to clutter up an amazing gamerip with tracks that have nothing to do with Super Smash Bros. Brawl? I thought the point of this new thread was to avoid confusion and organize things. I definitely feel that all you are introducting into this thread is eventual chaos.
It doesn’t matter if you state that these aren’t the missing tracks, gullable people will still think that they could be from the game disc.
Let’s say that these so-called lost tracks, can actually be ripped from the game. By pretending that these remixes are part of the game, you’re actually detracting people from trying to extract these tracks from the disc if they do exist.
Just like the old thread, when people were asking "is this track in the game", "is this the full game rip", "what about the ‘lost tracks I heard about", etc. This pack your making is just going to clutter up the release and you’re going to have a bunch of post from different people saying that they recognize the tracks you added in from other sites and other soundtracks and it’s going to ruin the intergity of an excellent gamerip.
Why can’t you just be happy with the 314 tracks? Just because that list came out, now you have to go and add in your own remixes. It may not be confusing for you and a handful of others, but on a larger scale it’s going to be confusing for a lot of others.
The sound quality on a lot of your files is also way off in comparision to the official tracks released. What are you working from? Do you have the original .brstm files? Are you converting the files straight from those or are you messing with the already compressed .mp3 files? I very much doubt it, because the "in_cube.dll" file has settings to adjust the number of times a file loops and how many seconds the fade-out should last. Also your bitrates are all over the place, which makes me believe you are working off of the .mp3 files.
Your readme files is also a blatent lie, it will not have every song that was cut. By saying that you imply that you have extracted the missing files from the disc, not just thrown a bunch of remixes into a folder and name them things like A12 and C06 to confuse people. Hell, if you’re going to take a bunch of remixes and pretend that they are files from the game, at least have the decency to give credit to where you got the remix from and who remixed it.
–
There are a lot of people who would think that some of the "missing tracks" would have been great for Brawl, but they are not in Brawl! What you are doing is the musical equivlant of saying how cool it would be for Geno, Mega Man, Simon Belmont, etc. to be playable characters in the game. It doesn’t matter what you think would be cool in the game, or what music should have made it in, it’s a moot point now that the game has been released and a full gamerip has been released too. This might have been fine months ago before the game came out, but at this point it is just ridiculous.
I understand your opinion, but I think you are going a little overboard with attacking me. First off, when I say full release, I’m saying full release of what I’m working on. As I said in the first post (I made that post too long!) that link is to something very much incomplete and is for feedback purposes. This includes the fact the composers and arrangers aren’t tagged yet, and I’m aware of this.
I don’t understand where you are getting the idea that the tracks I did are less quality than the others. I ripped the same brstms that everybody else did from the ISO. Nintendo uses 30 kHz sample rate for their streaming format, which is more than adequate when there are sound effects mixed in. But this sample rate actually sacrifices some of the range of the 44.100 kHz found on OSTs. So I went through much pain to find lossless or near lossless versions of the tracks that had an official OST release. I did a comparison for each song to make sure that Nintendo didn’t do an improved mix of that particular track. If they did, I chose the brstm as the source. If they didn’t, I chose the superior 44.100 kHz version. Then I converted to MP3, the bitrates aren’t constant because I used VBR. I’ve spent many hours making sure each track is at the highest quality possible, and to have you shrug me off as an amateur is very insulting. I should be working on paying work, but like you, I love Smash Bros a little too much. ๐
Phew, another incredibly long post! We could keep taking up pages, or we could agree that we have two differing opinions, leave it at that, and enjoy Brawl!
EIGHT MORE DAYS!….
Hang on just a bit longer….
We will be brawling this coming sunday!
This guy has uploaded more US Voice Acting clips. Check it out if you haven’t already. Pokemon Trainer is ASH!
I can agree to that, but when you release a final version of this "pack" can you please credit where you got each track from, whether it be from another Nintendo compilation CD or another web site such as OC Remix. Actually it would be really helpful if you didn’t rename the files with the A12 / C06 / etc. prefixes, because that would help avoid so much confusion.
Take into consideration that the game hasn’t even been released state-side. So someone may find a way to extract those tracks from the disc, if it is even possible.
If you are going to edit the already existing tracks in efforts to get a better loop, or whatever, that’s fine. Just don’t jumble official tracks with remixes from other sources by giving them the same prefixes (A12 / C06 / etc.) as they were listed in the gamerip. Can you do that? Please. =)
And well here it is!
I hope all of you enjoy this, I worked hard on this..rate and comment please! ^_^
This was A tough video so I hope it delivers…!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdAz3mumq80
ALSO THERE MIGHT BE A SLIGHT SSE SPOILER..though it isnt MAJOR…
It was from pit’s decent..I believe this clip was also shown at E4All..
Also, what did you use to make it?
Also, anyone knows if the american version opening is the same as the japanese version?
Also, what did you use to make it?
Well I didn’t spoil myself, I used the scenes that were provided through the Dojo, and the trailers and the intro.
I didn’t really use that many ๐
I also used a program called Video Edit Magic(That’s the real name)
There is a picture of the actual program..with my video in edit mode..
Fox-At some points he sounds like Luke Skywalker but he’s ok.
Meta Knight-Darth Vader, bad ass, nuff said.
Pit-When he says you can’t defeat me I swear he sounds EXACTLY like Silver. Not too keen on his voice yet.
Ike-Other then sounding like Anakin when he says prepare yourself he sounds good.
Falco-Ok why does he sound like Raph from TMNT. Don’t like his new voice much.
Pkmn Trnr-Ok I want a new pair of ears after hearing that. Is there a reason he has Ashes voice from the Diamond And Pearl series? Whats worse is I’ll have to put up with this voice when I play as him ARGHHHHH!!!!!.
Squirtle-Good.
Ivysaur-Too deep and did he say Whyvysaur?
Jigglypuff-Ok.
Sonic-Jason Griffith actually sounds ok minus the You’re too slow thing.
Snake-David Hayter Equals WIN!!!!!!!!.
Well there’s my oppinions now let’s hear some of yours.
Forget music videos… well almost. You need to go find a bunch of Nintendo cos-players and make a commerical for Brawl, in homage to the greatest video game commerical ever, the one for the original Super Smash Bros. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e9fK38BCAQ). As awesome as Brawl may be in itself, the commericals don’t even compare to the N64 Super Smash Bros. ad.
Your sig has Lara Croft..epic win
lol
Aww isnt that cute…
BUT IT’S WRONG!
Your font… It’s very loud and large… oww.
LOL, soz, but I just thought I’d point it out y’kno ๐
Quite alright, quite alright.. just… xD maybe do it in smaller letters?
Aww isnt that cute…
BUT IT’S WRONG!
Yeah it is. But it took down two forums and one IRC chat! It has unimaginable power and well…. do I need to say more? Now is the the subspace emissary tracks uploaded yet?

HAHA! Awesome! I remember that show and that same phrase. Thanks for that.

So I’m guess its a no then?
Also, I need some help with EditorArtist’s songs, to tag them (artists and games).
Lol no no i’m just playing around with ya man XD
It’s coming closer and closer….
AHHH It’s like christmas all over …again..
It’s coming closer and closer….
AHHH It’s like christmas all over …again..

>_> oh right…sorry >_> ๐
Soo…IGN reviews Brawl tommrow…I expect a massive explosion..
Speaking of which:
US SSBB IGN.com Review (http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/856/856580p1.html)
Final Rating:
9.0 Presentation
An impressive lineup of stages and characters, including some from third parties. Amazing soundtrack. Gorgeous cut-scenes. Simple menus. Long front-load and lacking online options.
8.5 Graphics
Looks like an enhanced version of Melee. Improved character models and backgrounds. Everything runs in 480p, 16:9 and at 60 frames. Even so, the graphics definitely lack detail in areas.
10 Sound
One of the best soundtracks ever created. Sound effects, meanwhile, are perfectly punchy and well-suited to the characters and environments.
9.5 Gameplay
Tight control, more balanced character move sets, new final smashes and more. We’re not particularly fond of the single-player mode, but multiplayer is so good we just don’t care.
10 Lasting Appeal
Destined to be played for years thanks to spectacular offline and online multiplayer modes. One of the great four-player games of all time.
9.5 Incredible OVERALL
Sounds like it’s worth getting when it comes out!
Quoted for Truth!
Anyway, what the hell are they on about? This is Brawl, not Melee.
O.O

Also, I need some help with EditorArtist’s songs, to tag them (artists and games).
That was a beta release. Here’s the real release with tags and many other updates (this only includes the tracks that are actually referenced on the game disc):
Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Lost Tracks (http://www.editorartist.com/)
Track Details (http://www.editorartist.com/game_soundtracks/smash_brawl_!_lost_tracks/%7btrack_details%7d.htm)
These songs represent the music cut from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Most of these are not the versions of the songs that would’ve been in the game, but they are probably the closest Nintendo fans will ever get.
During this final week before Brawl’s release in the US, I will be adding the rest of the Brawl soundtrack in the same quality as this release, each song given an appropriate and unique screenshot from the official website.
MORE DETAILS:
People discovered an archive (smashbros_sound.brsar) on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Game Disc that listed all of the music with descriptive labels. There were some songs listed that weren’t actually on the disc. I spent many hours researching and finding the most official versions of these lost tracks, in the highest quality available. Many of these songs are highly sought by fans, so I feel honored to be able to bring them to you!
The included file "track_details" explains why I chose these particular tracks. It also lists the tweaks I did to unify and enhance the songs in order to bring them to the same level of quality as the music still in the game. This release does not include the missing Subspace Emissary music or Victory Themes, as there is nothing available online that would do an adequate job of representing whatever those songs might’ve sounded like.
I hope you enjoy the music, and feel free to give me feedback!
SPECIAL THANKS:

Are the artists/games with the tracks, because I need them to tag the tracks !!
Yes the composers/arrangers/games are included in the tags. I’d recommend replacing the "Brawl WIP" because even the songs that were already there have been further tweaked and refined, and at a higher bitrate.
You should upload the Excel file seperately so people know what they are getting without having to download the whole package.
Track Details (http://www.editorartist.com/game_soundtracks/Super%20Smash%20Bros%20Brawl%20-!-%20Lost%20Tracks/_track_details.htm)
And more thing, sorry, but can you tell me which ones are originals and which ones are arranged for SSBB ? Thanks.
Just need the Missing SSE and Victory Themes to have the Complete Soundtrack !!
These were taken from the Brawl cutscenes:
X14 Ending
X24 How to Play
The rest weren’t arranged specifically for SSBB. Each track is either:
A) taken from the original game (similar to Delfino Plaza, Gerudo Valley, and Wii Sports)
In the track details (http://www.editorartist.com/game_soundtracks/smash_brawl_!_lost_tracks/%7btrack_details%7d.htm) document, the source is labeled as "ROM" or "Game Disc"
B) taken from an official OST (similar to the Mother 3 arrangements which uses the same source material as Mother 3+ and Mother 3i)
In the track details (http://www.editorartist.com/game_soundtracks/smash_brawl_!_lost_tracks/%7btrack_details%7d.htm) document, the source is labeled as the name of an album.
Just need the Missing SSE and Victory Themes to have the Complete Soundtrack !!
Technically there is no such thing as a Complete Soundtrack since some of the numbers such as B04 aren’t even referenced anywhere, so it’s impossible to know what was originally planned for all of the tracks. The songs not on the disc will most likely never be released or were never arranged in the first place. Much like Mewtwo and Roy, they were cut out or never fully developed. I did my best to make up for that, but only for the tracks that had enough detail to know what was planned. We have no idea what the missing Subspace Emissary music would’ve been like, unless some of it is included in the form of MIDI rather than a stream. As for the unique victory themes for each character, I was originally going to approximate that as well, but my efforts would’ve stuck out too much from the orchestrated victory themes on the disc.
What do you think I’m doing ?? ๐ It’s my part in this thread ! ^^
A lot of cuts don’t make sense, Rage. ;P
A question of interest, why these tracks only loop once?
Not come across it myself yet
I think it’s a bad idea to mix the official tracks with EditorArtist pack since those files aren’t in the game at all.

Had to do it ๐
I knew something like that would be posted eventually.
In my view it’s quite funny as well as the item catch of SSBB.
I suppose there will be one for tommorrow and saturday?
Also, why is everyone happy about the "unofficial" lost tracks being released? They are just a "myth" as I have looked and they are not on the disk.
I hope these are kept completely seperate. Otherwise, it would just feel wrong as they are only possible re-arrangments not the actual tracks!
I have one for each day ๐
They all look the same Lol
But if I post it now, it won’t be as exciting ๐
I hope these are kept completely seperate. Otherwise, it would just feel wrong as they are possible re-arrangments not the actual tracks!
I’ve felt the same way from the start. Ever since that file list was released people have been scrambling to find the best representation of the those few songs.
I find it all rather silly. Was 314 tracks not enough? Seriously.
I find it all rather silly. Was 314 tracks not enough? Seriously.
I agree with you on that one, why can’t people be happy with what we have already.
Instead of ruining it by finding re-arrangments which suit SSBB.
Anyway, I personally haven’t listened to any of them yet as I don’t think they would suit the style of the game. Then, what would I know?
http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd225/DarkShadowRage2/LinkFindsBrawl3.gif
Is there anyway you can make the game case rotate like in the LoZ N64 Games? Although, you’d need a picture of the back cover though which would be a shame though.
Edit: Although the gif is funny.
The same animated image created by DarkShadowRage although, with Wind Waker audio!
Apologies for the watermark as it isn’t my fault.
Edit: When the disc image for the English version becomes available, I’m going to get hold of the SFX.
I’d like to trade Brawl FCs with you, DarkShadowRage, once we both are in possession of this game.
Oh, and great Gifs, too. lol.
No LOL, I just said that for fun because in Europe, we have to wait 3 months… Lucky you ๐
Not only three months most likely… =|
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nz2plonSd8 US Version INTRO btw
Edit: No disk read errors or any choppiness? Apparently about 5% of Wiis can’t play Brawl. They are raising a big stink over at GameFAQs. I hope my Wii can read the Brawl disk correctly…..
…scaring…
Also, everything will be uploaded NEXT WEEK ! I’m near to finish all the tag, upload,… but I’ve got A LOT OF WORK ! So, wait just a little and it’ll be OK ๐ (well, all those *ikeghijegijhelviheij* Americans have Brawl now, so they can wait a week…^^)
Edit: No disk read errors or any choppiness? Apparently about 5% of Wiis can’t play Brawl. They are raising a big stink over at GameFAQs. I hope my Wii can read the Brawl disk correctly…..
My Wii has been fine, I can play brawl just fine ๐
SSE IS FUN AS HELL! :O I Love this XD
I’m getting Really good with Pit, and ZSS and Zelda is just a beast XD
Link is still mah boi! He’s doing good..we should play dude. ๐
Do you have MSN or anything? XD
I have decided to screw my personal resolve to save money… I will go to GameStop tomorrow and get my moneh back which I prepaid for getting PAL Brawl, and will buy a Freeloader as well as US Brawl at PlayAsia. I need Brawl. I effing need it so much that I screw the fact that this will be a very close month. SAKURAIIIIII!!!

Heh… well, I have the way cheaper version with the PAL Freeloader. Instead of 250 buck for a Wii I only have to pay like… 30 or so XD
Yeah, it’s a pain when they release a Wii freeloader just after you’ve finally decided to import a U.S Wii.. :'( Ah well, at least I can install the firmware update that comes on the disc, take that. :p Of course Nintendo could always block the freeloader with a firmware upgrade, but I’m sure you guys are all crossing your fingers that they don’t.
Edit: Yes! Tracking on my Amazon shipment says that my Brawl has arrived in Gainesville and is out for delivery! It should be here sometime this afternoon!
Heh… well… it’s Nintendo’s own fault… if they wouldn’t have so much release delay than I wouldn’t buy a Freeloader anyhow. But I don’t want to wait 3 or 4 months, if not longer. I actually don’t even want to wait 2 weeks for shipping. ๐
IN YOUR FACE, NINTENDO OF EUROPE. If you don’t want us to hack your consoles or use unlocker software, then release our games sooner!
@Rage: Meh. Well, I’ll order a WiFi-USB-Connector together with Brawl and Freeloader at Play Asia, so I won’t tell until I have everything and set it up. Besides I dunno about the delays in between US and Europe, neither I know if it’s possible to play WiFi with the Freeloader (it should, though).

Great, so I will be able to do the changes. ^-^
I’m doing a thing to make it easier ๐ !
Actually, I’ve thought of an idea Skunk.
Instead of making changes to the exsiting packs why not have two different soundpacks one Japanesse (which already exists) and one English. Also, some people may fancy having some fun with these anyway by using them in YouTube Poops and other stuff because, we know that some of the characters sound different in Japanesse compared to English.
On the that note, the torrent will be uploaded soon!

I’m just extracting the disc image from a whole bundle of Rar files. If anyone is interested I’ll upload the Manual for the game as well seeming as it was included with the disc image.
On the that note, the torrent will be uploaded soon!
It could be a cool idea ! I want to hear differences between Jp and Us voices !!
Also…
EVERYTHING IS UPLOADED !!!!
Check the folder, the only link you can find in the 2nd post ๐ !! Enjoy Brawl, fully tagged !!
Oooh, nice.
Can you do some for Link on SSE? =D
Anyway, does anyone know what the music track on this video is called?
The uploader posted it was from the soundtrack:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqa2IRaTdVw
I might have erased from my computer because it’s not there (or I never downloaded it).

This song is "Battle for the World (Boss Confrontation)" from SSE in my tagged OST. Also, it’s the Y05 track.
Thanks. ^^
Yeah, I didn’t have it.
I just kept the non vocal version of the Metroid music from that folder. *lol*
Err, I don’t know ’cause I don’t have the game… I’m searching…
EDIT : It’s a random CD that may appear during the game, sorry.
Head to the CD Factory
The English voices will be sorted out by Skunk and then, uploaded here as before just like the Japanesse Voicepacks were.

Everything else appears in the Sound Test with the exception of the short Wario Ware, Inc. mini-game clips, the six songs played by K.K. on the Smashville stage, and all of the victory themes. Right now I have 257 songs in the Sound Test and I know I’m missing A15 which unlocks after 50 hours of multiplayer.
Has anyone else been able to unlock any of the following songs?
However, I’m loading down the US-Soundpackage already, means that I will be able to present you the English soundbites additional to those I already made. Also I will finally take on working on the sounds again.

Meta Ridley – 16 (1,14 Downloads/Day)
Poor Ridley gets no love.
Just wondering Skunk, what percentage are you on with your download?
Anyway, for those interested I have posted the link to the torrent in my signature. Although, it makes me wonder who the 98% person is? I suppose they got the torrent as soon as it came on-line. Personally, I hope this person doesn’t do a hit and run (in this case) and helps seed this torrent as I’m having to stop seeding soon as I’m getting a bit of lag with my internet connection.
The folders are the same in both versions
Here’s what the following folders contain:
ADV_Default = Bosses (snd_group_enemy*) & SSE (snd_group_ADVstage*)
snd_player_chara = Character/Fighter (snd_group_chara*)
snd_player_item = Assist Thropies (snd_group_assist*) & items (snd_group_item)
snd_player_stage = narration voices (snd_group_menu & snd_group_narration*)/stages (snd_group_stage*)
snd_player_system = wii-mote (snd_group_chara_select) & misc. in-game
snd_player_versus_common = other misc in-game
I hope this is useful!

Sounds cool to me.
Well I have beaten SSE, and I can record them so yeah I could do that. there is ALOT of cutscenes though.
i’ll get right on it then.
I’m going to compare what we have to the soundtrack parts in the game
http://gonintendo.com/?p=37901
Is that the real stuff? Is that the actual "lost tracks"? Or again, versions taken from remixes or else?

I’ve unlocked everything in the Sound Test, which brings the total to 258 songs.
I can post the English track names along with the artist who arranged each song if you would like so you could update the main page.
uy
@Skunk : Yeah, you can do it, I’ll see if I’ll change the ID3 Tags with the new artists / composers,… because it’ll take me some time. Also, for the US torrent, I can’t help, sorry… :-\
EDIT : Wow, I’ve some work, as A LOT of tracks need a new Tag… ^^U Yeepee !

On a sidenote: My download status for the US sound torrent is 73%. When lwares comes on, I’ll hopefully get the last 27.

The following tracks are not listed in the Sound Test. In addition anything with a prefix of (Z) is not listed as those are the victory themes and those are listed in Sound Effects.

DL Status US sounds: 77%. My torrent client predicts 8-9 hours of waiting time until it’s finished… meh. <_<
For the "missing" things…
X06 and X22 are Result Screens – hence they aren’t included.
X24 is our beloved "Long Silence"
Y09-Y13 are shortened versions of their main themes, except the Metroid ones which are only the versions without voices. Y17 again is a Result Screen. Y16 are just some ambient sounds, hence they aren’t included in the music list.
E07 is an alternate version of Obstacle Course… I dunno why it was pulled out while Area 6’s Alt. Vers. is included. Meh.
M09-M18 are the short WarioWare minigame clips… *shrug*
Can’t explain the missing K.K.s (N-stuff).
R03 also is only ambience (Electroplankton), and no music.
T05 is Final Destination with a little different start – so of course it’s also not included. :3
Happy tagging everyone! =P
Thanks a bunch guys ^^
Thank you ๐ ! Well, I’ll tag everything first and upload them later after the tag.
Also, if you didn’t notice it, I just added the "Ending" and "How to Play" songs, when I uploaded it.
I decided that I didn’t like how each file looped twice, so I used the original .brstm files and now every track just loops once. Now all that is left to do is convert those .wav files to 256kbps AAC files in iTunes, well that and tag everything. Also my track listing mimics that of the Sound Test. Sure it’s fewer tracks but it is just about as close as you can get to perfection in my opinion. =)
The soundpack you uploaded was the Japanese one! D:
I was rather laughing because of his expression XD
It was perfect, man ! Thank you ! ๐ But can you upload them in an other format ? If not, it’s not important.
I can make them avi but that’d take more time and it might kill the actual quality a little bit, I can’t do anything about the screensize though ๐
.avi files will be fine, take your time ๐
The soundpack you uploaded was the Japanese one! D:
Just to let you know, I haven’t accidently uploaded the Japanesse soundpack, the file names are the same as the japanesse version. Although, some of the sounds are bigger in size.
Check the name call narrations (e.g. Lizardon, Purin, Robot) if you don’t believe me.
Skunk, I’ll have to agree with you on that one as I knew there was something dodgy going on with the person who had the top percentage done before everyone else.
Also, how did this person know I was uploading this in the first place? I know, I did announce it on here and only gave you the link before anyone else.
So, I don’t know what happened there and I thought Bearshare and Limewire were bad.
Anyway, I will have to find a suitable hosting site to upload the soundpack.
Edit: Skunk, I’ll send you the link via PM.
I don’t think you can since it’s a Wi-Fi title.
Done. In Pack number 21, "Brawl General Themes".
So…Track 21 – Batllefield from pack 21 – Meele is corrupt.. I tried to download the pack twice, and only this track is corrupt.. Can anyone sen d me, or correct the pack?
Ah, OK. But there’s no problem with that track… I’ll give you a link via PM. EDIT It’s done.
@Skunk : I’ve finished to tag the tracks with the new ID3 tags. Also, I think now you can delete the "(sorry)" in your first post ! XD ^^
As a side note, this soundtrack is worlds more awesome when everything only loops once!
If anyone is interested in a fully-tagged 258 song (as it appears in the in-game Sound Test) version of the soundtrack in 256 kbps AAC, let me know.
(Only songs that have been arranged have an artist listing.)
0:01 – 0:02 – Super Mario Bros. 3
0:03 – 0:20 – Wrecking Crew
0:25 – 0:28 – Excite Bike

Ahh, sorry, I can’t help you for that…
Fixin’ it.
(with the new tags)
I don’t have the pack yet, as the torrent was broken.
@Topic:
I find it very interesting and kinda amusing that actually NOONE ever downloaded the ATs… Noone wanting to hear Waluigi, Lyn or Isaac? o.o

Well… You know, I’ve already the SFXs, so I don’t want to download them once again, even if they’re organized… And as I’ve some problems with FileFactory… -_-U
nevermind, i found it "bramble blast" great song imo
And everytime I downlaod it said that I am downloading to many things right now but im not dowenlaoding anything. So can someone put the the songs in this thread in only one folder?
THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY TO UPLOAD THE WHOLE SOUNDTRACK IN ONE FILE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE TOO BIG!
It is 314 files, of which 2 are empty (000 and X24)
Anyway, expect the English Voices soon which Skunk will provide for you guys which she will keep you posted about.
Thanks to lwares for his help. ^-^
Your welcome, Skunk.
Edit: Also, speaking on the subject of SSBB take a look at this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPcYZO0vUc0)!
This is a couple of people doing the impossible on the Home-Run Contest and trust me you will be shocked.
Also, I don’t own a Wii or Brawl… well not yet anyway.

Enjoy XD
Edit: WATE WHUT The actual game doesn’t have it either! It’s only heard EXACTLY during a Cruel Brawl match :/
Edit: WATE WHUT The actual game doesn’t have it either! It’s only heard EXACTLY during a Cruel Brawl match :/
X17 in the gamerip
Also, you have to get 10 kills in cruel brawl to unlock the music, I think.
I think I forgot to add it to the Pokeball-Collection, however, Pokemon Trainer has it included, so just grab his Voice-Pack.
The Pok???mon Trainer only has the pok???ball "opening" sound. I’m looking for the pok???ball item "bouncing" sound.
However, the normal "Item landing" sound would be this one – is this by the chance the asked sound?
http://www.filefactory.com/file/5ed783/
Anywho: US Voices! I made an additional pack of the US Narrator to the Japanese one, and yes, I listened to EVERY soundbite. I sorted out what was different (and it’s not only the name changes, you’d be surprised!). So, additional to what you already have, here is the one and only: Narrator of US Brawl! =O
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b61aab/
And yes, for a complete collection of the voices, you will have to download the Japanese Narration. However, as there are only about 20 files to be changed, you can do it manually – I won’t upload a collection with everything the Narrator says but US only. I actually prefer to own both versions, anyway. ๐
Here’s a video that shows off the sound. A good part to hear it at is at about 1:00 right after the fire pokemon goes away. It’s that "tink tink tink" kind of sound.
http://www.filefactory.com/file/710c0c/
Anywhosss… Chernabogue54, The tags could be a lot better and more orderly. Although since I’m the one bitching and twiddling my thumbs, I’ll do the tagging myself in the coming week.
How do you get Folder in File Factory?
Though, I’m having an issue with the NES Classics pack. It’s not giving me the big green "Download" button.
I don’t know if it’s just my computer, or perhaps the file was removed.
Anyone mind checking?
EDIT: N/M. Issue resolved.
Addition Pack – US Assist Trophies
Sonic
Snake
Meta Knight
Wolf (he sounds sooooo crappy in English ;-; )
Lucario
Fox
Falco
Pit
Ike
Jigglypuff
Pok???mon Trainer
Pok???balls (may contain the same samples as Japanese pack)
Any other character/item I recognize to have a different voice set – if you find something missing, please tell me!
Fun facts: AT Trophies and US narration pack were NOT downloaded AT ALL.
As my friend Skunk said it, I’ll upload the music here.
The songs have been tagged by me and the titles may not be exactly the same that in the first post. And as it’s a hard work, let me some time ๐ . And don’t request ! ^^
The packs "Super Smash Bros. Melee Returning Stages Themes", "SSB Brawl General Themes", "Victory Themes" and "SSE Themes" were in the same folder, that’s why they’ve 01, 02, 03 and 04 numbers ๐
Okay, so, here we go ! Enjoy !
THE SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL FOLDER : http://www.filefactory.com/f/477cec178988b845/
Note : The packs are uploaded as .rar files and you need the free program "Winrar" to unarchive the files.
——————————————————————————————
i waz used to the original downloading. now it when i try to download it says its an unknown file type and doesnt work…
I’m not sure to understand your problem, but you can’t download from the folder ?? Perhaps, you have downloaded too many files.
*sighs and smiles* Oh, it’s always so nice to hear the gratitude of people like you… I love how you appreciate our work to upload all of these files and your comprehension if one is not working or the download site doesn’t work for you because you downloaded so much already or their servers are overstrained. God bless you. What would we do without your help and nice words. =)
I find myself listening to both the uploaded/downloaded track and also to just listening to the Sound Test option, one thing though, is that the previous list that was made in a thread about the music credits is that they seem to have taken the lazy way out in the game and just put general credits, like all MGS songs say Konami Digital Entertainment, I would have at least in the game liked to know who sung Calling to the Night, lol.
Seems the people here are more descriptive than the game itself .
Is it for upload the complete rip in one link??
If yes, it’s not possible, NO HOST have more than 1GB size…
www.not-existant.com
well heres the thing. when i downloaded the folder, the files r there, but it says its not in mp3 file type.
Because it’s packed in a rar-file… you have to unpack it first. =)
Yeah, as Skunk said it, you need "Winrar" to unarchive the files.
There used to be uh, I forget what the site was but they had a partnership with 110mb.com, and then they got hacked. But yeah, the site had pretty much unlimited everything, including direct linking.
Such websites exist, just not forever, they’re usually either hacked or overrun by rabid hosting enough to have the site shut down.
EDIT: apparently, the site was/is called UploadingIt.com, and they’re back..but with restrictions.
I personally prefer FileFactory, because the size with 300 MB is bigger than standard (100 MB) and the deletion of files also is pretty fair. Besides their servers are stable (I hardly had the error "Servers are too full"… only like 5 out of 200 times or what), the speed is pretty good AND they have hardly any ads… so yeh.
However, the big "One File" is not possible, ONCE AGAIN. Maybe I would upload the whole 1,2 GB big folder IF YOU FIND ME A PAGE TO DO SO. [/rant]
Check my post on page 9. I typed it all out, now it just has to be updated on the main page and in the music tags.
the whole 1.03 GB not by parts..
I swear, this forum gets dumber every day.
at least for me anyone had this problem?
the whole 1.03 GB not by parts..
Read two posts above this post. NO THERE IS NOT. Except maybe a torrent, but I don’t know about it.
@satanic: WTF?
http://www.filefactory.com/file/31a919/
Be Patient. Skunk will upload it when she’s good and ready.
I haven’t gone into the game to confirm this yet, but I believe the music in the Obstacle Course stage actually changes as the seasons change. I believe E02 is spring/summer and E07 is autumn/winter. I’ll check on it in a bit.
EDIT: Just checked it out and I can confirm that I was right.
No it won’t. I’m very busy, you have to know. I have to work every day about 10 hours – and I come home pretty exhausted. However, I will TRY to have it uploaded tomorrow, if I don’t do so, you will have to wait ’till Saturday.
Wait wait wait… Am I reading this right? Is this the… first "Thank you for your work, Skunk"?!?!
O_O
O_O
What ? The first "Thank you for your job, you rock!" ???? Wow, cool ^^
Also, Cyantre gave us a new link to miscellanous Brawl songs, I’ll see if they’re the REAL missing tracks ๐
Also, Cyantre gave us a new link to miscellanous Brawl songs, I’ll see if they’re the REAL missing tracks ๐
I said nothing about those being the missing tracks, those are simply the tracks not listed in the Sound Test. -_-;
Yeah, but I thought that all the songs we have were in the Sound Test, sorry…
There are only 258 songs in the sound test, some of the tracks aren’t in the sound test because they are essentially sound effects, such as all of the victory themes.
My thread is just organizing the files differently, and all the tracks only loop once, and they are also all in 256 kbps ACC files. =)
Trust me if I found the "missing tracks" I’d let everyone know, but I don’t even think those files are on this disc at this point.

And a little edit: AT-Additions for US.
http://www.filefactory.com/file/bf3218/
Coming up next: US Voices from: Sonic, Snake, Vader… I mean Meta Knight
yea i agree but it’s nice to have both
again thanks
Sonic: http://www.filefactory.com/file/638cd1/
Snake: http://www.filefactory.com/file/383725/
Meta Knight: http://www.filefactory.com/file/698cdc/
Coming up next: Lucario, Fox and Falco
EDIT: btw I think that your thread is better than dragon’s because of the fact that you arranged the list according to the game genre’s so don’t get sad if their ‘thread’ got more thanks than yours just be proud of what you did and keep the good work…peace
Fox: http://www.filefactory.com/file/bc6289/
Falco: http://www.filefactory.com/file/1125c5/
Lucario: http://www.filefactory.com/file/1a7924/

Wishlist: Nothing
To-Do-List: English Crowd-cheerings, PT, Pok???balls
Thanks in advance!!
Also, I’d like to make a request. All the impact sounds and sfx of attacks would be nice. =]
I will get on that, however the crowd cheerings are always in the voice pack of the character.
Hey, is it possible that we can rip in game sounds? Such as selecting things, smashing things(aka attacking), and, well, you know. Just sounds.
Yes it is, however, I didn’t think anyone would be interested in something like that.
You’re missing Sonic’s spinball sounds.. and his WHSHHHH sound when Super Sonic…
Also, I’d like to make a request. All the impact sounds and sfx of attacks would be nice. =]
Well, I haven’t played the game, so I don’t know these sounds. The Spinball sound is actually not really interesting, as it’s split up in 3 or 4 separate sounds. And you want ALL the impact and attack sounds? Just to let you know, I’m NOT going to tag those.
i hate wolf so much i hate him when i hear his vocie i though of bubba from prison lol
I like Wolf, however, I agree with you on his crappy voice.
I’m looking for the music of the first part of "The Swamp" stage in SSE. I liked it a lot, but I couldn’t find it… Do you know if there is a link to download it??
Thanks in advance!!
Look into Chernabogue’s post and get the SSE-Music pack.
btw, how do you guys rip them?? where do you get the original data? I have the game ISO, but I dont know how to get the files! with help I could help you guys have more files…
English voices of
Ike: http://www.filefactory.com/file/ffbefc/
Pit: http://www.filefactory.com/file/dac8d9/
Jigglypuff: http://www.filefactory.com/file/f2d747/
Coming up next: English Crowd-cheerings and Crowd pack, PT
Wishlist: Crowd, Attack SFX, Stage SFX
To-Do-List: English Pok???balls, Attack SFX, Stage SFX
how do you rip them?? I could help… (if you want)
I don’t see how my statement was to misinterpret – there is no other file in the game which I don’t possess. In either language.
lwares was so nice to rip them.
Anyhow… Little edit once again… the Audience pack! Hooray!
Crowd: http://www.filefactory.com/file/6e7650/
Coming up next: English PT, Pok???balls
Wishlist: Attack SFX, Stage SFX
To-Do-List: Attack SFX, Stage SFX
Ye mean "VFX", nay? :3
Hum, yeah, in fact, yeah, there’re Voices… because there’s no differents between Jp and Us attacks sounds ^^
I did it, but that music isn’t in the pack!! =-O
I think that’s the only one that is missing from all the music of SSE…
Who do you want me to use?
but mmk then ๐
Are the tracks actually tagged like "Battle for Storm Hill* – Donkey Kong Jungle Beat" or is all that just decorative to show the original game and such with the tracks tagged simply like "Battle for Storm Hill"?
Whatever floats your boat then ๐
Voice doesn’t mean the character will play any different though, deciding a character based on the voice is just silly in my opinion but eh..I don’t have to worry about anything though it will suck not being able to read your name or your taunts online >_>
Complete Golden Hammer music rocks!
EDIT: Do you have VFX for Mei Ling, Otacon, Colonel, Slippy, Peppy, Krystal, and any other secret taunt characters (I think there are a few more Star Fox characters in the Lylat Cruise taunt, but I’m not sure)? Could I also request them if they aren’t already somewhere?
I just want to say thx skunk, the US Dub sucks, but it’s not you’re fault lol.
Have a nice day
I know there’s alot so tagging probably isn’t necessary. Lol.

I will get on that when I finished the voice sets. *scratches back of head* However, it seems the radio conversations of Snake, Fox and Falco (and prolly Wolf) are not in the soundfiles, neither the music, so I won’t be able to load them up for you. I searched through all sound data looking for it, but I didn’t find it. Gomen.
Are the tracks actually tagged like "Battle for Storm Hill* – Donkey Kong Jungle Beat" or is all that just decorative to show the original game and such with the tracks tagged simply like "Battle for Storm Hill"?
The tracks are tagged like this : "Title of the Music" – "Name of the Original Game", except for musics that have the same Title/Game Name. It’s not "decorative", it’s important, to know from what game the song is taken.
But if you want to tag your tracks differently, just do it ๐ .
I just want to say thx skunk, the US Dub sucks, but it’s not you’re fault lol.
Have a nice day
No it doesn’t >_>
And I was wondering….. any idea why not all songs are listed in the Sound Test (like Cruel Brawl) and if there is ANY possibility they release a real soundtrack (I know the answer is NO but I’m still hoping).
Thanks again ^_^ .
But if you want to tag your tracks differently, just do it ๐ .
I’d personally just put it in the comment, but that might not be there depending what software (and thus what versions of ID3) you’re using.
Do you have sounds or music you can’t stand cause they cause you to go insane? Like screeching animals, loud crying babies, dogs barking annoyingly?
Yes? Well, now you know how I feel about most of the English voices in Brawl, ESPECIALLY Wolf’s.
Yes? Well, now you know how I feel about most of the English voices in Brawl, ESPECIALLY Wolf’s.
o_o I’ve never seen someone go so strongly on the voices…it doesn’t even make or break the game.. ๐ whatever you prefer though >_> they aren’t that bad when you hear them in actual context..hearing them out of context yeah they sound odd.

Anyhow… it seems actually noone was interested in the original ATs – funny that the US Addition (which contains like… 4 or 5 new voices) got more downloads than the original and full AT pack (US addition has 5 or 6, AT pack had 0), which now is deleted – because noone downloaded it.
Anyone interested that I reupload the ATs?
Why don’t you just put all of the AT sounds (English & Japanese) into one folder and upload that?
Especially latter I disapprove… besides your screens need more Bowser, Wolf or Luigi! >.<
sorry…I am just posting random shots that I thought looked funny as in Sonic geting homerun KO’d
I would like them. plus lucario’s final smash sounds (it’s only three parts) since the aren’t in his voice pack.
Assist Trophies. =P
Since when are the sound effects outside of the game so important anyway? I can’t imagine anyone listening to these things the same way they listen to songs. There a few sound effects worth mentioning, like ZSS taunts, the imfamous "Falcon Punch" and "FAILURE!" but besides that, what’s all the fuss about?
Things you need:
1) The originally labeled brawl soundtrack. As in, the one with A01.mp3, X01.mp3, etc placed in a folder called mp3/ where you place the ruby script
2) ruby with id3lib-ruby installed (google.)
3) tracklist.txt [anyone know where i can host a small 12kb textfile?]
if you want to create tracklist.txt yourself, it looks like this:
A01 – Ground Theme – Super Mario Bros. (CS Koji Kondo, AS Koji Kondo)
A02 – Underground Theme – Super Mario Bros. (CS Koji Kondo, AS Kentaro Ishizaka)
A03 – Underwater – Super Mario Bros.
A04 – Easton Kingdom – Super Mario Land
A05 – Airship Fortress – Super Mario Bros. 3
A06 – Castle Boss Fortress – Super Mario World aka SMB3
A07 – Title and Ending – Super Mario World (AS Shota Kageyama)
A08 – Main Theme – New Super Mario Bros.
A09 – Luigi’s Mansion Medley – Luigi’s Mansion
but yeah, much faster than editing them all yourself…
require ‘FileUtils’
include FileUtils
require ‘rubygems’
require ‘id3lib’
f = File.new("tracklist.txt")
tracks = {}
begin
while (line = f.readline)
line.chomp
# line [6..-1] == trackname
# line [0..2] == "old number" (like A01)
trackname = line[6..-1].chomp
tracks[line[0..2]] = trackname
end
rescue EOFError
f.close
end
Dir.foreach("./mp3") do |song|
# skip . and ..
if song.index(".") == 0 then next end
# tag song
tag = ID3Lib::Tag.new("./mp3/"+song)
tag.title = tracks[song[0..2]]
tag.album = "Super Smash Bros. Brawl"
tag.artist = "Various Artists"
tag.update!
# [songname].mp3
FileUtils.mv("./mp3/"+"#{song}", "./mp3/Super Smash Bros Brawl – #{tracks[song[0..2]]}.mp3")
end
You’ll recieve things like this:
Super Smash Bros Brawl – Star Wolf – Star Fox Assault.mp3
Super Smash Bros Brawl – Mii Channel.mp3
Super Smash Bros Brawl – Bob-Omb Battlefield – Super Mario 64.mp3
apologies if this is the wrong place to post this
Second: When you have time, could you please re-upload the Japanese Pit and Donkey Kong voice collections, as well as the Galleom SFX collection and the other AT pack?
You’re already my hero, so I can’t complain if you don’t – but it’d make you even more awesome if you could. ๐

I was looking for Dedede’s Final Smash jingle. You know, the song that plays when Waddle Dees/Doos and Gordos are raining down? Can you get that by chance?
Yes, I’ve checked every audio data I have – and it’s the complete sound library.
If not I could rename mine all and give a filelist of them named as such.
The triforce has been found
See, THIS picture is awesome!! Nintendo’s princesses united in the Triforce. XD
"
Could someone try re-encoding/reuploading that one file? It’s the only one that seemed to do this.
And I love the screenshot posts ๐
No.
a.) FileFactory does NOT fail. It’s the best hosting site available now. And yes, I’m a very militant devotee of FileFactory. But only because it IS the best hosting site.
b.) I don’t really feel up to load 70 FREAKING FILES up AGAIN. Excuse me while I go to vomit.
You know, at Sendspace I once had to wait full 4 hours to get to a file. The waiting time at FileFactory is actually only when the servers are used a lot – I hardly have cases in which I had to actually wait.
Heh, thanks for the backup there. And as long as someone says 15 minutes waiting time are fail and that FileFactory sucks, I won’t do them any favor. But as I’m the admin of the SFX, here Rayquaza again.
You spend way too much time listening to these sound effects outside of the game. Honestly, you’re barely going to notice the SFX while you’re playing. You should just wait until the PAL release, because if you’re relying on Datel and the Freeloader you’re not going to be enjoying your games for long. Nintendo is known for updating there system software to lockout such things. Besides don’t you want the European release so you can go back and get the sounds for all the characters in 5 different languages? =P
I can confirm !
Honestly girl, are you going to sit there and listen to the voices? Or are you going to beat the hell outta your opponent? what’s more important? Winning or listening to a few one liners that barely make any difference in the gameplay at all?
You get used to them after a while.
Hell even at first I was used to the japanese, but I heard the american out of context and it sounded odd, but when i played the game, I enjoyed them so much more.
Honestly I think you are going a bit over the top with that..it may be a personal preference but it’s really silly. Ears bleeding because you think the voices sound bad? Please give me a break ๐
It is your opinion reguardless of the matter what you choose to do is your choice but yeah I would wait to the PAL release because nintendo could eventually lock out the stuff ya know.
No I WILL NOT wait for the PAL release. I don’t want to wait to play Brawl until late Summer. Excuse me.
To own the Japanese version would be pretty nice to me, as I’m a collector anyhow, and Datel WILL try to not get let itself locked out of the console. Honestly.
And if it happens, I doubt it will be before the PAL-release of Brawl… and then I can get it cheap over ebay. It’s not like I wouldn’t have thought through that scenario.

How bout this..get both? XD
So I would wait it out and save yourself the trouble. It’s almost April and the game gets released the beginning of June. That’s only two months, so find something else to play.
I understand your enthusiasm, but take a break from this game for a bit, you haven’t even played it yet and you’ve just about extracted every bit and byte of data from the disc and tagged and packed all the sound clips into neat little packages.
Find another game to play or something else to do in general. Quit worrying about the SFX and just relax.
– my two cents of advice
No, it won’t be released in June. If it was released in June, I would be very surprised. I actually predict it into late July to August, and even then I’m not sure if we’ll get it before Christmas. I know Nintendo of Europe.
I can understand where you are coming from because of all the hype, I wanted the game pretty badly myself, but now that I have it, it’s like whatever. I’d be pissed at myself if I spent a bunch of money just to get this game before it was released in my region. I’ve played much better games than this, and I really don’t think it’s worth a bunch of importing and region-free software that will (if it hasn’t already) been locked out by Nintendo.
Trust me, Datel doesn’t keep up-to-date on this stuff. Even if they do Nintendo is always a few steps ahead. I had ordered the lastest version of Action Replay for Wii and they removed the ability to add your own codes. (A feature that has been present from the days of Game Genie) There products consistantly get locked out, but they don’t care because they already have your money. If you want a newer version you’ll have to buy it again, but it’s a waste because Nintendo will lock it out with the next update. It’s a vicisous cycle.
There are definitely better games/franchises out there. If there weren’t than the roster for this game would be insignificant. It’s the fact that all of these successful series/franchises are coming together and lending there characters/stages/music to the game that makes it’s unique. If I wasn’t such a whore for unlocking/completing things, I’d probably be playing something else now. =P
Oh ok. Thanks

Not true in the bolded part, I live in texas and I can play with my friend in scotland with ZERO lag.
I configured my net, so I have ZERO lag.

^He was here with us in this fight.
For your information: I did NOT search out the English names… seeing as I don’t like the Pokemon franchise and this would’ve been too much work for me (I have other things to do, as well, you know), I bestow upon you the filles tagged with "Pokeball US", however, the names of the Pokemon… you’ll have to look up yourself.
Also, I will update Petey, Ganon and Galleom…
Nope
Impossible to have no lag unless you’re playing with someone same console. Data doesn’t travel over the internet instantly.
Well apparently it IS possible because that is RANDOM
No one else lives here but my parents.
A lost track that nobody’s posted, odd enough.
Celebrate!
Oh shit, thanks man! I don’t know how you can miss this one :S
A lost track that nobody’s posted, odd enough.

That was bloody brilliant enough to warrant my first post.
Keep up the great work here guys. You deserve every bit of praise you receive.
To each their own.
My thread is more organized, offers individual track downloads, is tagged according to the information presented in the game both by title and the artist who arranged each track. Everything is also organized the way it appears in the sound test, though any extra files are also offered as well. Oh and all of my tracks loop once, as I found when each track looped twice it was either way too long, very noticiable, or irritating (mostly an issue with vocal tracks). Skunk seems to be primairly concerned with providing SFX.
Well, Chernabogue is the admin of the music and he has tagged the tracks correctly as you posted long time ago… I just wasn’t really in the mood to change the tracklist. =P
I agree with you on the vocal tracks, though – ‘specially Calling to the Night.
I disagree. Skunk thread is as organized as yours, if not better.
Besides that, in my opinion, all the tracks, including the vocal ones, must loop twice. All good official gaming soundtracks loop twice, I don’t know why Brawl should be any different.Individual track downloads is a interesting feature, but not very necessary.
You can say that your thread is different, but it’s not better than Skunk, as you seem to show.

I completely disagree. No offense to Skunk, but I put a great deal of time into organizing my thread. All of the tracks names are listed very plainly beisdes the track numbers. None of the FileFactory links are shown outright, which conceals lots of useless information. For most of the packs I have two different mirrors and it very visable which link goes to where.
Official soundtracks do not loop vocal tracks twice, they play once and it ends, just like a mainstream CD by any artist.
Individual track downloads may not be a necessary feature for you, but they are getting a signifigant amount of hits ever since I put them up.
Let’s not argue because of something minor like that – both threads are good as they are and both starters did their part of the work in tagging/naming/etc. in the starting Big Smash Bros. Thread. We’re friends, not enemies. Right?
Also, I will change the links in the first post, but I will do that when I’ve got nothing to do here at work and am alone or later at home, we’ll see.
Also, a note, Halo’s official game soundtracks never loop more than once and it’s probably one of the most tolerable listens in my opinion.
I prefer tracks looped twice, if my input matters. I DO question your labeling of Calling to the Night looping as irritating. ๐ That’s probably my favorite song in the whole game.
Also, extreme thanks for the sound effects. I’ve been toying with the idea of making some song remixes and using the sfx in them, perhaps.
You mean like THIS one using Kirby’s Falcon Pawnch! (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xNvbPzSTpPI) ?
BTW, cool Ike stage.

Haha yeah thanks, I was bored XD
DO YOU FIGHT FOR YOUR FRIENDS!?
Yeah, sort of the idea actually, but not with the original music and with my own arrangements. That video’s awesome.

BTW, Skunk, what’s next on the ripping que?
EDIT: Nvmnd, that’s not cutscene music, that’s a Sudden Death match. I feel stupid.
This is the filename "Voice – Samus & ZS Samus.rar"
Where do you see no .rar?
@goku: Actually I’m supposed to work on them, but I’m not really motivated, seeing how people hardly say thanks and only demand for more and more and things I can’t provide.

How do you make videos to gif form??

Well the only ones i need are snake’s attack SFX and Sonic’s attack SFX (clean) that would help greatly!
time isnt an issue so you can get to them when you can. thank you skunk for everything you’ve done!
Are they available?
Are they available?
I only deleted files which were actually empty. And if there’s not the file you’re looking for then it simply doesn’t exist.
Edit: And people like you are the reason I’m not continueing to work on the rest of the SFX. People who demand not available things, despite having one or two posts. I could say several swearings to you and your kind now, but I’m holding back.
(sarcasm)
EDIT: k sry the internet borke, upload dat too
What a marvelous collaboration you have set up here. This thread grows larger by the day. The thread’s, or the members’, really, resources amaze me. It is so amazing at how we can ban together, and share what we have to others who do not. You did well, Skunk. Great work; I must applaud you, what a resourceful lady! I am pleased that you are taking time from your busy schedule to provide us media from one of Nintendo’s finest creations. I do hope that you do not feel that your work goes unappreciated. Thank you so much! おやすみなさい!

I sorta wonder if posting that link is grounds for a ban if taken the wrong way.

@Jace:
Although it’s actually pretty silly and low, I had to grin… Poor Captain Falcon. ZSS is too much for him.

Why?! D:
<a href=”http://www.videogamescrapbook.com/album.php?id=smash_brawl_!_vault”>
Direct mp3 downloads and torrent (http://www.videogamescrapbook.com/album.php?id=smash_brawl_!_vault)
Unlike the other rips available online, this uses vgmstream, the successor to the in_cube plugin. That means you WON’T get small pops at some of the loop points (such as Luigi’s Mansion at 1:30). Besides a direct disc to vbr mp3 conversion, this also features a super extensive assortment of tags:
The titles are exactly as they appear in the game, accompanied by official OST titles in the comments (especially handy for the medleys)
In the Grouping tag is the game from which the song comes from.
The composers for nearly every song are given.
If you sort by year, you can see which songs were arranged for Brawl.
The vocal songs feature lyrics along with line by line translations.
Every track has different album art, a relevant screenshot from the official smashbros website.
If it does I’ll probably just change it to Composer because I’d rather have that than a tag like Nintendo, but otherwise it’s looking nice. I got your first pack and was hoping for a pack by pack basis to spread it out a bit ๐

Yes, those tracks are marked Nintendo since that is as close as it’s going to get, unless Nintendo ever does release an OST or does another live concert. I really hope they do. That reminds me, I found out the arrangers that people didn’t know about for most of the Melee tracks by an image scan of Smashing Live. I really have combed the Internet in making these albums.
And sorry about chucking it at you all at once! ๐
Again, I must say thank you for what you have completed thus far.
Please finish the attacking sounds Skunk!
Also, I figured out a way to record some sounds. I ripped all the Primid sounds but I have to separate them from the big sound file. If I do put them up, will you accept them(also, they are really good quality)?
And I still need some rest from working on this game.
The sound file for the pokemon trainer.
It’s not a .RAR
In fact, it doesn’t even seem to have a file extension…
How do I use it to get the sounds?… Do I need a certain program?….

Why not release one huge sound pack?
This way you would only have one file to deal with instead of dozens of these little character packs.
See, those people are the MAIN Reason. -.-
But it’s not complete.
And what main reason? >:O
And the main reason is people who:
Ask for things which are not possible to give
Ask for things which actually already are there
Demand things, although they only have one post.
Get pissy because a download link is broken or the server is on maintenance or anything else.

If that’s true then explain the missing attack and final smash sfx?
the final smashes have more than voice to them (e.g. lucario’s aura storm).
Plus I see a upcoming list at the bottom of said complete list and it has several brawl related items on it that aren’t listed. All i wanted was lucario’s final smash sfx.
And before you tell me to get it myself out of anger and stress, I will tell you early that I CAN’T because I have TRIED. My laptop is too sensitive to the sound input jack, no matter what I try I always get a overly loud and distored capture.

thank you for reuploading btw.
thank you for reuploading btw.
I have no idea. They probably are hidden somewhere in the stage data, however, I wasn’t able to find the music which plays at Luigi’s Negative Zone, etc., as well. I guess they’re somewhere in the actual data of the stages or characters, not in their soundfiles.
Did you see my link above?
I didn’t yell it at you about it did I?
I do need those though, and the Attack SFX sould be good as well.
Thanks a Bunch!
Edit: Wait, does this mean you’re going back to ripping the sounds, Skunk?
I downloaded everything but it seems that the soundtrack is missing a couple of Melee themes like battlefield and a few others.
Nah, unlikely. Only a few small things maybe.
@cylex: I have no idea. That was Chernabogue’s field, not mine.

I don’t mind the double looping, either. If you ever do find those missing sounds, that’d be great! Especially Negative Zone…I love playing as Luigi! Heh~

-_- I don’t have the game yet, it’s just a YouTube rip. Nobody did this before and as everybody asked for it, so I decided to rip it. It’s better than nothing. And if you’re not happy, rip it yourself.
Can you re-up Peach and Pikachu Please? Thanks in Advance and thanks for the others I have Downloaded already.
I lost my chance when you last reupped them.
If it’s not too much trouble, that is.
Would you mind re-uping pkmn. trainer japanese? Also whats up with pkmn. trainer US’s .rar file its in some unknown file format?
thank you skunk.
I hate to be a bother, but there are a couple broken links there that would be really helpful if you could upload them again.
Fox – English
Ike – English
Meta Knight – English
Diddy Kong
Olimar
Pikachu
Zelda
Wolf
EDIT: I also forgot about these ones which may or may not be useful… but if it’s not too much trouble…
Master and Crazy Hand
Galleom
Ridley, Meta Ridley, Falcon Flyer
Petey Piranha
Porky
Also, the Samus one seems to lack sound effects, except for the Zero Suit Samus ones… any obvious reason for that?
I also noticed that you didn’t have most of the narrator’s voices. Do you have all of them?
If you could upload one or some of those, that would be great, thank you so much! =D

Those sounds are not tagged though.
And I have to state that I’m getting rather annoyed with people bursting into my business.
Fine. Give them your sounds. I’m done here.
Hope you are happy now.
Filename for PT US: "Voice – Pokemon Trainer & Pokemon US.rar"
Haha.. stupid me. All I had to do was add the extension myself.
Excuse my incompetence.
And I have to state that I’m getting rather annoyed with people bursting into my business.

Just so you know, I’m sure the majority of us appreciate all the work you’ve put in for us here. I know I do.
I’d rather have it shown on the front page as I’m sure it previously was … makes it easier for people to find them.
But your decisions are your own. But thank you for all I’ve gotten from you so far. I’ll be sure not to forget it anytime soon. You’re a generous person with a good, selfless heart. We need more people like you.
Or is the process too long and complicated to give a nutshell reply to?… if that’s the case, don’t worry about it. I guess I can read up tutorials and learn, just like you did. Hahaha.
I come bearing U.S. version Brawl track names. That’s right–these are OFFICIAL! I will only post the portions of the track(s) that need to be changed, i.e. either title/game or composer/artist. Some edits are simply removing/adding things like a hyphen or a space, or even just moving around a period; but to someone who takes their music library very seriously–like myself, those are important details. ๐

The soundtrack is an incredible, incredible "greatest hits" of everything past and present Nintendo, and even other game companies, etc, and every single track feels like it’s been produced and performed to it’s utmost. And the end result is breathtaking for a "compilation", let alone a game. So a huge thank you to all of the composers and artists as well of course. ๐ Not a single note of your work has gone unappreciated in my eyes (well, ears).
Thanks again to the people on this forum though that put in the time to fully collate and tag this. That’s real dedication.
And now, to Brawwwwl!

This is the last part I understood, the rest of the post is cryptical to me.
At all others, I still have no intentions of rebuilding the Sound-section, since galanedsword hasn’t apologized.

"Hey skunk my first time on the forums and i wanted to say thx for the brawl VFX and SFX.I have been dieing to get these VFX and SFX for a while but most of the links are not working. Instance lucas and ness olimar and how come on the 1st page where its says sound collection i can get all the sound Track but not the sound effects and voice effects. the reason why im after them is because im making a game of smash bros and would like to have the original Effect to make it perfect. i will make sure u r credited for each voice clip also can u post the toon link VFX because i’ve been dieing for that one for a long time.
P.S. can you tell me where to get all the voice effects you uploaded as the links seem dead? please that will be so helpful and once again u will be credited for each sound FX and VXF."
and would you except a apology from a lowly poster such as my self in place of galanedsword? i would be willing to do so as i think this thread is very useful and should be seen for its full potentail

I wish galanedsword would apologize because these are amazing sounds with great quality. Ugh how come one person has to ruin it for everyone.

alright Sherlock is back on the case whooooo hoooooooo!!!
Yay! ^__^
I finally got me to remove the dummy sounds from the SFXs of all characters and readying them for upload. I didn’t tag them, but I doubt that would be necessary.
However: Link, Pit and Meta Knight have different filenames than the other characters, and a few of their dummy sounds had not the same filesize than the "usual" dummy sounds. You most likely will find empty sound data in their SFX-folders.
Edit:
Mediafire links provided.
GYAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What ELSE do you people need to FINALLY see that I’m a GIRL?! >_<
Anyway, as a last update, I’ve made the SSE-enemies.

But thank you very very much
Thank you so much! =D
I appreciate it a lot, and you will definitively receive credit in the game I am making.
Thanks again!
(PM me if you would like to be credited differently than simply "Sherlock")

Sherlock he was just thanking you for the SFX as he needed them for the game he is making and he said he will give credit for them in the credits ^_^

Ummm i don’t mean to sound as if i’m not satisfied does that mean the kirby hats sounds won’t (or couldn’t) be ripped?
I know what he was saying, still he said "man" <_<

There was only the Falcon PAWNCH to be found.
Thanks for uploading the SFX & VFX Sherlock
I really appreciate it
Also, note that there is background music in these codecs, and, since there’s no chance in changing that, the !-alert is sometimes in, as well.
Snake Codecs are now downloadable. Hooray.
Also, note that there is background music in these codecs, and, since there’s no chance in changing that, the !-alert is sometimes in, as well.
and thank you for the codecs ^_^
Unfortunately… I need them ALL, too, because I can’t unlock all the music, and, even though I know of some stage themes I want/like, there might be more stage themes I might like, so, I need them ALL.
Can someone help me out here and/or point me in the right direction to where I can find JUST the stages themes? And ALL of them?
Thanks.
The whole music except the packages "Subspace Emissary" and "Short Clips" are (or at least include) ALL themes in My Music.
As my friend Sherlock said it, I’ll upload the music here.
The songs have been tagged by me and the titles may not be exactly the same that in the first post.

Thanks.
Thanks.
But Metroid and Kid Icarus are still down.
Please fix them ASAP, okay? Thanks.
Both Metroid and Kid Icarus-files are there and available, however, just because the server has no more slots for YOU this doesn’t mean it’s down.
First. Post.
READ IT.
Like… I don’t know… megaupload or sendspace?
Thanks.
Can someone here who has already been able to download the Metriod and Kid Icarius files upload them onto megaupload and/or sendspace so I can finally get them?
Thanks.
So… yeah…
And by the way, I’ve said it in the proper thread, but it can’t hurt to say it here too.
All links of the Lost Tracks for Brawl are down, and the main page says the following:

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Anyone got any idea why?
And can someone please fix it?
Thanks ???_???
The Metroid file is broken for me, too. And it’s not the FileFactory slot
Or is it something else? The site says the link is down because of an "unexpected hardware failure", and I can’t understand what they mean by it.
And it can’t possibly be the slot, since the Metroid link can’t even be opened, let alone see any available slots for it.
There’s a total of 26 tracks. There’s track 11, Tournament End, and 13, Classic Result Screen.
And no track 12.
Is it missing, or there never was in the first place, Classic Result Screen was supposed to be 12 and so the rest of them, that continue to go up from 14 to 27?

If you would read the POSTS, then you’d maybe realize that these missing tracks are missing, as Nintendo has removed them – all of these numbers missing in all kinds of packs.
The music has been directly ripped out of the game. There is nothing in there which is left, and noone has forgotten to add a track to it. They are NOT THERE.

double edit: wow. "I’m too slow!" -_- I see. I hope it fixes itself up then. I gave em feedback on it so they should see that eventually.

I thought I was going to have to settle with Melee SFX’s and then I found these ๐ Let the music making commence! AND they’re all seperate! I would’ve had to chop up the Melee files.

Have you tried re-downloading the file? *sigh* Why do people always have to DEMAND even if they get shit for free and aren’t able to ASK KINDLY?
The files are all fine for me.
I downloaded the files twice with my N95, and it somehow couldn’t extract the .wav-files right…
I downloaded them with my computer again, and they worked. Thank you.
Just wondering, is the sound when a character is killed (well, offscreen) in one of the packs? I cant find it.
Thank you again, sorry if the answer is really obvious >_>

You dumb fuckers, seriously. I want to kill that guy who made it.
Also, did we ever figure out the composer for Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast?

The Fox Falco and Wolf one doesnt work is it the media fire that there sound effects are on or the first one or both
?
You mean which name the sound effect has? I dunno, it’s probably among the Specials. Try them out. It’s not like you’ll take ages to do so.
For example, in the game’s sound test there is an echo behind most of the final smash sayings and in the voice packs (like it says) its just the voice. So I guess what I am ultimately asking is if there is a way to get the voices with the echo sampling behind them or a way to put that behind it that I may be able to do myself.
Namely, if it matters, I was looking to get a hold of "Great Aether", "PK Starstorm" – Lucas, and "We’re gonna have fun with this thing" in a mp3 format. Sorry if this was asked before and I just looked over it.
does anyone have this? I’ve been looking all over the internet for it, but i can’t find a working download
i think it’s by basil
it came in vbr and flac, either or is good
it was coupled with his quite definitive brawl OST game rip, and debuted on Gamemp3.net

So, expect it not too long… (never), because I’m not going to bother.
If there are no seeds what’s the point?

I was hoping someone who already had it or knew how to get it would provide a dld link, I’m well aware the torrents are dead
there were some dld links, some even on this site, but theye were megaupload
Sorry for the Necrobump, but does this rip in question have the Lost Tracks as well.
Edit: Nevermind, I checked and they are not there and the link to the Lost Tracks (EditorArtist.Com, I believe) causes my Anti-Virus to flare up…..unless it was a false positive or something.
The link located at FileFactory Folder View – Chernabogue54’s Brawl Rip (http://www.filefactory.com/f/477cec178988b845/) is missing more than half of the folders… I know it’s a big request, but whosoever can re-upload it would have my eternal gratitude.
