Devil May Cry 4 Original Soundtrack [320kbps]

Hey guys, here’s the "Devil May Cry 4 Original Soundtrack" which came out about a month ago now. I’ve seen a few threads containing the OST already but have seen many complaints regarding the bitrate and tagging of the music so I’ve decided to upload my version of the OST. I also wanted to make a more eye appealing (if you call this eye appealing) thread compared to the others so it could be easier to navigate and more informative (because I hate downloading stuff that has little to no information/descriptions given).

Thanks for the upload, but you shouldn’t have used megaupload for it. They’ll delete your links in no time.

What would you prefer? And is it free?

Megaupload actually keeps my links fairly often…the important thing is to 1) rename your files and descriptions to something innocuous, 2) use an anonymizer or hxxp (to force people to copy-paste instead of direct link)

Other services…the best are file distributors such as Sharebee and MassMirror, I’ve found. Sendspace expires too quickly and Mediafire tends to delete links a lot more often than Megaupload.

Ok, you used ‘innocuous’ in the wrong context but I know what you mean. I was thinkin about changing the folder name to something funky but I didn’t (probably cause it was past my bed time and I was tired). And you’re gonna have to run that anonymizer thing by me again. I have no idea what that is and I don’t upload OSTs very frequently so I don’t know much about file sharing. I read in the sticky that the most preferred file sharing site is megaupload so I used it.

I will look into Sharebee and MassMirror when I get some free time but right now I’ve got some welfare research to do.

Well, it will eventually. All free file sharing sites eventually delete links after a specified amount of time or if nobody downloads it for a long time. Megaupload used to be the top choice because of it’s large file size limit and the reasonable buffer period between the time someone uploads a file and the time it expires. Then they started cracking down on anime and video game music uploads for violating their terms of service.

A lot of the filefactory links I’ve come across are still active even after months have passed. That doesn’t mean they’ll never delete them; I’m not sure when the expiry date is. All I can say is that they are not currently actively removing links for anime and video game music, and that’s better than megaupload. Doesn’t mean it’ll never happen; it’s just not happening now.

You’re welcome. I love the game as well. I’ve been a fan since the first and I must say, I have not been disappointed yet (although DMC2 wasn’t all that exciting). Capcom really knows how to keep a game from dying (like the Monster Hunter series, for example).

I’m sure they uploaded it at such a crappy quality to quicken the upload process so they could have more time to do whatever it was they were doing. That is such a lame excuse for uploading game music at low quality. I could be wrong though -don’t want to sound biased. They might not have been an audiophile (not that I am) so that’s also probably why they uploaded it at 128. I don’t know, I’m rambling…

But anyway, I don’t mind 128kbps either and it seems to be the standard for, pretty much, all music in the world (who knows?) but I would also prefer higher quality. The difference is sometimes very clear to hear.

Yeeap, that’s what I planned on doing. I think the only sucky thing about uploading to FileFactory is that it takes foooorever. It took me an hour to upload the 96mb Armored Core 4 OST.

Also, why does everyone wine about Megaupload? I’ve come across 30 dead links from Megaupload in my time. (20 were uploaded at relatively the same time (Sarah’s DDR Megathread)). I just don’t like the daily limit. But 25 seconds of wait is way shorter than most places.

Would it be possible for you to upload on another site? I live in turkey and megaupload is blocked. I tried using Ktunnel but I couldnt click on download…

I tried Rapidshare but the files would never upload. When it hit the 100% mark it would stay there indefinitely and would not give me a link to the files.

Are you able to access FileFactory downloads?

I can use FileFactory, but its not ideal. I sometimes seem to get caught in some ‘waiting for free spots’ or something for what seems like hours.

However, once I start downloading it comes here no problems.

Would Netload be possible perhaps?
