Guilty Pleasures?

Now, there are some songs on my computer that I would normally never admit to listening too. I like to call them my ‘guilty pleasures’ because they are rather fun and catchy but not ones I would normally ever admit to listening too. Anyone else have ‘guilty pleasures’?

I absolutely adore Madonna. I like a few Prince songs too.

Two other songs that I like listening too once-in-awhile:
Bed – J Holiday and Bounce – Timbaland.
In fact, there are a few mainstream catchy rap/hip-hop songs that I like listening too; especially while getting ready to go out. Good moving music.

I agree with that.j holiday is really good.Soulja boy has catchy songs but there just good for a laugh to me. I love timbo,and I really like madonnas 007 song…

Nelly Furtado would be one of mine. Also, kneg, ashlee simpson is great. I still like pieces of me the most. But her singing " you make me wanna la la " got me all exited. 🙂

Ha ~ for awhile Paramore was a guilty pleasure of mine, but I have admitted to liking them.

I’m basically open about all the music I listen too. I used to be embarrased about my blatant love for everything country, especially Alan Jackson and Buck Owens, but I’m a better man for admitting it.

Im proud of all my music, all but one song, just one song.

It’s true! I don’t think anyone should be embarrassed about ANYTHING they like. No matter how mainstream it is and no matter how many others knock it. Everyone’s taste is different and that’s totally fine. For a while I was bashful to admit I was branching out and liking more than metal shit, but fuck that, I don’t need anyone’s permission to enjoy whatever music I derive pleasure from. People should really be more tolerant of that. I can’t stand when I see assholes judging others for listening to whatever they don’t like personally. It’s childish and close minded.

Well, Paramore’s the only band which is a guilty pleasure for me, seeing as I find it horrible music per say, yet, I like listening to it. Not really ashamed of it, I just both hate and love it. o_0

All the other poprock bands like Paramore: I like some, and those that I like, I don’t both hate it and love it. @_@

I also like a bit of Dragnoforce now and again.

FOB, all of Linkin Park’s stuff, Midtown, Mest, Nickleback, AFI…..basically any emo band and non metal rock to put it more into perspective.

One guilty pleasure I might have is Hikaru Utada’s stuff from Kingdom Hearts (Sanctuary and Simple & Clean). I’m not really into J-Pop so it’s mostly nostalgia, I guess.

Tracy’s music is nothing to feel ashamed about. She’s a highly respected artist, and her music is pretty amazing. You can feel ashamed of a lot of singers, but Tracy is NOT one of them.
