So does anyone have any suggestions. I need to get to draguerro in what was it, like 16 or 18 hours or something like that?
I guess I’m not really sure how to approach this but since this is my favorite game I decided I should go for it.
Oh, sorry. You are right. I got a little bit mixed up there for some reason. I’ve changed everything now but I meant Excalibur 2.
This will probably help you: http://youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7C21A6F5C05D3F2D
Oh, ok. I was a bit confused myself there for a second.
I believe the game has to be finished by 10 hours or 12 hours the latest. All I know is that you should keep battles short, summon animations short, and skip through dialouge as often as possible. I would think the only things that could run at full are the fmv’s in the game.
I never done this before, so my word is probably no good.
If I want to get to lich in time I will probably be skipping all my unneccesary battles. And do every battle as fast as possible, planning out the best way to do everything.
But still I will try very hard and hope Iake it.
Just an idea =D it might take longer though depending on your luck, and theres a chance of something going wrong since its a glitch =D. But those visual guides on youtube show you how to get Excalibur 2 correctly and normally, even showing the required time finish at each interval.
Anyway… good luck to you =)
Although yes, letting the clock run over 100 hours doesn’t work :p
I don’t know if you got mixed up by the title, but Shock is taught by the Ragnarok, which you get with one of those pepper things on a chocobo, I think. The only point to getting Excalibur II is that Steiner does an excessively powerful physical attack; if you put enough effort into the game to get it, you might as well have spent the game mastering Thievery, Frog Drop, and Dragon Crest, which all can do 9999 damage through any defense for a small amount of MP.
Yeah, I don’t consider Excalibur II to be worth it at all.
Skipping the FMV’s definately seems necessary. I tried to print out a list for myself which someone made. It pretty much tells you how much time you should be at each part in the game. I am doing it so I never go over those times but if I have trouble somewhere and in the end get a little over 12 hours I’ll try this. even if it doesn’t work as Hawkeye_1138 and meltigemini say. it’s worth a try. If you say you did it maybe i can too.
As for the running over 100 hours I’m sorry there I was a bit confused, I was thinking about getting the master synth down in the underwater area in memoria to forge save the queen…that does work because that I have done, weather it works for the excalibur II I don’t know it’s the only thing in the game I think I didn’t get.

Well that’s all right about not having exceeding 99 hours work. I guess it wouldn’t be a challenge if they made it like that.
I got Excalibur II some years ago, when I had much time (still have but I prefer to spend it more wisely). It will take you some great amount of willpower, this may be good for the real life but the reward of getting Excalibur II is not very impelling once you get it. You will miss some other stuff along the way; there will be not so much of a comfortable experience. A WHOLE LOT of restarting the game (if you for example got into battles or made a mistake). Anyway, there is a bit of pride after the accomplishment nevertheless. ^__^
I missed the time with five minuets first (you have no idea how that felt) but I started again from some place in Memoria and got it though with a minute from failure. Under 12:00 hours.
You will need a guide, or you will have no chance what so ever. Even with guide its difficult. You need to stop the disc in the movie sequences and stay away from battles as mentioned. It will be real hard and frustrating for the impatience.
I love this game and I am pretty much as the people describing the one going thought this. Except for retarded and all the pessimistic stuff ๐
I will also point out the reason why I did get Excalibur II; it was the urge of life seeking fuller fulfilment that worked through me, merely. Hehe. I nowadays prefer the fulfilment in real life.
