I’m just saying, it’s not really fair to judge him on his reactions to being messed with. I mean, anyone will admit that when you’re trying to play a game and someone keeps shutting it off or resetting it, you’re going to get agitated. It’s just a common reaction. But the difference between someone who is mentally challenged and someone who is not, is the latter person is able to keep calm and under control whereas the former doesn’t know any better.

Granted I don’t know any of those people in the video and for all I know the mentally challenged guy is normally a dick and he deserved this. There’s also the flip side where the store employees are just assholes who pick on the mentally challenged. Hell, the video could be scripted, but my moral grounds cause me to lean towards the "you’re a pussy for picking on the mentally challenged" since I saw no prior cause for "Shane" to do so.

He’s not mentally challenged. Even I know that. Just because he talks slow doesn’t mean he is. If he was, then it would normally be a normal reaction for the Tattooed Man to not hit him. I have mentally challenged family members from down syndrome to ones that have some kind of brain damage so they now think and act as a 4 year old. My sister-in-law talks slow because she used to stutter when she was younger. And because she talks more slower, she no longer stutters and so that’s her normal way of talking.

If I was Shane and I knew the dude that threw a punch at me was mentally ill, I would just push them off me and have someone else constrain him. If he wasn’t, then I’d lay down the hurt. Simple as that.

Not all mentally challenged people act/think like 4 year olds. Some can think like adults but lack the functionality.

Also just because you would act a certain way does not mean that is how every single person on the face of the planet will react.

But the big difference is that he isn’t at his house or a friends house, he is at a game store. There is no reason why he should get that bent out of shape over using a stores game system. If someone was doing that to me I would just be like "Fuck this, Im getting outta here" and that’s it. Not throwing punches. Also I do not beleive he is mentally challenged, just a little too into video games… that’s all.
