I know you can win the lost cards back from the guy in the artist room, but… the six cards she makes appear somewhere in the world exclusive to this sidequest, is there a way to know who has them without using a walkthrough or a FAQ? Or do you just have to be lucky and guess, because I mean, of all the card players there could possibly be who don’t even always use that card, it would seem like a hell trip to play everyone in the world 10 times to see if they have it, surely there is not some sort of in-game clue?
Or is this like the Zodiac Spear in XII where they have no in-game clues not to get the chests and no in-game clues about the random 1/1000 chest making it virtually impossible to get via any logical thinking without a guide? Do you just have to have a lucky guess and keep eliminating all 298779463874 people in the FF8 world who play cards?
Good, seems that we both agree.
Where the FUCK does she go exactly, when she says ”Centra”?
AFAIK, there’s no population there…
None of the guides say where exactly, heck, they won’t even mention Centra!
WTF is this?
It’s like when I bought FFX-2, they actually suggested in the shop that I buy the strategy guide with it. I didn’t of course, thinking it’s stupid to buy a guide at the same time as the game, it’d take the fun out of it. But once I’d played through it once, I found myself looking for guides to getting 100%. I think it’s a similar thing here. They probably actually wanted to put things like this in to encourage people to buy the official guide if they wanted to get a perfect game. It’s a bit redundant now though, with the internet and all. :p
