FFX Gillionaire

Just ran through restarting the FFX Gillionaire with Agent0042 and he’s given me the go ahead to start it. If you didn’t get involved with the previous one, here’s how it works.

Previous Players:
DreinIX – 0 Gil
RenaissanceInBlood – 0 Gil

15 questions, each one worth a different value of virtual money. As the money increases, so does the difficulty of the question. To help you reach that virtual million, you have 3 life lines:

50:50, which removes 2 wrong answers from the board
Search the Internet, allowing you to scour the communal knowledge base for your answer
Ask the Experts, a team of specially selected people who feel they have the required knowledge for the game.

There is also a time limit on giving your answers. If you do not answer within 24 hours, you forfeit your place on the hotseat, thus, opening the game for other players.

If someone makes a mistake, you can enter again, however, you cannot enter from where you left off. Say for example you get to 1000 Gil, and leave then, you have to start from the beginning again.

EDIT: Thanks The Master, I’ve been lurking for about 3 months now, and I’ve got 3 months of nothing to do thanks to the Uni holidays, so I thought I’d get it started.

It’s now been over 24 hours since the question was updated RenaissanceInBlood, thus, you forfeit the game, and go away with nothing. The hotseat is now open again for people to play.

Why should we care? All he’ll get if he wins is 5 second of glory reading "YOU’VE BECOME A GILLIONAIRE!" and then it’s on to the next contestant.

Of course it’s still pretty lame to cheat but there’s not much we can do to stop that, if he’s cheating, he’s cheating no one but himself.

You’ve got to the 300 Gil question, without having to use a lifeline, so for 300 Gil:

hm, kind of torn between A and C. But from what I can remember, I believe the correct answer is:
