Yeah so it’s basically a Guilty Gear update, but imo it has gotten cooler. I only liked two or three characters in GG and so far I like that many just out of the revealed characters for this. Also the pace of play looks more comfortable to me, I don’t like it when fighters get to MvC2 level insanity.
I also can’t get over how funny it is that it says "Rebel 1." It’s even more nonsensical than GG phrases like "roman cancel." And as we all know, nonsensical phrases in Japanese games are awesome.
I also can’t get over how awesome Noel is.
Provided I don’t miss.
Provided I don’t miss.
True but it’s not like it comes without sacrifice. If you fail…which you have a good chance of doing because it’s obvious you’re going to use it then you lose your tension for the remainder of that match.
Could you at least only flame people for no reason in GD? (translation: this is me telling you to not derail threads with flames outside of GD.)
Ah, the joys of the internet… You can virtually say anything and get away with it without having to worry about a fist smashing into your face :).
What implications? Is it fucking necessary to fully detail the entire post so a fucking child could understand it?
I love the fact that I can insta-KO anyone within 5 seconds of the match start.
Provided I don’t miss.
The hint is in bold. (translation: this WAS me telling you to use your brain and actually think for yourself)
I think it’s pretty obvious I’m implying only that there are drawbacks if I fail with the obliteration move. Maybe it’s too vague. I mean, missing has so meany different meanings. Especially in this context. Sorry, next time I’ll elaborate to the point where even Mooglemage could understand it.
I apologise that you had such a difficult time reading past that, TK.
You don’t "miss" insta-KO moves, you just don’t hit anyone with them because they suck. I’m not saying this matters, but I am saying it is not worth calling someone "fucktard" because they thought you didn’t realize that.
See, I know you like being antagonistic because this is the internet and all, and we let people do that in GD, but the problem is that if you start walking into threads like this one and calling people names because you’re having your period or whatever is going on, the threads suddenly change from discussion about a game or something to a discussion about exactly what it is that is stuck up your anus.
So, I’m serious. Don’t do it anymore. Especially not in this thread, where I’ll just delete anything else that derails it. From anybody.
Anything else derailing this thread (from anyone) will just get deleted.
Oh typical, "I get the last word" post.
I like how thread got insta-policed, yet the countless others don’t. Never figured you to be so full of yourself TK. =/
Edit: If you notice, TK, my initial post was semi on topic, about GG’s obliteration moves. I never had any intention to flame anyone until that one user came in and tried to flash his superior knowledge on the game. Sorry, but I dislike pretentious pricks.
But whever, carry on. Everyone knows you’re always right, TK.
Double Edit: Oh and you can "miss" as in you fire it and they move.
As a side note, the Hokuto no Ken game I’m talking about is made by the same guys that did Guilty Gear as well.
That being said, I know nothing about neither this game nor GG, so I could be completely wrong. This was just my impression from seeing the three vids.
edit:
I lol’d hard at the way the rounds (err, Rebels?) start. "The Wheel of Fate is Turning…Rebel 1…ACTION!" The "Action" with the accent was pretty neat, too.
"Heaven or Hell… Let’s Rock!"
el oh el
No obliteration moves, it seems.
Yes.
But, considering we’re on a message board devoted to Final Fantasy, I don’t see how this can be considered a bad thing?
Honestly, I don’t know that I’ll ever even play it, but I will definitely look forward to watching tournament battles. I don’t think I would play online. After Brawl I don’t think I’m ever going to play fighting games online again.
That said, I’d definitely buy it if it came out for Wii, but that’s probably wishful thinking.
Brawl online sucked because Sakurai doesn’t want people to, y’know, compete. It didn’t help that Ninty’s WFC isn’t worth a crap, either. Since I’m getting a 360 come Xmas, I may pick this up if it comes to consoles. While Brawl was a serious disappointment in terms of competitiveness, it did rekindle my love of fighters, especially 2-d fighters.
New Blazblue trailer, tis looking sharp
Welcome to posting at Shrine, though 🙂
