They never released an OST for Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald (All third version Pokemon games) so I highly doubt that Platinum will have one as well.

Hmm. I was half-expecting Arceus to have an alternate theme… but hey, Giratina’s theme works.

I bet they kept Arceus’s theme the same because they never gave out a single Azure Flute! Or a Member’s Pass… or an Oak’s Letter… Anyway, I’m not surprised. They probably STILL won’t give any of them out. (Watch, they will, just because I said that. ^.^)

Yeah… actually, Nintendo/Gamefreak haven’t mentioned and/or introduced Arceus yet to the public. Since Arceus is programmed into the game in DP and in Platinum, I think they will sometime this year or early next year.

I haven’t played the Japanese version of the game yet, but I am well-informed.

It is true that the Kanto Legendary Birds are all catchable in Platinum, however, I found NO music sequence in the game data similar to OR a Platinum remix of the "Battle! VS Legendary Birds" theme in Pokemon FRLG.

So, (Others, please correct me if I am wrong…) the battle theme the legendary birds use is the same one as Heatran and Cresselia’s.

Fair enough. They probably just meant it was something other than the regular wild battle music, then.

Sorry about that but, I don’t do Megaupload and Rapidshare. The upload speed and time there is way to slow for me (1-2kbps). Anyway, I tried the link and downloaded it myself, and yes, I also experience lagging.

If this continues tomorrow then I’ll have to upload it somewhere else (Mediafire, FileFactory, or 4shared perhaps).

But I just have like, one query or issue or sumthin. The first time I tried to download it, Badongo turned around and said I already downloaded shitloads of stuff from that address, so I should try again later or register. Second time, registered, tried again, it said the download should start automatically. Page was fully loaded, even waited 20 minutes, but nothing happened. x_x
I tried to do it from Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE and even SAFARI. Still nothing.

Does anyone have an idea of why this might be? I’m kinda lost here. ._.

Lol I know how that feels, catching every Pokemon in Platinum was just a bit tedious so in the end, I ended up trading the ones I needed from Diamond. xD

Yes, now that Platinum is out, the quality of the music compared here is drastically different (though, personally, I’ve become rather fond of these particular uploaded tunes). I expect someone may take it up sometime, just to have the more "accurate" versions of the themes up. There’re probably a couple versions of them on YouTube, though.

When you said "missing part", do you refer to the missing melodies? The music doesn’t sound as much as they sound in the game (some melodies are missing in some tracks) because this music is emulated and not ripped directly from the game… I don’t do "record the sound while playing" stuff.

Yes, I mean the missing melodies. The music sounds really off because of it, especially the Regis’ battle theme. If you KNEW that there were melodies missing, why didn’t you state that when you uploaded them?

By the way, I have a mini2sf rip of Pokemon Platinum’s exclusive tracks (as well as a few others from D/P). This rip is not missing any melodies. If anyone would be willing to convert it to mp3, I will gladly upload it so that it can be converted.

The rip I found (http://hcs64.com/2sf/Pokemon%20Platinum%20(2008)(Game%20Freak)(Nintendo ).zip) has several tracks that aren’t exclusive to Platinum, but as I said before, it’s in mini2sf format, not mp3. Why not just get a rip from Diamond and Pearl?

I didn’t say it had all the tracks. 😛 I would still appreciate it if someone could convert the mini2sf rip to mp3 format, or make a better quality mp3 rip than the one in the first post of this thread.

Actually, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Heatran, Darkrai, and possibly Regigigas all share the same battle theme. Shaymin’s battle theme is the same as all other Wild Pokemon. As before, Dialga & Palkia have their own theme song, as do Uxie, Agnome (Azelf), Emrit (Mesprit), Giratina and Arceus.

Next, you need to download the Pok�mon Platinum game rip that I did. Here’s a link (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nahnty3ukmz) for your convenience.

Put them all together and you have every music from the game (excluding sound effects, of course).

This is a nice soundtrack. It sounds very clear to as if it was the real ones out on CDs.

My computer keeps telling me it doesn’t know what program created it or something, and IDK what to do. Nothing to worry about, really. It’s pretty simple. You should be aware that the file you downloaded is not an MP3. It is an "archive" and it makes use of the .RAR file extension. All the files are compressed within it.

You will need a program called "WinRAR" to extract the files inside it. Simply Google it and download it for free.

Regarding the usage of the program, refer to the application’s help file. I also suggest that you go ask friends or people around you. I’m pretty sure most of them know what to do. I’m sorry I can’t help you with that, this isn’t a help thread.
