I just wanted to see the anime because it is from the same creator of Genocyber/bubblegum crisis and etc…. and… Takehito Nakazawa is the soundtrack composer. I loved is works on Bubblegum Crash and Genocyber.
so, before I would see this anime, I wanted the soundtracks first. 😀

The opening song to this series kicks ass…Classic series with old school cyberpunk overtones.

This is from the same creator of bubblegum crisis, ad police, genocyber, and others…
The people that maked the music were in all the other projects of him. Takehito Nakazawa (scramble wars, bubblegum crash, genocyber, Ad police*as identity crisis*), Toto Gentica (Ad Police)
There is great music in here. The vocal songs Kick Ass indeed.

I remember buying the old Animeigo VHS releases… Way back in 1993. LOVED Sooseiki–‘Zero’ o Samayou Tabibito he. That guitar just kicked severe ASS. Still does.

So much so that I resurrected an old stereo-sound ("Hi-Fi") VCR, connected an equalizer and pre-amp… Used Soundforge and recorded it on my PC.

I dare say that it sounded outstanding and that I might have had a knack for audio engineering… 🙂

I spent HOURS doing this! But the results were as good as you could expect from a VHS tape and some audio filters.

I also managed to track down some rips of the Laserdisc versions, believe it or not. I have them on my RAID server and cold storage backup (external HDD) for safekeeping. The anime is as awesome now as it was back then. ^_^

Hiii. I actually joined this forum while looking for a download of the soundtracks. If anyone knows how/where to get them anymore, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m in the same boat as DrRapture. I got the first OST back when you could still get it on mediafire and rapidshare, and it always upset me that the song that plays when Randis dies at the beastmasters hand wasn’t on there, y’know, with that sweet almost gothic sounding electric guitar. I think it plays during Ital’s fight with Barbarossa too. I didn’t even know that there was a second OST and I’m hoping that song is on there. In any case, if either soundtrack still exists somewhere on the web I would appreciate a lead.

Heh you got that right. Listening to it now and remembering just how good Takehito Nakazawa’s music was. He did rock like nobody’s business, between this, BGC and Genocyber.
