For some, LittleBigPlanet has already reached your hands (F you, garamond!), for other like me we still have until next week, for others – much longer. Either way I can already say the game is fun, addicting and full of win. It’s too bad the beta has ended because I never had so much playing a game.

And, OMG! Sephiroth and Old Snake will be in the game too!

Garamond, tell us how your adventure has been? Everytime I log into the PlayStation Network you’re playing LBP. You play hours a day and it’s making me sick. :p

Isnt this on the shelves already? You can try calling Gamestop…some may have already put it out for sale.

Yeah, I got the call yesterday that it would be available today.

I wonder if it will be available only to those who pre-ordered it. Either way I think I’m gonna try and get it around 3 or so.

I got mine on yesterday. It is quite more difficult that I expected at times. I find myself replaying levels. One more thing it is great playing with more than two people on the same console.

Hot dog! I love this game..I’ve spent the last two days unlocking shit on the create moon..I’m just trying to figure out how to use it all..I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Level ideas? If you have sprite gif pics of NES game characters or level designs, you can use a PSeye to take pics of it from your computer and make old skool NES games. Also, this has got to be my favorite level in the whole game.

Another idea, I want to make a dark castle level with secret rooms and take advantage of the light and candle items. Another cool idea would be a roller coaster level or maybe even a forest level.

I would suggest trying to find the Azure themed level, it is qutie an amazing creation and is a bit long but has a nice little ministory to it and interesting design with HUGE creations

I don’t really understand the appeal of this tbh.

I fell in love with it after being able to jump around all the levels in various outfits, I want to collect them all.

My new favorite is the entire spacesuit, it is so cool.

I wish there were someway to save images of them to pictures and what not.

LBP is awesome. The only thing I don’t like is that getting your level played is hard since the first page of the community levels contains the same (or at least mostly the same) levels everyday which means people are much more likely to play them than yours if it’s stuck on page 24.

They FINALLY updated that page. There’s a lot of great levels out there. It’s amazing what some of the creators have made.

There could have been an actual reason for it such as the fact I’ve only been on PS3 twice for about 20 mins since I’ve been visiting relatives every day since christmas. Finally opened the game (on that thursday i mentioned earlier in this thread that was a month ago by the way) and probably played it for like 30 to 40 minutes, and quietly put it back on its case. I have not played it since.

Haha Calum, sorry about leaving the game so soon. My grandad got back from the hospital so I had to go, it was weird how you were playng the exact level I’m on in single player mode now. Do you have keyboard or something? Either that or you’ve mastered typing with a controler, by the time I was responding to one thing you said you had already said something else. Maybe I’ll try to get a keyboard too.

Also that cheap shot in the pod was totally uncalled for 🙁

Oh yeah and sorry for sucking, this game is alot harder then I originally thought. Seems I need more practice.

I was calmly trying to navigate highly sensitive explosives across the air and into a thin passage in the hope of getting through to some special stuff. Then Mr Dive Right In turns up and starts lugging them around like they were cotton balls.

5 minutes later and i’m burnt to a crisp, and he swans off without so much as a goodbye…

It was fun though. We should do it again. MarvinStraight, I had fun with you and Garamond. Though It showed me just how bad I am compared to people who have had the game for ages.

As for the game? It’s brilliant. A true breath of fresh air, and one that I find myself turning off, only to be back on it within 15 minutes. I think it may be part of the reason I’m so pissed off with Fallout 3. I might be devoting too much of my clear head gaming time to it.

Because when it’s 2am, and I put Fallout 3 in the machine. I just don’t feel like it. And then I get pissed off and shoot anyone and everyone in my sight. But that’s for another thread.

I loved the part where I died instantly after entering the level.

I’ve gotten much further and I’m getting used to the jumping which tbh is slightly broken in the sense that after jumping you move foward slightly after landing which can be a pain.

I was trying the MGS levels that involved that paint gun thingy and holy shit they’re fun, one of the levels involved this tank you control and was simply genious, it’s a shame you left right before I went to play it, hope we can play again soon though that was great.

You guys are totally getting sucked into the fun I have every day. ^_^

Haha, dunno what the fuck was going on yesterday. I think it was a combination of an actual problem with LBP online and my horrendous connection but was without a doubt the absoloute worst my connection has been, a shame about that cause it was working fine when you were off doing something else lol.

My love for this game has just reached a new level.

I just bought, played and beat the Metal Gear Solid level pack. I have not had so much fun on LBP before(maybe not strictly true, but i’m exited).

At the end battle. When the Metal Gear music kicks in during the fight with REX, I was feeling so happy. This game is amazing. It reminded me of the fights with RAY and REX in the first 2 MGS games.

Anyone who has been thinking of getting the MGS packs for LBP. Do it!!

The MGS pack is pretty fun. I’ve allready started making my own MGS inspired level besides the VR level. I made a gekko in the level, but I can’t figure out how to engineer it to walk. Also, sackboy looks really cool dressed as Raiden.

I wanted to get the Kratos costume but you needed to pre order it from gamestop 🙁

Also how do you put them in, can’t see a "code" section in LBP.

The costumes, or any other downloadable content, can be downloaded on up to 5 PS3s, but that’s if I log into all 5 PS3s with my ID and password, go to the PlayStation Store and download again. It doesn’t work by re-entering the code. Oh, and if you do come across any code for downloading goodies, in the XMB, go to PlayStation Network > Account Management > Redeem Code (or something to that effect).

I remember playing MarvinStraight’s(what was that forest one about? Me and TM couldn’t seem to get passed a part where you need switch trigger stickers. But by looking at the shape, I was sure I had them. Yet they did not appear in my popit menu?). And your levels are all really well done.

And garamond has proven yet again, that he can apply creative talent to almost anything he tries to. His levels are great. One of them, in my opinion, is more difficult than the last level of the main game.

My level was the one that I quit after you used a gun to blast down a wall, it it’s early stages but just wanted you to have a look.

Also that tigger uppercut level Of Garamond’s is incredibly hard, could only complete it when playing with garamond haha.

Oh. I think I was only supposed to shoot the first bit right? Then the thing that it was supporting falls into place, giving my a path to continue with the level?

Because I just shot it all and then noticed I could not make it to the other side.

That’s because I haven’t edited it so you can actually make it to that side yet, The part with the gun is the last part I edited so far.

All 3 stickers are in the level, but when you pull them up from your pop-it menu it’s under "community stickers" (I think that’s what it’s called???), not where the story mode game stickers are. I might just change the whole thing to more original stickers to avoid confusion with the actual in-game stickers.
