I actually grabbed those 🙂 They are nice but a bit different from the original version I think. The Mining Melancholy is especially different.

Just out of curiosity… Do you happen to have the official DK2 or DK3 osts? I have found a lot of rips/remasters and other versions but not the plain old official versions. If not, thank you so much already, DK Jamz was no.1 on my list of albums to find!! 🙂

The U.S. version of DKC2 has longer track lengths and different track names and DKC3 has the same track names and does not have Cascade Capers so the Japanese version is more complete.

Ok, I’m an idiot. I thought the Japanese version of DK1 sounded alot different because I was listening to one of the ‘arranged’ tracks 😛 I guess with that in mind, having the Japanese versions of DK1-3, they should sound the same as the official north american versions (minus slight differences in track lengths and naming) …:P

Basically yeah. There is a difference in quality. (To me). The U.S. versions sound exactly like you would hear them as if you were playing the games and the Japanese versions are actual nice CD quality.
