This thread has been long dead. So finally I am giving it life again. 🙂 Some little updates on the files. So are I can’t offer better mp3 rips. Only the single "Like an angel" was updated to mp3 320kbps.
Sadly the soundtrack CD for both Rumiko Takahashi Gekijou and Mermaid Forest are damn shamelessly incomplete. Yeah… it would be better if those HiBOOM assholes actually made 2 independent soundtrack releases for each series. Never expect much from HiBOOM label itself, the lords of worst soundtracks ever made in anime. Surprisingly, the soundtrack for Rumiko Takahashi Gekijou and Mermaid Forest TV series, was actually… music, and had good compositions; nothing memorable though.
Kenji Kawai did much better, and even Norihiro with "Mermaid Scar".

My favourite manga series by Rumiko is the Mermaid Saga, I’ve just seen the last TV series that came out, a few episodes only and the animation looked so crappy, the ova from the 90’s looks a lot better, I haven�t seen it yet, but if it is like the manga, it should rock hard!

Just a question: your CD RIP *.cue (cue-sheet) file is missing, do you still have it?

I didn’t rip it with a cue sheet. I might rip it again, I will reup if I do so.

I saw from your *.log file, you’re a Macuser using the excellent ripping software XLD.
With this software, for cue-sheet file, no need to re-rip you CD. Just insert your audio CD in your Mac CD/DVD Drive, open XLD with the same settings as before (FLAC with separate files, same file naming options, etc.), then File–>"Open audio CD" and let scan pregap. Once finished, your track/file list appear on the screen, then scan for track names just as you did before. And at last, File–>"Save Cue Sheet As" (with "For separate files" option) and you have your *.cue matching for this CD. After all these, you could exit XLD as you wish. 😉

No problem, just change *.Wav to *.Flac extensions in Cue-Sheet file with a text editor (TextEdit on MacOS X) and save the file.
Or I can do it myself in your raw cue file.

Ok, i upped the cue and I also reupped the first song. i’m having a problem where I can’t get the 1st song to load with the cue file through my music player. Maybe you can figure it out and reup the cue for me?

Yeah, I know what you say, it’s a typical cue creating bug in XLD (MacOSX) and EAC (Windows) ripping softwares. I frequently have to correct it when I grab CD rips on the internet.

Here are corrected and working CUE and LOG files (encoded in UTF-8 for correct japanese names) and perfectly matching with your *.flac files. So, don’t touch them now. 😉
