First of all, everyone who’s thanked me is welcomed.

Secondly, I didn’t do these rips myself, I found this rip done by someone else from Quest Studio’s forum. He posted the rips and I downloaded them, tagged them and normalized them. He used SCI Viewer and Virtual Sound Canvas to record the music. Then he made them digital by saving them into MP3 format.

I would, but in the original download I got these from, they were only sorted into folders by chapter and inside that was A-Z, not 1-XX.

Someone could do it but it wouldn’t be in the official order that they’re played in. For instance, in the desert with Valanice, you can choose the rope to trip up the Jackalope or the bug bottle to shrink the scorpion after you’ve given the desert spirit the water. If you choose the bottle, you skip the music that’s played when you trip the Jackolope therefore, if you did this, it would throw the order from 01-XX out of balance because you skipped that piece of music. There’s no single linear path in this game in which the music is played because it’s a unique RPG and because of that, one cannot say that the songs are played in a particular order. For the most part of the game you could but there are moments where this can’t be done.

But that’s just my way of looking at it. If you or someone else wants to try and arrange this in that way, I say go for it.

To do that would be only one’s own personal arrangement of the songs in that order because of the way in which they played the game.

Thanks, that worked! However, accessing the links requires registration and that operation fails with GMail accounts (the confirmation e-mail just does not go through, even after 5 minutes). I had to use a dummy BugMeNot account to get the links. It is quite bad to reject GMail in the registration process or force people to disable all spam filters (and get ALL junk mail) just to download a file. I observed that this is a trend, not specific to that forum, and this is very annoying. Internet was NOT like this five years ago.

Yeah, five years ago this would have been hidden on an unindexed page somewhere where only people still using InfoSeek could find it. Then it would have been a 11KHz 64kbps aiff rip. Seriously, you’re complaining that the Internet is going downhill? Did you use the Internet in the 90s son?
