Video Game Addiction anyone?

Personally, I find a bunch of BS. From my own personal experience growing up with video games, I hardly lied about my video game habits, get the worse grades, nor did I get into fights…

Although I was depressed about my life due to my sexuality, video games were hardly an escape. It was more of a hobby and interest. In the end, I still had to deal with my problems and ultimately, I did.

I’ve been always a B and A student and always played (and still play) videogames. A lot. Too many hours sometimes for it to be healthy.

I still have a pretty active social life, spending whole days with friends and fucking around. A lot. Too many hours sometimes for it to be healthy.

I never played videogames when I was at school and I don’t even know what my grades were. So they had nothing to do with it.

Games are good for some people, bad for some. I play games frequently,
I have since I was 3 or 4, and I got through school just fine. There are those select few that take not only games, but TV, Movies, and whatever other forms of media and distracts them from school and all that.

Luckily, I got into more than just games like guitar and getting pussy. There are some people out there so addicted to games that they dont even get into anything extra-curricular or socialable activities.

I wonder why they would choose the ones who are too young to realize the important things in life for this study. They will grow up and those idiot "doctors" will realize it’s the age group. The addicts will suddenly become…unaddicts?

Either way. I’ve been playing video games all my life. Sure I would like to play a 40+ hour game as much as I can. Does it mean I’m an addict? No. It doesn’t run my life. I go to college. Make good grades. I have a good social life. I’m in a relationship. Seems to me they can take this study and shove it up their asses. When I was younger, I used to play video games a lot. But not so much anymore because there’s other shit that needs to be done.
