it’s a fake ?
or it’s a demo or submission ?

I only know Lorne Balfre, he is from "Media Remote Ventures Control", no ?

I have looked all over the net and can’t find any informations or just someone to can confirm this is not a fake…. 🙁

I found it on the IRC channel stated in readme file. I have no idea if it’s fake. The composers listed provided additional music perhaps…

and yes that can be the additional music, because Lorne Balfe have already provided additional music in Pirates of the Carribean 2 & 3 and Da Vinci Code… but since I have listen to it I think it’s a fake, because that sound really basic and poorly composed, that’s looks like an amateur compositions or something like this…. :S

anyway it’s not the rejected score, Ron Howard don’t goes to ask music at Lorne Balfe is he can have from Zimmer I think…. 😉

After some hours of web search, I just have found that James Horner are supposed to have made an unused theme for Angels & Demons, but nothing other than that…. 🙁

if I remember right, for DaVinci Code James Horner was’n’t able to composed the score for it for "personnal reason"… maybe I made mistake and that was on an other project, but I think I have right… 🙂

no sure, but why no one talk about this over the net ? this is strange, and why the only thing I have found is about a James Horner unused theme ?

also, it’s not only bad compositions, it’s "non professional" compositions, not the same thing 😉 …but of course, that doesn’t mean that’s a fake 🙂

I have see some composers over this board, like sergec or venton, maybe one of these can guy can help us to can made lights on this projet !? 🙂

also I have got it the track unused theme by James Horner, and this one sound realy beautiful, powerfull and with many chorus and orchestra piece like Angels & Demons have need 😉 anyway looks not a fake like this unreleased cd 😀

I’ve done some research, it’s definatly fake. Ron Howard was only ever working with Hans Zimmer on this score. No idea where this has come from….

2008, August 21 – Unsurprisingly, Hans Zimmer has been hired to score Angels and Demons for director Ron Howard, following up their smash hit film version of The DaVinci Code from 2006. Zimmer’s involvement in the sequel has just been confirmed by the Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency.

They always have assistants and things, these are huge productions. He prolly scored a dramatic drone during the film, or helped compose a riviting double bass line…..

Having committed every Horner score to memory there is no way that track is Horner. Stylistically it’s just not him and sounds very "cue"-like. The thing about Horner’s music is it’s always appropriate to the scene, and develops both thematically and motivically, which this does not. Also, that track is fairly sub-par compared to what Horner does with similar instrumentation in other scores. Where’s it actually from?

Whilst I appreciate the effort here, this is why the net sucks at times. BAckwards thinking, you should find out exactly what it is before posting this is how fakes propogate themselves
