Thunderbird 6 MGMCD 001 2004 [37 minutes approx.]

This soundtrack to the 1968 film was released in a limited edition in 2005. A version of the song The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze accompanies the aerial shots of Alan and Tin-Tin flying from Tracy Island at the beginning of the film. The director apparently wanted the Tiger Moth to simulate a dance in mid-air, and played this song on loudspeakers from the helicopter while filming.

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons FANCS20 2015 [238 minutes approx.]

Fanderson three-disc set of enhanced and remastered music from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. It contains music written for, or used in, all but three episodes ("The Heart of New York" and "Treble Cross" contain no original music and the recordings for "Traitor" are lost).

Using mainly percussion, brass and wind instruments, the music sounds sparse and stripped back in contrast to the full orchestral sound of Thunderbirds. With the exception of the four-note Mysteron theme, Gray usually restricted his use of synthesisers to space sequences. Captain Scarlet’s theme, heard in both versions of the end credits, is a variation on the Mysteron theme, emphasising Scarlet’s history as an ex-Mysteron.

Trunk Records presents rare jingles, jazz and advertising electronics from Barry Gray. The 81 cues on the disc all date from between 1959 and 1965. Products range from the new space-age Hoover Keymatic, for which Gray provided an electronic score, to jingles for new banana cereals. Among the vocal talents are the Mike Sammes Singers, Eric Sykes and even Barry Gray himself. Love the Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien Bread jingle.

I’ve tested it several times and the password worked every time, it is case sensitive, LucyS and not lucys. I’ve never used iArchiver, just WinRAR.

I only have the single Space 1999 Year 1 CD version that’s already posted. I believe there is (or was) also supposed to be a "complete year one score" set of 6 disks, but I’ve never seen that anywhere. It would be amazing to find it some day.

Ditto. I have been after the CD release of Thunderbirds 2086 for absolutely ages. I have listened to the LP to death now, along with all its annoying crackles that ruin all of the quieter material. The source Vinyl must have been rather scratched which is a shame because on many past releases I usually always preferred the sound quality of the Vinyl, especially those released alongside the original CD release.

There are a few small cues from other Gerry Anderson shows that haven’t been used on these CDs but they don’t amount to much. The 6 CD set is basically the same material in the Fanderson and Silva Screen CDs along with those cues, re-worked by music editor Alan Willis to fit the episodes and presented as a music only track in 22 of the episodes of Network’s Remastered Year One DVD Set. (I highly recomend this set to everyone as Space:1999 never looked or sounded better.)

I also suggest the version of the Main Title Theme included in "The Cult Times Re-Opened" compilation. Arranged and conducted by Year 2 composer Derek Wadsworth, it’s a proper extended version of the Main Title Theme, clocking at 3m10s. The Year 2 Title Theme is also included in the CD.
These 2 and the remaining tracks of the Fanderson CD’s, along with pretty much every cover version and related theme can be found at http://www.space1999.net/moonbase99/mp3menu.htm . For better quality, the Silva Screen is in this thread in MP3 and lossless and the Fanderson 2CD Set in MP3. The lossless files have been removed from the lossless thread, due to recent problems with a certain member, hopefully someone, and this is intended as a request, someone will repost these lossless files soon.

As i said, i only have the LP Rip. To my knowledge it is the only available music from X-Bomber (Besides a single containing the OP and ED and a couple other tracks that are on this LP) and it is far from complete. Still, the OP and ED themes are there along with some of the main tracks.
It was a blast earing these after nearly 28 years since i saw the original. I find it strange that with Go Nagai’s manga and anime boom a few years ago, no one brought this back in it’s original japanese form.

The songs and score were by J-Rock/Pop band BOW-WOW (today known as VOW WOW, as not to be confused with a certain american rapper), led by Ky???ji Yamamoto, while Kazutaka Tazaki (of Baja Revolution) and Nakayuki Sakuraba (of Adbaloon) provided additional music for the show.

Being an LP Rip the quality is not like a CD but it’s actually quite good for a record that was published in 1980.

I think you mean Shuki Levy and Haim Saban. As far as i know they only did the opening and end credit themes. Like the italian version, the french used the original (and IMHO, far superior) japanese BGMs. At least thats the impression i got from the few episodes i’ve watched.

Update: After watching the full episode 1 in Japanese, French and Italian i have to admit i was wrong.
The italian dub does maintain the original japanese BGM in full but the french is a mix of sorts.
It does maintain most of the original BGMs but some have been replaced by original music wich are the ones in that french soundtrack. Why, for the love of God, did they felt the need to replace the awesome BGMs with those sub-par tracks is beyond me.
At least in the UK they did a full fledged re-dub. But why maintain the original score if you’re going to spoil it with bits of lesser music?
At least the best tracks have been maintained. Cliping the battle track, will post what i piece together ASAP.

This same person is also shouting for the music from "The Protectors", but it is a 5 disc release and seems a bit expensive.

This is arranged as classical music was the music of Barry Gray’s.
this classic performances are very matched by the superb music of him.
and it makes us feel more refreshing taste …

Well, apparently I just didn’t hold my mouth right.

Didn’t know that Fanderson or anyone was doing a "Four Feather Falls" release.

I’m to young to had seen when it was first released (wasn’t born) and I have never been tempted to even look at an epsiode.

I don’t think I’ve looked at any of Gerry Anderson’s or listerned to Barry Gray’s music prior to Fireball XL5

Conducted by a Japanese conductor’s Toru Yukawa’s.
This had a stereo recording of 1992.

This album’s scores of all, made from Toru Yukawa’s hearing ability only.
And, some tracks are some mistakes in the performance.
therefore…This album is really have a bad reputation in Japan.
But,it’s perfect sound quality!

Fanderson’s new Fireball XL5 soundtrack CD is now available to order through the club website!

News of the specially expanded release was recently revealed to members in the pages of FAB in August. Since then members have been able to pre-order their copies and it’s fair to say that some people have been waiting for this release for some time! Fanderson’s first ever soundtrack CD combined music from Fireball XL5 and Supercar, but this is the first time that the former series has had a more extensive release of its own.

Fittingly, the album marks the show’s 50th anniversary and now includes over 80 minutes of music from legendary composer Barry Gray. It also comes with a 20-page colour booklet containing track notes and details of recording session dates and musicians.

As is now traditional in Fanderson soundtracks, the music has been painstakingly arranged in episodic suites where possible, and includes music from:
Planet 46, Space Vacation, Hypnotic Sphere, A Day In The Life Of A Space General, Space Magnet, Space City Special, 1875, Flying Zodiac, Flight To Danger, The Doomed Planet, Ghosts of Space, Drama At Space City, Space Monster, Prisoner On The Lost Planet, XL5 To H20, The Granatoid Tanks, Planet of Platonia and Plant Man From Outer Space.

Don’t know if anyone is aware of this, but Gerry Anderson passed away yesterday.

Sadly yes!! a lot of childhood memory’s of Mr. Anderson shows…they will indeed live on, I have the box sets of Space 1999 and UFO and still watch them with my sons (28 & 31). Rest in peace Gerry Anderson.

Look, there are a couple of Peeje links that are currently showing the same. Sometimes this means the file has effectively been deleted, and sometimes they become available again after a couple of days.

If I jumped to re-upload a file every time this happened, I’d never have a life.

Hi macdrummer. Thank you for your willingness to share all of these great albums. I understand your frustration with your links being taken down almost immediately, but I believe JonC offers to great advice. If you give your uploaded files names that aren’t readily accessible to Mega’s filters, it will be far less likely that they will be removed.

I would suggest the same, a more random filename and password-protected contents (mentioned here ideally, how about "Hackenbacker"?) so they aren’t automatically noticed has got to be less rapidly taken down. The TB1 and TB2 discs would be very much appreciated by this noob, thank you.

Well, hello boys and girls, I’ve been away for a while and I can’t believe people are still reading and replying to this.
I do have both of these soundtracks, as well as all the others I previously uploaded. Looks like a few of you would like some reuploads!
You’ll have to be patient while I re-rip and upload them, I no longer have my original rips or access to rapidshare, and I guess this mega.nz site is preferred anyway!
How do you like your rips – single flac file and cue sheet or separate flac files?

Fanderson three disc set of enhanced and remastered music from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. It contains music written for, or used in, all but three episodes ("The Heart of New York" and "Treble Cross" contain no original music and the recordings for "Traitor" are lost).

Using mainly percussion, brass and wind instruments, the music sounds sparse and stripped back in contrast to the full orchestral sound of Thunderbirds. With the exception of the four-note Mysteron theme, Gray usually restricted his use of synthesisers to space sequences. Captain Scarlet’s theme, heard in both versions of the end credits, is a variation on the Mysteron theme, emphasising Scarlet’s history as an ex-Mysteron.

There are three versions of ‘I’ve Got Something To Shout About’. There is an instrumental version, the second which was a commercial release was indeed sung by Gary Miller. But the best version is the third sung by Ray Barratt who voiced Duke Dexter in the actual episode.

It’s not made by Barry Gray, but it’s an actual album related to Terrahawks

In Japan, the Japanese-dubbed version of Terrahawks had an anime OP/ED and 10 exclusive songs made for that version, which include 8 vocal tracks and 2 BGM tracks. It’s only been released on LP so far and can be quite hard to find

As mentioned in the previous post, the Japanese-dubbed version of this show was given 2 new things that the original dub didn’t have: an anime
OP/ED and several new songs that were made exclusively for the dub, which include 8 vocal songs and 2 BGM tracks. The soundtrack,
which has yet to be released on CD, was incredibly hard to find at first but several copies have actually popped up for sale a while ago
(all of which are now gone, except for a $55 copy that’s on Discogs right now).

The majority of the music was made by Ichiro Nitta (Dallos, Area 88) but if you want to know who else worked on this OST,
