This is a very nice collection you have here. I could make a long list of stuff to ask, but for now I’m only interested in Rocky I & II OSTs. I’ve tried looking on torrents, but the ost for II always ends up being the bootleg version, where the wrong version of Gonna Fly Now is used and the version of Conquest that cuts off halfway through.

Call of Cthulhu – Dark Corners of the Earth OST would be very much appreciated.
I’ve lost my copy of the game and I’m not really in the mood of buying a new one just for the soundtrack which can’t be found pretty much anywhere in the net.

I just finished downloading rocky I & II, but when I tried to extract the files it says they are corrupted. I’ll do a defrag on my computer then try again after a restart.

Seriously, I know what I saw. I’ve tried extracting the files three times and each time I get this message: The file is corrupt.
Also, when I said you might I have the bootleg version, I checked it before I made that comment. I checked the tracklist of the Soundtrack on Amazon.com and saw this:
Notice what I said about Gonna Fly Now & Conquest? I said the bootleg version had the wrong version of Gonna Fly Now(If you listen to the sampler, you’d noticed its the same version from the movie with the kids singing) and Conquest is supposed to be 4:43 while the bootleg version ends at around 2:55. Now do you believe me?

This computer of mine was upgraded personally by my brother who knows alot more about computers than I will and this one performs a lot better than it did before. I’ve double checked these files on my brother’s computer and its the same result as mine. So the only reason that this problem would occur is the version of Windows we’re using. I’m using Windows XP just so you know.

Okay, I tried using the 7zip program and the archive works at extraction now. I sincerely apologize to you, Executable, for giving you such grief the last few days. I meant no malice or harm from it, and sincerely wish to enjoy more contributions you give to this forum.

That said, however, I still must bring to your attention what I previously said was wrong with the two tracks from the archive. There is a different version of Gonna Fly Now and Conquest is not supposed to end at the 2:55 mark. However, I will not fault you for this error as I have noticed others have the same problem and have most likely just accepted it. If nothing else, I’ll just get it from Amazon and be done with it. That is all I will say on this.

Its like a kick in the Balls haha. 😉

I just watched the Track trough.
The Conquest in Rocky 3 got 4:40 and Gonna fly has 2:50.
But if you decide to buy iam fine.
Its a great Soundtrack that have to be buyed.

Thanks for the upload, but there is a problem with the file. The first 8 tracks are not playing. I was trying to work out what the problem was before thanking you executable. Apologies for not doing so sooner.

I still don’t know what the problem is with the files, though. I’ve tried extracting with 7zip and winRAR and it says unsupported compression method and the files come out with 0 bytes. I can’t play them.

And I’ve got both latest versions of the zip and rar programs…

Firstly, I have no idea why you chose to misquote me. I said there is a problem with the file, and I don’t know what the problem is. I took my time to actually work it out myself, before I came back to post for help – which was why you started swearing at me privately for not having thanked you sooner.

I am not going to list here exactly all the avenues I exhausted, but I downloaded the file several times, and even tried it on other PCs, I still got the same thing. And it was not a password issue.

Suffice to say, however condescending you might want to act to perfect strangers – as it is easy to be rude to people you don’t know, there is a problem with the file for No Retreat No Surrender, at least from my end.

Secondly, as another friend has given me the album, in an easy and open manner as befits the proper way to share, with politeness and simple manners, I don’t have any ongoing issues on that score, but I am getting to have an issue with your rudeness.

You want to make sharing hard. Fine. I don’t know what you’re giving back, but you certainly are giving attitude to people that don’t deserve it. You want to be rude. Well how would you like it if you were walking in the street and some complete stranger came and just shouted in your face? That is what you being rude to us is like.

If over sixty is your real age Executable, then I am shocked at the way you treat people you don’t know, and I hope that you are not a general example of people in Austria.

I’ve had my say, and no doubt you’ll have yours, as people who are rude so often will without thinking. But life is too short, and you REALLY need to learn how to communicate.

Still, even though your manner has been abrupt, rude, condescending and childish at times when it was never called for, that’s your problem not mine – and I am guessing you have a lot of social problems – I still thank you for having taken the time to respond and to upload something, even though it was completely worthless to me ultimately.

I got my AC3 album from the Ace Combat series thread (Thread 30579), but most of the links there are expired, so I can’t confirm. But my soundtrack the same 2-disc "Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere: Direct Audio".

I used to have an AC3 album that I ripped, numbered, and tagged myself according to the Sound Test of the game, but then I downloaded an official release that replaced it because some of the tracks were more ‘complete’. I recall I had to rip the song "Camber" from the AC3 video files and named it "Peace Keeper" because it did not appear in the Sound Test. It’s the song that plays in the scrolling pre-mission plot dialogue that sometimes comes up after the briefings in the US version. Most albums seem to be missing Zero-Sum and Morceaux. I think this (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3617) is the one that gets widely distributed, but is missing the tracks in question.

I found another source of where I might’ve downloaded the Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere: Direct Audio album.

This one lists Zero-Sum and Morceaux as 2-14 and 2-15, just like the MP3s in the link I posted above. I think those two are sometimes labeled as 2-13 and 2-14 in some albums is beacuse Track 1 in the 2nd disc is a data track, which is omitted, so the tracks are renumbered to fill the gap. My AC3E: DA does not have a 2-01 or the data that was there. Neither does the download at Shadowhaxor.

Unfortunately, 128kbps is the highest bitrate of the AC3E: DA album I can find.

Awesome stuff. The GH link is the primary link i agree. The 128 is fine…and those last two tracks you provided chdgs, are actually the same bitrate AND codec version as the rest of the AC3 album….

Executable’s was lower than 128 bitrate and used a different codec however.

I emailed [email protected] to see if they could add the missing tracks to the GH site and the email address is dead. I dont know how to fix this for that site…oh well.

Ah, yes. That’s the song for the US version’s intro video. I completely forgot about that song when I replaced my self-ripped AC3 with the Direct Audio version. Thanks! Now our soundtracks are comeplete.

The Japanese and Westernized versions of Ace Combat 3 are very different.

The Japanese version has more missions, pre-mission AND in-flight vocal dialogue, multiple wingmen, animated cutscenes, much better characters & character development, mid-air fueling, docking with the UI-4053 Sphryna (http://acecombat.wikia.com/wiki/File:UI4053.jpg) and decisions to make within missions that cause branching paths where you can join other factions [Neucom Inc, General Resources LTD., or Ouroborous] instead of only working for UPEO. These take you on different missions or cause you to play a different role in a mission. Depending on which faction you belong to, you either INTERCEPT, PROTECT, or BETRAY UPEO during the R-505 escort mission (). There are also more plane color schemes, complete with logos, to reflect your alignment.

A lot of bells and whistles were removed and corners were cut when Namco released AC3 to North America and Europe. Which was a shame, because the grandeur of the plot and characters in Electrosphere makes Ace Combat 04, 5, and 0’s look very stale by comparison.

I think http://electrosphere.info/ has some information about an unofficial translation in the works, but I haven’t heard anything else about it in a while.

Hi big thanks for all of these!!!! excellent collection.. I have been after the biohazard soundtracks for ages had almost given up hope..
I’m having a big problem extracting Biohazard 5 though :(.. tried with latest winrar & 7zip… and hjsplit attaching the 001 & 002.. in they show the track names.. but all the files are 0 in size apart from the first which is the full size of the archive.. and both just error with unknown compression errors :/…. could try downloading them again but not sure that will resolve it.. any ideas.. thanks for any help you can give me.. big thanks once again for the soundtracks particularly the biohazard original soundtrack remix 🙂

sounds a bit similar to the issues I’ve had with Biohazzard 5 & homecoming… I’ve tried everything.. in two locations.. I can only think the original files are corrupt sadly :/

Outstanding collection, but upon trying to download the Ace Combat series OSTs, I come up with an error on RapidShare saying "RapidPro expired" and the message saying that the files/link no longer exists…

If you have a Rapidshare Account and logged in while you wanna Download something,log out and retry.
The Free and slow Option should then work.
That problem happened to me too.
