Too bad it’s for XBLA (boo!)
Check it out:
"TMNT: Turtles in Time" (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/04/tmnt-turtles-in-time-through-the-ages-a-comparison-video/)
I loved this game back in the day, but I wonder even after it was "Remaked" would it have aged well?
Imo, I didn’t think Street Fighters Turbo HD Remix was anything special, I think it didn’t age well…
with online multiplayer as a bonus.
Why would they only release it for XBox though?

Because XBLA = Awesome. I just got Geometry Wars 2 last night <333
This is dumb. Nothing about this game needed to be changed.
Agreed.
If I need to play it again, I can emulate it.

You are not off I do agree with you guys it shouldn’t have been remade, It was fine just the way it is. Hell, they should have just put the regular version on XBLA.
fix’d :smrt: ๐
I’m just raggin’ on XBLA. I truly have nothing against it. Just not my gaming system. ๐
Excuse me?
Graphics were ‘updated’, an entire level was taken out(no Technodrome level before you get sent back in time), and no Bebop/Rocksteady duo on the pirate ship(instead, you fight Tokka and Razar from the second movie).
So yeah, not only were things changed, they were things that NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOUCHED! The graphics alone made me ill, but when I heard about the deletions, my rage-o-meter went through the roof. I mean, the funniest part of Turtles in Time was seeing B&R getting mad at each other and then beating themselves up at the end of the fight!
Sorry, but any fan of TMNT should pass on this and stick with the original arcade game.
the snes version had the added technodrome level, and tokka and razar were in the ship in the original arcade.

Because I obviously have tons of respect for someone who doesn’t even know that the ARCADE REVAMP WAS OF THE ARCADE GAME. The style is that of the comic books, the new cartoon was based off the COMIC BOOK. If you want to see the child loving, dog saving turtles. Go watch any of todays hugely edited shows. The Ninja turtles of today are less censored. This is how they look in the comic books, and sorry pal but the comic books are what matters.
Unless you have some really decisive evidence to prove that the 80’s cashcows bare more significance than the darker original comic. Then I have no comment on how badly informed you are.
EDIT: I just went back and actually finished reading your post. It’s riddled with stupidity @_@… Bebop and Rocksteady were crammed into the SNES version because of the TV show that was another big ploy to get kids to buy their shit. Seriously man.
Ditto, I’m buying it tomorrow. Just playing the shit out of the demo today xD~
First off, my post did come off as a little harsh. However, I stand beside it because…well, it’s something called my opinion! Just as you’re obviously standing by yours.
Admittedly also, I spoke from a bit of misinformation on my part. I had thought B&R were on the pirate ship even in the arcade version. For that, and the harshness of my post, I apologize.
However, I repeat…this is not a worthy purchase. Buy it if you must, but I will stay with the original arcade game that I purchased some months ago.

Shut the fuck up.

I will stand by my statement as well. Especially the ending :).
