Here is an alternate download, same basic content. All songs have been retagged to reflect the track order changes and the new cover embedded. Special thanks to darthspielberg for the cover and to Kyria for digging up the extra tracks. There is still one cue missing, however: #21 "Eastern Condors" by Sherman Chow Gam-Cheung.
*Hound Chase (from ‘White Lightning’) by Charles Bernstein
*The Fight by Jacques Loussier
*What’d I Say by Rare Earth
*Eastern Condors by Sherman Chow Gam-Cheung
*Al Di L Della Legge by Riz Ortolani
*Claire’s First Appearance by Jacques Loussier
http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?p=1313933#post1313933
It’s the closest to complete as I’ve seen so far, and includes much of the stuff that Kyria dug up earlier. It’s still missing tracks 8, 13 and 25 (Beyond The Law by Riz Ortolani, Hound Chase by Charles Bernstein and Eastern Condors by Chung Ting Yat).
Jibboo also posted the film’s Production Notes which list all 27 tracks (http://forums.ffshrine.org/showpost.php?p=1313810&postcount=15908) featured in the movie.

I *may* have found "Beyond the Law", however, I’m not sure. Can anyone confirm that the link below truly is the track in question? When I found it, it was just called "Main Title" — I renamed/tagged the file. The film is not fresh enough in my mind to recall the track.
Beyond the Law? (http://rapidshare.com/files/271162874/08_-_Riz_Ortolani_-_Al_Di_La_Della_Legge__Beyond_the_Law_.rar)

Thanks for uploading what you have so far with the Inglorious Basterds (almost) Complete Soundtrack. I think Rageaholic may be on the right track concerning the "Hound Chase" cue being part of the RZA track from Kill Bill.
I have not had a chance yet to listen to the "Beyond The Law" cue by Riz Ortolani yet. I’ve only seen Inglorious Basterds once so far so my memory of that cue may not be accurate. But you’ve gotten us as close as we’ve all been able to get!
Again, thanks!

I don’t believe that’s it. But I’m not sure.
Honestly the Ortolani track is hard to pin down because there’s a lot of dialogue in the scene where it’s used and it’s just there in the background. I think it might be track 14 on this disc (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:jnfexqrhld0e). Take a listen and tell me what you guys think. Or maybe you hear another track there that sticks out in your minds? I believe tracks 12-19 on that page are from Beyond The Law, so see what you think…
Also I can guarantee I wouldn’t recognize the Eastern Condors track even if I heard it again. In the film, QT uses an excerpt of it that literally lasts about 2 seconds. Just a quick burst for emphasis and that’s it.
Of course, I’d still like to have everything just for the sake of completeness, but I think the very best tracks have already been found. 🙂
I guess I’m going to have to watch the movie again and pay particular attention to verify the cue. I’m not sure if the "Main Title" is the right track as the IMDB FAQ page identifies the cue as "piano music"–
Al Di L Della Legge by Riz Ortolani: Piano music at Maxim’s when Shosanna has lunch with Goebbels, Francesca, Zoller and Maj. Hellstrom.
Unfortunately, neither the FAQ nor the production notes that you found clearly identify if it is the title track or another track from "Beyond The Law" that is used. It may be a piano version of the "Main Title" (sadly, I have never seen "Beyond The Law" and am not familiar with the score).
I googled up this page–
http://www.moviegrooves.com/shop/aldiladellaleggesoundtrack.htm
They only provide samples and the tracks have no names, but listen to Track 4 (it is a piano cue). Again, I can’t remember if it’s the same music from the movie. Can anyone help verify?

I need to see the film again (still), but I think you may be right. Can anyone confirm if this is indeed in the film? If so, I have located it and will upload it if it is correct.
I have had zero luck with any Eastern Condors tracks — and I agree that the Hound Chase may be the same song used in Kill Bill (I do recall hearing that during the movie).
That’s all I have for now.

By the way, the version of ‘Bath Attack’ that you guys have is different than the one in the film. By now we all know the one in the film used an electric guitar over the track that QT added in, but regardless, the second half of the song that you guys have in your releases, does not use piano, along witht he kick drum, only the kick drum by itself. Hear this version instead. This is the version QT added the guitar over, not the version you guys have in your uploads. I can upload this song too if anyone else wants it.

Thanks for the contributions! I was kind of hoping there might be a longer version of "Hound Chase" out there, but I guess that’s actually the whole cue. So it is the same one that was previously in Kill Bill under the title "White Lightning".
Also, after listening to the scene carefully, I can now confirm that the track referred to as "Al di l della Legge" is not the one previously linked by agraves611. The correct track is referred to as "The Saloon" on Ortolani’s Day of Anger/Beyond the Law compilation. It is track 14, which can be heard here (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:jnfexqrhld0e). Now we just need to find a full version. 🙂
No leads on "Eastern Condors". 🙁

No problem, glad I could help. Eastern Condors will be a tough one. And what did you think of the "Main" version of ‘Bath Attack’ I posted?

Awesome job! Thanks for the White Lightning track and the correction on Bath Attack. I’ve got nothing on Eastern Condors, but here is "The Saloon":

I think I heard that version of "Bath Attack" earlier. There are a couple different versions and I’m not really sure which, if any of them, is the one in the film.
Also I managed to find the complete soundtrack to "Beyond The Law"! Here’s a link to the cue from that that’s used in IB: http://rapidshare.com/files/272442618/14_-_The_Saloon.mp3.html. Or if you want the entire album, you can grab it from this page: http://my.opera.com/indrid%20cold/blog/show.dml/2415982.
(Edit: Beaten by jibboo. :p)
If you compare this to the other two versions posted, it’s a little different. The one in the Youtube clip that bigball12 posted is clearly closer to the movie version than the one in the OP, but the movie version has a slightly more pounding feel than either of the others, IMO.
If it helps, here is the snippet for reference: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ikoz0a
That’s the very ending of the song "What’d I Say" by Rare Earth.
Thanks! I am really trying to find Eastern Condors everywhere! I have an LP to Mp3 converter and would love getting the lp if I could. Nothing yet!
Il Mercenario (ripresa) by Ennio Morricone: Aftermath of the Basterds attack/Sgt. Racthman approaches and salutes Lt. Aldo.
I remember seeing "The Entity" a long time ago, and that repetitive, eerie electric guitar piece stuck with me. Years after the fact, I was fascinated to find out Tarantino was using it. The thing is–even thought it was announced as being on the official soundtrack at first, it’s nowhere to be found. And how interesting, considering NO ONE can find the true version as it was used in the original "The Entity" and in "Basterds." I guess Tarantino has his sources because, as far as I know (and have read and searched), there was never an official soundtrack release of "The Entity," and when this bootleg founds its way online, of course the one track that is markedly different is "Bath Attack." It’s ridiculous–did someone alter Charles Bernstein’s score in post-production? At any rate, I hope someone can end up doing better detective work than me, because as of right now all we have is the inferior cut and that rip taken directly from the movie.

Have a question though:
What’s the brief music that plays as Omar Doom’s character is running in slow motion to shoot the guard outside Hitler and Goebbels box?
Cheers,
Thanx again; crossing finger to find the sccreenplay IN ENGLISH at my Fnac (I’m in Paris…)
see ya Basterds!
It’s "Un Amico" by Ennio Morricone, which sounds really scratchy on the official soundtrack, I uploaded a remastered version a few posts above.
Use the search function. 🙂
now with the help of others guys we finaly got a complete soundtrack, thanks to all

it’s notcomplete, still missing eastern condors.
when Soshanna is having lunch with Zoller, and the director, Hans Landa comes in and there’s a loud bass beat that starts playing—is that from a song? and if so which one?

Bath Attack (Charles Bernstein).
I watched the movie again and noted all the songs as they happened. Here is the order (as far as I could tell) that they occur in the movie (if they occur twice, I put ** by some of them). Still missing Eastern Condors in my collection.

I tried to collate as much of the available information as possible into the IMDb FAQ entry (http://imdb.com/title/tt0361748/faq#.2.1.7). You guys seem to know your stuff, so if you have a minute, please take a look and, if you notice any mistakes or omissions, let me know or correct them yourself. In several particulars (performers, mostly), there were online sources which contradicted each other, I usually simply went with the majority (numerical google test) for those… :-[
Thanks,
Tera
That – like the kung fu excerpts QT used in Kill Bill and Death Proof – I personally feel will probably never see the light of day (unless the DVD features a music selection menu with the song playing directly on there).
Um, no, it’s not.

Too bad it’s cut off, or is that how short it’s supposed to be?
