Well, here you have one of those gems that sometimes the industry bring us. It’s the last live concert that Jerry did. Unfortunately, he was so sick that year, that the concert was conducted by Charles Fox.

But hey, we’re talking about Goldsmith, so the power of his compositions can still be feeling.

Goldsmith, along with Williams, and James Horner is among my Trinity of all-time favorite score composers, with the second Trinity belonging to Elfman, Zimmer, and Basil Poliderous, with special mention going to Trevor Jones for his Last of the Mohicans. So thank you for this one!

I tought it was Randy Edelman who made the last of the mohicans!

It was co-composed by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman, and thanks for bumping this thread, i don’t have this live concert.

What I found really interesting is that for me the most memorable portion of LotM that Trevor wrote "The Kiss" and "The Promitory" was based on an earlier music called "The Gael", which may or may not be from an earlier version of the same movie. That piece itself is probably worthy of a Great Film Score Hunt, but as Michael Ende wrote over and again in "The Neverending Story", "that is another story and shall be told another time"

‘course I also like the colloborative work that he did with David Bowie for "Labyrinth" -which remains one of my favorite soundtracks.
