I have a backlog worse than a fair share of people here: (290+ DS games),
and most are good-to-awesome quality, so I’ll be playing them all at SOME point! :lol
Questions:
1. What are you doing to solve that issue, if anything?
2. Why do you insist on purchasing games when you know you have a backlog?
3. What’s the next game you’re going to crack open to alleviate the backlog?
Protip:
Never ever play games out of obligation. Play them whenever the moment arises. ^^

1. I sold a bunch of stuff.
2. I get overconfident about my ability to play them, and then get overwhelmed by how many I have left to play when I always want to replay stuff. So, when I’m playing something old I have this intense desire to play something new. Then, when I’m playing something new I long for something old. I want stuff when I want it, I don’t want it by the time I have my hands on it (*cough* Ace Attorney Investigations*cough*Iwantedyou2yearsago*cough*)
3. I can’t readily say. See your own protip, cuz it’s 100% true. Spontaneity.
pssssst! I think that’s the idea. 😀
Anyways, I just recently started to have a backlog, but it’s pretty small: two ps3 games and 3 psp games. It’s good to know that other people are crazy and buy more video games than they have time to play 😉
There’s nothing you can do but PLAY MOAR GAMES!
My backlog is currently 2 PS3 games and 1 DS game. I feel like doing a dance. A weight has been lifted~
I feel bad that Valkyria Chronicles is in my backlog. I have played it for like an hour, but that’s it. It feels like a good game, too… Same for Jeanne D’arc.
