I’m not sure what new music is there, but here’s what new music I know is in these expansions.
Final boss battle themes – Ode to Life Bestowing, Evil in Small Doses, and Project Shantottofication
Credits themes – I think that ACP has a remix of the classic FF theme as its credits theme, and I’m not sure about the other two.
Other new music – ?
Many thanks here in advance.
Oh, and another request: I know I can rip the music off YouTube, and that’s not what I’m asking. So, could you please rip it/upload another rip/tell me where another rip is/whatever in better-than-YouTube quality? (My mind’s blanking out on what the word for that is, so Better-Than-Youtube will have to suffice for now)
Thank you.
Speaking of which, I don’t suppose you could find/make a rip of the FFIV: The After Years? My only rip is from YouTube, which makes the quality less than desirable. Thank you.
For reference, it starts at 11:35 in this video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm6097333
Anyone?
This leaves what is called ‘format shifting’, which is time-consuming and not always possible (as I haven’t completed any of the 3 mini-expansions in FFXI yet I have no idea what their ‘final battle’ themes sound like, nor do I have access to them). Looking in my FFXI folder (I play the PC version), there are 18 music files in the music folders for A Crystalline Prophecy and A Moogle Kupo d’tat, however there are only four files in A Shantotto Ascension.
All I can think of is the three mini-expansions must use music mostly from the original game as well as the previous expansions, with the ‘new music’ more for cutscenes. I’m probably wrong though (as I said I haven’t finished any of the mini-expansions yet so I have no idea what music they have for their final battles).
I’m really sorry I couldn’t have been more help, but hope this has answered your question.
EDIT: I realized I made a mistake – the music folders that I thought were for Crystalline Prophecy and Moogle Kupo d’tat are actually for Treasures of Aht Urhgan and Wings of the Goddess – the music for all 3 mini-expansions is bundled together in the last folder, which as it turns out only has 4 files in it. So that means there is only 4 new pieces of music included in those 3 add on packs. So it’s likely those files are just for cut scenes and not battle music. I’m really sorry for the mix up.
My requests for the final battle music of FFVII: Before Crisis and FFIV: TAY still stand.
Thanks for the help, theq66! This information is much appreciated. I’d assume, then, that the FFXI version of "Prologue/FF theme" and the three final boss musics are the four files you were talking about. Can someone confirm whether the FF theme plays during all three expansions credits? If not, what plays during Small Doses and Shantotto Ascension’s credits?
In any case, thanks a whole bunch!
That’s all we know, unfortunately.
So, I’m going to bump this thread.
Requests for:
High quality Final Battle music of -Before Crisis- Final Fantasy VII
High quality rip of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
High quality rip of the final battle themes of the latest FF XI expansion packs, as well as the FFXI remix of The Prologue/Final Fantasy Theme.
If anyone can help, than you so very much.

I love you forever. I’ve been trying to get those add-on songs for a long time now. Google searched for about an hour before I found this thread. So happy^^
And are there any new songs for the new add-ons for FFXI (Right now this only includes Vision of Abyssea)?
