Also, a friend of mine wants to know how you managed to decrypt the files from the ISO.

The ISO is full of these PAC files,which also are in the Arcade/PC version of BBCS,however,they’re compressed by some Microsoft program in the Xbox 360 SDK
The SDK also has got a program for uncompressing them,xbdecompress.

After they’re uncompressed,you can extract those PAC files with the usual tools used in the arcade version,like Hipster.

However,the BGM in the arcade version is in ogg format,while in the 360 version is in XMA format,which also can be converted to WAV with the 360 SDK.These XMA files seem to be some variation of the WMA format.
The bitrate of these files seems to be around 100-130 kbps,so,the quality isn’t very high.

I hope I explained this correctly,it’s the first time I’ve done a 360 gamerip.

My question is… could please, pretty please… rip all the voice files from this game? I collect stuff like that, since I use them to play around, make mixes (with my ORIGINAL MUSIC DO NOT STEAL) and overall… I just like to have voice rips on my PC.

I’m not so much interested in the battle voices (except maybe for Mu-12) but the story mode ones(since the rest, like arcade and battle I have from the arcade version).

You could also upload whole archives/archive with the voices, and I would rip them myself. That’s okay too.

OF course, as I said, if you don’t want to. That’s okay, it’s understandable. I won’t blame you, or anything.

Sadly,I don’t have a 360 or PS3,I can’t play this,so,I don’t really know if this is supposed to have english voice acting,all I can see is a empty folder named VoiceEng.

And yes,Valkenhayn’s theme is awesome (I had no idea he’d be playable on this.I hope they release a PSP version like they did with the first so I can play it too)

Well,the process of converting this is almost the same,but given the amount of data,it’s a lot more tedious. I almost have managed to do some script for extracting it,it needs some tweaks and it’ll be done

The voice data is around 600 Mb,and it’s compressed in this Microsoft audio format,so,I guess you’ll have to deal with that one,it would be too big to upload it in .wav format,of course,feel free to ask about uncompressing this.

My upload speed isn’t too high,so,uploading 600 Mbs will take me a while

I got myself a tool to convert those files, but it doesn’t support converting many files at once. So I’m kinda screwed if I want to convert all of them quickly. ;_;

Actually quite a few of them (75, 76, and 80-91) do not have titles that I can find. Though I recognize 76 as the Imperator’s Theme. The one I want the most, though, is the title for 83, usually used when the Heroes are storming Adventus to fight Hazama before Mu awakens.
