If you want to play the game and extract the rest yourself, use the zsnes emulator and whenever a new piece of music comes up, press S at the beginning of it. It can be pretty tricky to catch the very start of it though, and this process is a pain in the ass in general, but it’ll save an SPC file. If you go to SNESmusic.org you can download a Winamp plugin that’s very easy to install and use that will let you play it back. You’ll have to tag it and set how long it should play for yourself though. That’s what I’ve done here and converted to MP3 for you.
SPC files are very very small, but are lossless, and there are thousands of games ripped (and timed and tagged) in that format, so it opens up quite a world of music to you by just getting that Winamp plugin. There’s also one for foobar2000.
If I’d known you knew about SPCs, I’d have just uploaded this (http://www.multiupload.com/8WUIXGYGF0) for you. The birds are on voices 7 and 8. If you play the game again sometime in the future, if you collect the rest of the music in it SNESmusic.org would probably take it. I don’t think this is how they get their SPCs though because of how impractical this method is.
Anyway, glad I could be of service. ๐
