I am VERY glad that you enjoyed them!

William
And again I must thank you for posting these 😀
Well, I’m glad that you people like them! And, Dspani, as long as you are in the "Netherworld" and not the "Nether regions" 🙂
William
P.S., did you know that "C-3PO Walking" and "Worker Drone Droid" are basically the same track?
Thank you again,
JonC

Thanks, JonC. Yes, I heard that, except that the worker droid has that little "Gronk" sound, which is why they called that droid "Gronk"! Wierd! 🙂

By the way, still stuck in limbo…apparently niether good enough or bad enough

You are most welcome, and hopefully someday you will find your way out of where ever it is that you are! 😉

I shall listen to it again.
Thanks again,

I shall listen to it again.
Thanks again,
JonC
Yes, right at :18 secs into.
Also, I wanted to remind you people that these are VERY rare, and given out at a risk for Ben Burtt. Even thou he is retired (or Semi-retired) it can still effect his working in the business, so PLEASE try and keep it on the "Down-low", PLEASE? And I wanted to say to the person who PM’d me with a link for more sound effects from SW:
I reviewed ALL of the SFX on that link, and they were ALL taken from the films in one form or another, but THANK YOU anyway for thinking of this thread. Even though the edits were choppy, and the sound really poor quality, I know you have the best intentions, and please, if you find any more sound effects, or other music, please let us know.
Thanks again, William
Thanks Steven, and welcome to the board! I NEVER wear a bathrobe, and pretend that I am Obiwan! I always listen to these sound effects in the NUDE!!!
Guess what my lightsaber is!!!! 😉 🙂
William
You are both MOST welcome! Been thinking about putting up the Star Wars radio show here, since it is not music, what do you think?

I think, at the time, it was meant to replace the windows 95 sounds, at least thats what I did.
They are quite high in quality though.
Mine are all extracted from existing PC games. All sorts of Star Wars games. there’s a couple sites i go to frequently for "modders".
the formats vary, and while some are in .wav, it’s a very low end .wav. the bitrate is extremely different for most sound fx.
plus the ones i extract mostly have no name, just the main file i extracted them from. so for lego star wars, the naming scheme is dat_000001….dat_002000
there’s a lot of sfx. a lot a lot…
most of which have no titles, so you’ll have to listen to every single one and name it yourself and delete the ones you dont like. more like delete thousands you dont like lol.
they are clear of other sound/music/dialog.
i’ve got other people requesting the same thing.
i still might do it but it will prolly take a couple weeks to organise it and make a "best of"…
i’m still trying to sort it all out for meself lol.
great work on these guys.
First of all, thanks William for the amazing soundfiles. It gave me the idea to save all of the soundfiles present on the official website. Here are all of the sounds from the StarWars.Com soundboards. Most of these files overlap the files that Williamtaylor1969 posted, but there are much much more. On the other hand a lot of his soundbytes are not present on the official site like the vader Hurt, the lightsaber stuff, the probe droids sounds and the computer and elevator sounds.
There are over 1000 sound bytes here from the official site. These are the original (MP3) files. Most of these files are as "clean" as the first post and appear to come from the master tapes. I have sorted them, but not renamed the files yet. When I get to that I will post an update here.
Enjoy.

Hello, Darth Neo. I finally got to download and listen to these sound effects. I wanted to say "THANKS" big time for putting that link on this thread. Many of them sound like they are from the master tapes, just as the ones that I linked here. However, there are a couple that I can tell that they were ripped from a DVD source or something like that. No music to speak of, but background noise that I can hear. Anyway, a couple out of the hundreds that are here, this is a GREAT FIND!
Thanks again, William
Sound effects track. 😉

My pleasure! 🙂 I just hope that there are alot of other HD sound effects out there, that someone will find. I have just about ALL of the TREK sound effects, but I would really love to get a bunch of the Star Wars sounds. I really like all the talking (from vader, obiwan, luke, etc) but I would love all of the actual sounds of the echo base BG, the rebel base BG, and all the weapons. I have the lightsaber SFX pretty much, but need more blasters SFX, the Falcon blaster sounds, more of the falcon SFX as well. But, we will see!

But yes, it’s a lot of work (256 clips)…

BTW, William, these sounds are AMAZING!! I’m absolutely loving the Tie Fighter and R2D2 sounds! 😀
I have recorded the first batch of sounds from the Ben Burt book: The sounds of Star Wars.
While I can really recommend the book to anyone interested in the sources and combinations of the sounddesign for Star Wars, here are the sounds themselves. They have been numbered and named following the book. Enjoy…..
These are all the sounds for Star Wars – a new hope. There are some droid sounds in here too 😉
I will be posting The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi next tuesday.

Were they all too loud or did something happen during transfer? Lot’s of crackle and distortions are present. 🙁
(Though, thanks for the effort! 😀 )

I was going to say, Remember…the source is with you, but that doesn’t make sense…..LOL
Seriously….the source is a plastic toy. What do you expect???
Anyone still interested in the rest of them???

Don’t take it as a complaint. I was just wondering if they were like that. 🙂
And I’m still interested! It’s always better to have something that nothing. 🙂
Absolutely. Everything including The Clone Wars if you have the time and the inclination and thanks again so much!

Ok, expect ESB and ROTJ tomorrow. There are only a few soundbytes from The Clone Wars, but I will post what is there.
Thanks, Lilu! 🙂

It sounds too much like Matt Wood’s voice, maybe it’s not the final version; But it’s still better than the 2004 version.

Hey, Darth Neo, where did you find that photo of Leia kissing Chewbaca? I have searched all over the internet and only found the photo of Chewbaca grabbing Leia’s breast, with her making a surprised face, but I want the kissing one, to add to the other photo.
William
William
I don’t think you will find it on the internet. It’s from an extremely rare set of ESB images that were never released to the public. Because of that I cannot share a higher-res version of the image….sorry
(If you want to see more rare stuff from Star Wars visit my website 😉 Cheers, Darth Neo)
(If you want to see more rare stuff from Star Wars visit my website 😉 Cheers, Darth Neo)
Yeah, I guess you are right, it is nowhere to be found! Oh, and your site is not what I would call a "user friendly" site, VERY hard to get around. And, even though you say that you HAVE to put a "watermark" on all of your photos, that is not a watermark, when you run the name of your site diagonally thru every picture, with only a 1/4 inch between, with large bold letters! Watermarks are almost invisible and remain in the background. Why would you want to post pictures like that? Just to show everyone that you have the photo, and will not share with anyone else? That is a cop-out! I had saved your site to my favorites, and after spending about 15-20 minutes there, trying to find anything funny or rare, I deleted the save, and went on to other things. Sorry, but that is the truth. Your postage stamp compulations of rare SW pictures are barely visible, since you have the size set so small. All of this, it is not condusive for me to ever return.
That is the way I feel, sorry again.
William
That is the way I feel, sorry again.
William
Even if you don’t like the site you don’t have to be an ass about it. "User Friendly" does not imply for me to hold my visitors by the hand by telling them which buttons to push. I expect some degree of intelligence.
And if by "postage stamp compilations" you mean the gallery thumbnails……well…..I rest my case…..
By the way….there are other means to get the rare stuff if you are willing to take the subtrading routes. If you don’t understand that some stuff has to be protected from leechers then you’re not worth the trouble. I am just trying to be nice to other fans and share what I can share. Not all of the images on the site are watermarked and there are lots of great high-res images that I share. No amount of carrot-dangling intended on my part. There are lots of collectors (read Steve Sansweet, Gus Lopez and others) that show off their collections. Do you expect them to copy, scan, rip everything they own just because you feel you have a right to it?? Same thing….
I guess you are one of those people that expects EVERYTHING to be available for EVERYONE for nothing. I got that from most of your posts on FFshrine already. I am not getting into a discussion again trying to explain my motifs to deaf ears….I am tired of it (discussions not on this site though).
It keeps amazing me how people treat each other for lack of trying to understand a person and I have seen a lot of that on this otherwise amazing forum.
I guess I should thank you for saving me a lot of work. I was happy to start sharing a lot of rare OST’s that I own original copies of in FLAC, but after your post and reading all the other bitching and whining on this site I changed my mind. I guess this is just an exclusive club for the likes of yourself (If these remarks get me banned I don’t really care…..it will just prove my point)…

No, no NO, MR. NEO!!!
I have met TOO MANY of your kind, people that tell me "Hey, I have the ONLY copy of this soundtrack, and I would LOVE to give you a copy, however, the person that I got it from will not allow me to make any copies", or someone who has a very rare backstage photo from Star Trek, that they ONLY put up on their site, and it is thumbnail size only, 5 or 6K, if you make it even 1 inch by 1 inch, the pixels start to fog up the picture horribly. I may be wrong about
you, but I would like to see you prove it to me!
I contribute ALOT to this site, and I GIVE people alot of soundtracks and scores that they would not otherwise have. I have NEVER whined or harrassed anyone on this site, and I give out freely, without asking anything in return. I could have been one of these kissass people I see on the internet all the time and tell you that you had a "really GREAT site, with so much to offer", but I didn’t want to bullshit you. You site is only there to show others what they may NEVER have, and only what YOU HAVE!!! As I had said, it’s a cop-out. If you want to attack me for the truth, so be it. But people like Babydoll, and Sorei and others have posted some pretty RARE stuff here, and have gotten very little for the trouble.
You need to rethink your priorities in life, and put stuff up on your site, like all these Star Wars sound effects, that you can share with others! Take them all! Add the Star Trek sound effects as well, that’s what they are here for, TO SHARE! Add all the special edition music scores from the 6 movies, and make your site interesting and fun for people to enjoy! Life is too short! Everyday, I think to myself, what if the world ended tomorrow? What can I do TODAY, to make someone’s life a little better, even if it is only for one day! Come, on Neo, I know that you can affect someone else’s life in a positive way. What do you say?
William
Hey, you can never tell. Most of the Star Trek sound effects that I had found in the CBS SFX library! I couldn’t believe that they were hidden in there. But you never know until you go snooping around in places. Any addition to these sound effects would be great appreciated. Thanks, William
You can get that uploaded to "Hotfile.com" in less than an hour, I find that it is the fastest of all the file sharing sites!
Good luck, William

OMG, you are talking in mighty big absolutes with your TRUTH here William. This while you yourself are operating within a HUGE gray area. I take it you see yourself as Robin Hood while you are nothing more than a thief and a pirate. So who needs to get his priorities straight??? (and I am not making any moral judgments here. I don’t want to start that discussion, just don’t talk to me about rethinking my priorities in life).
First of all I am not talking about soundtracks here. I am only responding to your unpleasant comments about my website. You are entitled to your opinion and I am fine with that, but you don’t have to make such a case of it. You can mask your comments with sorry’s (how’s that for a cop-out?), but they are still hurtful unnecessary comments. On top of that you make assumptions and moral judgements about me personally and my character that are totally out of place.
I have put a lot of work and love into that website in the interest of sharing….not showing of. People like yourself ruin the experience because of your greed.
I can ignore the little negative comment of this or that person. However, you are a big part of this community and made a very hefty case against my website while overlooking (or ignoring) other facts just because you can’t have that particular picture or the lost ESB documentary that I show parts of on the website. You overlook the amount of stuff that I DO share and offer freely. You make me feel bad about my work and attack me on a personal level so I respond in a harsh way. This kind of negativity you display towards me just ticks me off. In doing so you make me feel very unwelcome on FFshrine while my intentions here have been nothing but good.
You don’t want to bullshit me but your talk of (your) truth is complete bullshit. You are entitled to your opinion and I to mine so there’s no truth there. Goody, goody, that you share so much and ask nothing in return. You don’t hear me complaining about that. I really appreciate it, but don’t place your morals and values onto me. It makes you sound like a muslim. I have my own set of values thank you very much.
Let’s take for example those rare ESB photo’s like the thumbnail you’re after. I paid $ 100,00 each to get those. Do you really expect me to just give these away and totally throw away any value of such an item (and don’t compare this to OST which still retain their value when you own the original copy). Again do you expect collector’s (like Sansweet and Lopez) to scan, rip and copy everything they own? Are people not allowed to show their stuff to other people? If that’s so you might just as well close all musea and galleries while you’re at it.
The point is that I try to show everything that is out there, not to show everything that I have. People have been kind enough to open up their collections a little bit (with limits like watermarks and image size). What bugs me is the negativity that surrounds this proces with people demanding stuff while they hold no claim to it (while I certainly understand the need to have this stuff since I have the same need for stuff I don’t have). They just bug and whine and act like little children because they didn’t get a transformer robot for Christmas. Well, here’s the truth: you can’t have everything.
You then have a problem with people showing a little bit of their collection or just saying Hey, look what I have.
Let me ask you then: You expect me to keep this silently within my collection, never telling anybody? You would rather remain ignorant that it is out there with nothing to hunt for? Ignorance is bliss as they say.
I also crave to have full-res images of all the watermarked small rare images that I have seen, but you can’t have it all. And where’s the fun in that? I have sometimes contemplated having every photograph that has ever been taken from the Star wars productions in high-res and I honestly can tell you I wouldn’t like it. I would have nothing to hunt for.
Besides that the stuff that I can’t share is because of promises to friends and real-life persons that I know and you have a problem with that???? How dare you. You are nothing more than a digital representation of someone that sits a lot behind his computer somewhere on this planet. Be thankful for the stuff I do share and don’t act like a little child.
When I make promises to people I for one keep them. My word still has value where I come from. How about you?
And just for the record (AGAIN): there are loads and loads of rare, uber-rare, high-res images available on the site. Ever thought about clicking on the thumbnails as they are called? A common way of navigating a gallery? Not postage stamp representations of my images, but clickable thumbnails that bring you to a bigger version and a link to the file itself. Like I said I expect some degree of intelligence. Cleary you don’t bother to use yours so don’t blame me for your misconceptions.
Second: I have nothing to prove to you. But since you practically demand me to start sharing soundbytes (didn’t I do that already in this tread???) and soundtracks here: I already started this tread a while ago:
Tread: Thread 83561
List of OST’s: complete list of OST’s (http://www.starwarsarchives.com/Soundtracks.xhtml)
So I AM willing to share. In fact all of the OST’s that I own on CD in FLAC format. However, since I got no response to the tread whatsoever I guess my OST’s are not rare enough or nobody is interested. This is to "prove" to you that I am willing to share (and happy too).
But here’s another truth: I was happy to start sharing my large collection of original OST’s until your remarks.
Why: because your remarks and my so far pointless efforts explaining myself takes the fun out of it for me. I am not spending my precious time to please people who don’t appreciate it. That’s the last thing I’m gonna say about that. If you don’t understand that then so be it, but don’t make me a bad guy because you have a different set of morals and value’s than myself. I share what I can within my set of value’s. If that is not enough for you than you are just a petty materialistic human with no outlook on what’s really important in your short life.
So you either respond to my points and questions in a intelligent, mature way (And yes, I realise I am making sly remarks with my last two posts here, but that is just a response to your level of communication). Try to see and respect my point of view (you don’t have to agree). If you can’t then so be it. I have NOTHING to prove to you. I will gladly return to anonymity on this forum and just take what is posted here…
It’s up to you…
A view points on your post:
– "Met too many of your kind": quite an assumption and we never met.
– I am not asking for anything here. No Quid pro quo on my part. I will gladly post my whole OST collection here with nothing in return.
– Star Trek sound effects???/ Where did you ever get that I got those???
– "You site is only there to show others what they may NEVER have, and only what YOU HAVE!!!" WRONG: and there are loads of loyal contributors and people who do appreciate my efforts to prove it.
– "If you want to attack me for the truth". Assumption: I am not attacking for a so called truth that isn’t there.
– "what if the world ended tomorrow": I would certainly not waste my time on the internet, but party like hell and watch it all goes to waste…
I didn’t even keep track of how many are in there… thousands, eh? I got all those SFX over a few years so it makes sense for there to be that many.
Thanks for your response 🙂 I am glad to see people with reason here.
I also feel I should apologize for mentioning you in the heat of that moment in my first post to William. My argument is with him and not you. My mentioning you more a feeling I got on how things work arround here. I have editted the post…

Darth Neo, stop derailing the thread. Get back on topic, please.
There is a valid argument here started by William (not me) that needs to be resolved before I continue posting here again. Don’t tell me to shut up.
If you don’t like it don’t read it.
I will point out that Will responded first, on this thread, to Neo’s site. He did it here, instead of pm. it’s his thread, so, meh. But I don’t see how we can expect Neo not to respond also in this thread. If we are to say not to have this discussion, should that not pertain to both participants? All of us? That’s just my thought on it.
however, now we need to get back on track, and talk about Star Wars stuff.
William

Well I am not a fan of these kinds of discussions, but I am persistant when I feel I am being wronged.
However I am not one to hold a grudge, so apology accepted 🙂 All is well.
I will also post the rest of the Star Wars sound bytes here at the end of the week.
Cheers,

plus the ones i extract mostly have no name, just the main file i extracted them from. so for lego star wars, the naming scheme is dat_000001….dat_002000
there’s a lot of sfx. a lot a lot…
most of which have no titles, so you’ll have to listen to every single one and name it yourself and delete the ones you dont like. more like delete thousands you dont like lol.
they are clear of other sound/music/dialog.
i’ve got other people requesting the same thing.
i still might do it but it will prolly take a couple weeks to organise it and make a "best of"…
i’m still trying to sort it all out for meself lol.
great work on these guys.
gah, I looked at the sfx I’ve extracted over the years from various Star Wars games for PC and the Properties on all the folders combined are thus:
10,630 Files 193 Folders
Type: All of type File Folder
Location: (my computer)
Size: 540 MB (567,008,026 bytes)
Size on Disk: 561 MB (588,886,016 bytes)
The games are:
Battlegounds and Expansion
Jedi Knights 2 Jedi Outcast
Knights of the Old Republic
Republic Commando
Pod Racer
and some random game I can’t remember.
File formats are .WAV and .MP3.
Although the WAV formats have different properties, not the standard WAV with a bitrate of 1411.2 Kbps/44.1 KHz/Stereo.
Example #1
Battlegrounds star wars\SOUNDS_DRS-0000000001.wav

Some of the games have a folder structure for weapons/dialog/places/events/etc. And some don’t have any file names or file structure.
The ones not organized were done using the only tool there is available to extract the sounds from the given game. And the tools were developed to do a simple extraction rather than find the internal names and folder structures. I don’t know anything about programming otherwise I’d work on the tools to help make extractions more organized.
For the games without any structure, it can get really messy. It’s mostly the newer games for newer systems, Vista/Win 7 compatible that don’t give any structured support. The Knights of the Old Republic, Republic Commando, and Battlegrounds games have no structure. They’re only listed as SOUNDS_DRS-0000000001.wav, SOUNDS_DRS-0000000002.wav, etc.
The old games like Pod Racer and JK 2 are structured and named already. They were the easiest to collect as that is how they appeared when the game was installed.
The new games encrypt the files into one massive container.
SO, if anyone is still interested, I can archive and upload what I have, as I have them. I won’t go through anything and name the files or even separate the dialog and sfx files into separate folders. You’ll get one single folder with over 1,500 unknown/unnamed files for Knights of the Old Republic.
The tools developed to extract the files for the games have not had any updates, nor have the developers continued to expand on their tool.
I can tell you though, that despite the quality outlook and the disorganized structure, that they still work for what you need.
If you’re going to use them for video editing, they still work. There’s plenty to find, ship sounds, elevators, robots, ambiance, drones, alarms/klaxxons, vehicle movements, the Pazaak game sounds, explosions, rumbling, creaks, ronks (that creaking sound ships make when it’s adjusting to a new atmosphere/pressure against the ship’s exterior), etc.
Here’s a video edit I did adding much Star Wars effects from these game rips into the existing video.
4:08 to 4:38 I removed the original audio entirely and reworked a new sound design using mostly Star Wars, Transformers, Terminator Salvation and Stargate.
Some dialogue thrown in from Angels & Demons (creating the God Particle scene, the announcements over the speaker system during the creation process).

The Pod Racer collection seems to the only game that contains the infamous Klaxxon from ESB…

I will need at least 5 votes to upload the archives (each game gets their own archive and link).

All these sound effects provided in this rar archive you provided are direct rips from the official star wars soundboard and/or rips from different games. Some of them are available for 14 years. The fact that they are rare is false and there is absolutly no risk for Burtt.
Just wanted to make that clear.
Greetings, Indy
you’ve had what Ben sent me personally, I would have to call you on it!

For an example:
Take the "TIE fighter sounds.wav" file, listen to it, and then listen to the Tie Fighter sounds on the soundboard on starwars.com. Exactly the same amount of used sounds, and exactly the same order (there are more Tie Fighter sounds recorded AND already available as you can see among other uploads of some users here). The elevator sounds are exactly the same that you can rip from the Jedi Knight 1 game.
And because you never heard from them doesnt make them more exclusive. And why do people have to share every little tiny bit of sound they know exists? O.o
I absolutely dont blame your effort and your upload, willing to share these with us. The only thing that disturb me is your description 😉
Well, far be it from me to ever want to "disturb" you, so I guess I’ll stop looking for any of those INDY SFX for you, huh?

I cant remember that I asked you to, but that doesnt matter. If you want to go completely off-topic, I can tell you that I already have Indy SFX 🙂
But it could be nice if you would react to my example with the tie fighter sounds and tell me your point of view. If Burtt has send you the files, maybe you could ask him why all this should be kept down low. The files are available on the official site, free for everyone to use and even to send them to friends all over the web. Serious, maybe he meant it serious but just dont know that the official site has released them.

Reviews of the material are welcomed.
(little-known-about) is right! I’ve never heard anything thing about it. Very nice find!

Have you forgotten? Sparktank is the person who put up the very rare and impossible to find "48 hours" score, and then deleted the link after 100 people downloaded it! The rest of the crew here got FUCKED, so if you’re waiting for him to do something like upload a link of SW sounds for FREE, then you will have a very LLLLOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG wait!
And if you think that Indyjones will put up any sound effects, guess again! Not going to happen, EVER!

That would be me! lol
No, someone else with an "Indy" something name had requested it first.

Well, there are ALOT more SFX out there, from Star Wars, and TREK, and others as well. FIND THEM!!!! 🙂
William
Okay, so I’ve been organizing my archives recently and found my Star Wars rips.
I’ve got some SW games and decided to rip the SFX from them.
I searched online for extraction tools to rip the sound files in their original, native format.
They’re not recorded with any sound-capture tool or anything.
Games range from Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, Pod Racer, Lego Star Wars (one or both them), Republic Commandos, Battlefront (one or both of them).
I’ll organize them and archive them for uploads.
The filenames will be generic, lucky if there’s a proper file name.
Some of the tools don’t search for proper file name structures so it’s very generic with a simple base name followed by an increasing number.
I should have a set upload this week, to multiupload.com.
I’ll have to trawl through my own archives of stuff, see what there is.
Not wanting to reopen an old wound, but that argument about sharing or not sharing stuff… I find it a little absurd and very selfish that someone won’t share something that isn’t even theirs to begin with. That sort of precious behaviour doesn’t really belong in a sharing environment in my opinion. When you’re contributing and/or taking from a forum that is basically sharing material that doesn’t even belong to you, I really don’t get how you can be like that.

Well, if you think that is bad, check out my "Space:1999" sound effects. I had gotten them YEARS ago from a source, and placed them here. I got blasted from one person, who had only signed up here because someone on this site had alerted him that HIS SFX from 1999 were being placed here WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION! Come to find out that he took them from one of the 1999 sites, and put them on his site, acting like they were HIS SFX alone! I had taken the old FX, and remastered them into a stereo format, from the tape copies that I had gotten from someone INSIDE the studio system, and then they were also given to an English fan, to put on his site. This third party started trouble with me on the board, trying to say that I had stolen his SFX and claimed them for my own. Fortunately, alot of our people blasted this punk off of the board! I would really LOVE to find out who the jerk was, on this board, who told him that I had placed them up here!

When you install the game it’s all there in wav files already, so there’s not so much ripping you have to do.
These ones have somewhat of a naming scheme to them. They’re "as is" from the game install. No renaming, no transcoding.
This contains the klaxxon alarm from Empire Strikes Back when the two ships are about to collapse….
"TAKE EVASIVE ACTION!"

Will upload more soon.

I uploaded the sounds (effects and voices) from Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y5EWNZZV) and Star Wars Dark Forces (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E7OEGIMO). They have the original names but can be identified pretty well.
I dont know if they have been uploaded before, I havent checked the "COMPLETE" archive yet.
the shadows of the empire sounds contain 4 sounds for the millenium falcon 🙂
Thanks!
Thanks

Please send me the link for the STAR WARS sfx – I am new to this forum and don’t know my way around just yet. Thanks for the post!

That seems rather petty, to me. Everybody knows the Varese Sarabande rule. All he really had to do was put "PM for links" on those, surely.
..please be diplomatic….Gregs posts are awesome and everybody can get a solution without driving someone away
