Many thanks.
Windwood? are you serious?
Windwood would be me skydiving naked with Ursula Andress in 1962 above Jamaica.
Try again.

Your Welcome….Wildwood deserves the credit.

The covers to the album, though (see:
Soundtrack List Covers: 2010: The Year We Make Contact – Complete (David Shire) (http://soundtracklistcovers.blogspot.co.uk/2009/05/2010-year-we-make-contact-complete.html)
for scans) don’t mention Kamen’s name at all. From what is on the notes, I’d assume Shire wrote them.
Am I getting something horribly wrong here?
The movie/book was great, as was the score. Grand in scope and quite thought provoking. I remember seeing this during it’s 1st week at a Times Square theater and the crowd was quiet (which is beyond rare for the old Times Square).

Your Welcome!
I remember my mother taking me to see 2001 when it first came out and 16 years later I took my mom to see 2010! to have Times Square quit back then was rare indeed. I still watch both movies! but with both my sons (30 & 27) and we all just sit there with deep thoughts running through our minds, then we all start talking at the same time on what we think the movies mean!! LOOOL what fun we have…

Tracks#26 & #27 are composed by Michael Kamen, that is why I moved them to last in order on this edition.
When I initially did the tagging I neglected to change the artist name on those two tracks.
Michael Kamen’s name is not mentioned on the cover art because the whole thing is a bootleg, if it had been a proper release, credit would have been given.
Mmmm…Interesting coincidence. I think Ursula Andress might have given me my first wood.:P
Mine was Raquel Welch, in One Million Years B.C. and it never went away! ๐ who needs Viagra.

LOOOOOOOL in more ways the one….

Of course. In my naivety, I actually thought this was a genuine release. Doh!
Your Welcome!! but the real thanks goes to WildwoodPark!!
Scott
I can only speak for myself!! Nah, just spreading the wealth… ๐ Your Welcome
Scott
One question though… this version seems to eliminate my favorite track from the score, which I think was called "Earth/Space" — the music that plays as Floyd trains for his mission. Anyone know where that track is?

Awesome! Thanks a ton for this! Now I’m in the mood to watch this again. People talk about Gravity or Europa Report as these benchmarks for accurate and realistic sci-fi movies but I’d argue that 2010 still matches them for authenticity and realism. More epic too.
Your Welcome!
