I’m pretty excited about MGS and FFX. I also hope they find a new voice actor for Yuna. I can’t stand her voice.
The reason I haven’t made a thread about it is because I didn’t think any of the news so far was very interesting to other people here. Monster Hunter 3G and 4 being announced is the highlight for me, so far. There’s a few things about the 3DS I’ve been excited about and the new Skyward Sword footage has got me pretty pumped for that game.
I haven’t read through all the Sony announcements yet, though I’m about to. I was keeping track of a live blog of their conference for maybe 30 minutes and nothing interesting was talked about so I decided to finish Trials and Tribulations instead.
Edit: 3 to 5 hours of battery life in the Vita? Seems like Sony have been a little disingenuous about that…
I was hoping there’d be word of MH4 coming to the Vita, but nope. Oh well, I’m sure we’ll see it announced eventually. There is no way Sony will let that franchise slip through their fingers so easily.
thats why i read magazines for the TGS, they only talk about stuff that will get overseas.
You’re also forgetting the massive amounts of announcements/reveals companies have made about what games they’re going to show at TGS.
So no, not really.
not really.
absolutely.
gotta love me some ace combat.
then again, i saw the trailer with gameplay, and seems to be getting over the top actiony.
maybe this time i can go to the highest altitude, speed down to the lowest, and enjoy the battle from above?
On PSV battery topic. I really dont mind as long as they deliver on the games front. Im not saying that you cant enjoy 3DS though, to each his or her own.
I think it has a decent chance of localization.
Lol…so true.
I’m not fussed about Sony these days, nor am I really excited about handhelds or consoles much. Whatever they can do, a PC can do better.
PC is great if you have a good one, and I think all multiplatform games should be developed on them instead of games getting inferior ports.

modern air combat is all about engaging the enemy from 200 miles away with heat seeking missiles.
thats why i love ww2 air combat games, to kill, you have to be as close as you possibly can withouth killing yourself.
i quess, they are implementing that method into this AC. thats gool i guess. ill have to wait and see for myself.
Speaking of WWII aerial combat, I cant wait to hear more about World of Warplanes, FTP but from a great dev.
Has there been any news on that new DMC abortion?

Really? For at least two years now $900 dollars has been able to get you a near top of the line PC – far better than the PS3 and 360.
Honestly, buying a computer that can run games as well as the 360 and PS3 can (720p, 30FPS and 2xAA) should only cost you about $400. For around $600 you should be able to play most games on at least medium settings at 1080p and 60FPS. A monitor isn’t included in the price of either of those, though.
I can run Crisis at max settings but I cant record it well with fraps, Its a good trooper.

But the costs of something superior to a console is still more expensive than a console. 250 for base PS3, Irc about 200 for 360 (IDK i got mine from a friend). I dont regret spending the money though.
Just sayin’
I definatly believe that PC can do more than consoles, I love fooling around with dev tools in source and cryengine 2 and 3.

Worst TGS in years. Nintendo pissed me off again by adding more crap to the totally useless 3DS and Sony squandered all the good will I’ve had toward them lately (I even bought a PS3 a while back) with that shitty news linked in the OP.
Agreed, E3 and Gamescom and even PAX owned TGS this year.
It would be awesome if they made a futuristic flight game in a time frame and tech set like DE:Human Revolution. Wishful thinking at its worst, though.
However they have the worst damned preorder bonus: an F-4 Phantom II (an outdated as fuck aircraft dating back to the 60s)
I havent played it since it came out and I still have a bad taste in my mouth.
They focused too much on the portable systems rather than actual gaming content (compared to previous years). Hell, no mention of the 360/ps3/wii-u (or at least not as much as you would want to hear about it).
