Russell Garcia is a pretty unknown composer to most i guess, but he passed away this last Sunday, so i think that could be nice to put this up here, in memoriam for him. As for this album it is not the original soundtrack of The Time Machine, but a re-recording of the same score. Also contains a suite of another Garcia score, Atlantis: The Lost Continent.

Excellent score. It sometimes sounds like ‘The Firebird’.

‘The Time Machine’ is still a fond memory. I remember clearly when the Morlock bangs his head to death and turns into a skeleton in a couple of seconds. Impressive for a very young lad! Now Iif Yvettes Mimieux was really sexy she has nothing to do with the Weena character of the book. A must read BTW.
