Sorry for the small delay, I’m sure you’ve been waiting for these! These are the same rips I put on YouTube (well technically, those were WAV rips exported in HD video). Both are pretty good albums. WaRM2 is… I’m not sure how to put it. A little by the numbers, so to speak. Solid arranges but nothing really stands out hugely. HOLIC has some kick ass tunes, but it also depends on how much you like Japanese singing.

Incidentally, as you may have found these tracks on YouTube, I’ve been looking for new ways to distribute music to people, and YT seems to be popular. Of course I don’t plan to discontinue sharing MP3s. However, with how fast Victor Entertainment came down on HOLIC, I’m a little wary of hosting rips on TMMN directly. I am looking into perhaps purchasing a subscription to a file sharing service, but I’m not sure which is the best. Of course Victor can go after those too, but at least it’s not the actual site getting into legal hot water.

But I dunno how long that’ll take to work out (your advice is appreciated), so for now enjoy them the usual way!

I always thought that TMMN would have trouble with all those music rips on their site, specially since Capcom Unity started to publish some news and articles from your site. I think a third party site would work better, with only having the rips from older games in the main site…

I was hoping they’d be around 320kbps or so, but since they are ripped straight from the soundtrack, I won’t mind as much.

Haven’t listened to Holic yet (but I know I’ll probably hate most of it). As for Rock Men 2, yeah, nothing really WOWS me too much. Still, I think I like it a bit more than the first one. My favs atm are Metamorphose and Blast Hornet (best version of his theme so far). I really could have done without the Xover theme, as it seems to live up to the generic uninspired spirit of the "game".

I’m still waiting for the version of "X vs Zero" that DESERVES to be called as such. The original and all arrangements I’ve heard so far just don’t cut it. The original has some nice ideas, but it sounds like it’s missing a lot. I want something more complex, more epic and ominous sounding, like the Wily Boss Medley on the 25th Rock Arrange CD. That was great. A battle theme between X and Zero deserves to be way more.
