Now I did flip when I saw this posted here (for reasons I feel like I shouldn’t even have to state anymore), but I saw no link. So that was ok. Then I did some searching, and I found 3 active listings:

1 for "Skyfall", for "Best Original Song"

1 for "Best Original Score", which is a 2-disc set

1 for "Best Original Song" & "Best Original Score", which is a 3-disc set.

Alright, now I’m going to post the links for all 3, (even if I may regret it) in the order I listed them. Look closely:

Now what you guys cannot see as I type this out is that the URL links for ALL 3 ARE IDENTICAL. Click all 3 links, open each in a different tab, and have a look yourself. I may be an idiot people, but there is one thing I am not, and that, people, is an idiot. I smell fucking bullshit, does anyone else smell it? And to the seller "phineas_finn", I hope you are on here and see this. I’m going to report it.

The third listing is not by Phineas Finn… and that user is very trustworthy. Knowing quite a few people from the Academy, I can say that it is very common for them to release a "Original Song" CD separate from the "Original Score" CDs as they are nominations for different categories.

And maybe they have a good reputation because it’s part of the disguise. I know it’s a different seller, but why are the hyperlinks all identical? There’s no explaining that

And what does "Best Original Song" CD have to do with it? I’m quite aware the song is released solely. It happens ALL THE TIME. What I’m saying is that they’re all the same. I’m.not saying the song cd is fake, it’s probably legit. But why does it have the same URL as the other 2?

Yes, I see that. And again, it’s art of the disguise. Tell me, why do all 3 URLs have this:

No URL should be like that

Help me understand this. You say it’s my machine’s (AKA my computer) cookies. Then how come when I pull it up on my Droid and copy and paste the link, they’re still identical? I need to understand that

The URL doesn’t need the ?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 in the link, just the item’s number.

You could say I have a relative who works at Sony. Also, there’s been a 30-track FYC listed (which I’ve seen), THAT is the real one

Yes, I’ve seen it twice now. The cover is identical to the OST. I think they’re different in fact that the FYC has one cue absent and instead includes "Skyfall", whereas the OST is strictly entirely score by Thomas Newman

I saw the 2 CD score plus song CD combo go for over $600 bucks on eBay. Good to see someone has money.

It looks a little short because the James Bond Themes were edited out and the Komodo Dragon intro version of the title track as well, according to a source on BondAndBeyond…

The end credits upload on youtube is just my rip of it with the dialogue removed, the other tracks are the ones from the 2-disc ‘fyc’ promo that didn’t appear on the OST album. Have ripped the audio from those and am gonna put the film’s soundtrack in a timeline and try to match all the score I have of it to see how much is still outstanding.

You’re incorrect with that as the FYC ommits all the tracks that contained portions (including just a chord) of Monty Norman’s James Bond Theme (not to mention, Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ title track also). I’ve got the FYC and am currently in the process of using it, the OST and a rip of the blu-ray soundtrack to create a complete version of the score. So far, it doesn’t look like there’s that much missing at all…

To be frank, it has a number of annoying edits in it that would probably frustrate you, plus, KFG is working on an edit using it, the OST (and the blu-ray when he gets that), which I don’t want to step on as of yet. However, I will be uploading both FLAC and MP3 versions of it a bit further down the line after KFG’s.

Some people really do have money to burn, but I suppose if it’s something you really want and have the money to buy, it’s worth what it’s worth to you at the end of the day. Personally, I’d pay thousands for a certain instrumental score I’ve been after for years now!

Yes. Thomas Newman didn’t compose it or the title song either. Therefore, they couldn’t exactly submit something that wasn’t all his own work…
