Out of curiosity, what causes this? From what I see, you’re fine most of the time and rarely are the forums turned off.

Why are your server costs so expensive?

we serve hundreds of thousands of dynamic, server-intensive pageviews a day and go through 30TB+ of bandwidth a month. running a site like that isn’t cheap

I just want to ask you, if you sent the rewards for the donations. If so, I have not received any emails till now.
I donated by PayPal, so if I am not mistaken the email-address should be included. If not how can you be sure to whom to send the emails or do you need some additional information? If its a matter of needing more time it would be worth noticing. (If if if :P)

This is not okay and you did not even say something that it will take more than two days… again. So I will never ever donate to you guys again.

My motive was indeed to get access to some game music in a larger scale. But it was OFFERED for the donation, so i wont be ashamed of it.

YOU on the other hand should be ashamed that you promise something that is obvious a lie (which is also called scam). This is something a apology wont do anymore! So for the sake of the community, dont ever offer something you wont deliver again so i wont do any ruckus if you do so!

And please… dont play some knight in shining armor, Herr Salat. It does not solve this problem at all. It makes me more angry because it seems that you dont try to put on my shoes. And i know that familybusiness is very important (i stated that already), but a single post for saying, that the promised reward will take longer would make things clear(but why is there no post?!). It would take little time for an answer.

Please tell us, why you dont reply to this thread. You dont have to be afraid or something like that. Just be honest. This is at least what you owe your donating community because you were the initiator for all of this.

I know, curiosity killed the cat. But luckily I dont have to lose anything till i donated:D.

i apologize, it really was never meant to take this long. the initial implementation took a lot longer than expect then on top of that i’m dealing with some personal issues as well as security issues (which unfortunately have to take priority)
