I extracted the music files from the japanese disc of the game ( xbox 360 version )
at least, what i think are the music files… since they have " BGM " written in the name.
However they are .xxx unreal engine files ( like inside the Lollipop Chainsaw game ) and i couldn’t find an easy way to convert them, so here they are in the original .xxx format:
MEGA (http://adf.ly/TO4oN)
If someone knows how to convert them quickly, please share a tutorial or somenthing like that, thanks!

Mine was just the normal game, the soundtrack is in the fan and premium edition.
Also, i think the soundtrack cd is, like for other games, not complete
In this rip there are 95 files ( if they are all songs ) much more than in the soundtrack cd.
By the way, i’m currently playing the game and some songs are very repetitive, while others are catchy
also i’m a bit disappointed that even if this is an Akira Yamaoka sountrack… this time it seems there aren’t songs with Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, i love when the two of them work together ๐

I also noticed that ๐
I was waiting a song with Mary Elizabeth.
But I was watching some walkthroughs of the game and there are ambience tracks very interesting and similar to Silent Hill’s songs and I like them a lot. For example, I love the song that plays in the title screen of Killer is Dead (the same Scarlet’s choir of Silent Hill: Homecoming).
The Soundtrack CD always is different from the in-game music and I really want it too. But the gamerip is also very good (I’m just trying to convert the files)
EDIT: I found this, could be of use: HOW TO: Extract Textures, Meshes & Animations out *.xxx Files | ModTheater (http://www.modtheater.com/threads/how-to-extract-textures-meshes-animations-out-xxx-files.35401/)
EDIT 2: Maybe this as well: XeNTaX ? View topic – need help! What compression on Gears of War? (http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?t=2466)
You mean "Suda 2.0", right? If not, then you’re wrong.
Because The Silver Case and original Flower Sun and Rain were bestsellers and had some rereleases.
Never, never forget difference between Kill the Past and Punks not Dead
KtP games are like David Lynch of videogames, killer7 was the last one of that though
PnD are more in Tarantino/Rodriguez, started with NMH and up
These are all the audio files (minus two mono XMA audio files that were 2KBs in size and I couldn’t be bothered making a custom header just for two audio files that were so small) that were in the .XXX files that Franky・D・θάνατος posted.
Anyway, just run the "ConvAll.bat" and ToWAV will convert the XMA files to WAV for you ๐
Killer Is Dead (XMA Streams) (https://mega.co.nz/#!UdcHEaJb!QHAZwi1861BCfkvoDVd8Li5UW-A9pqcJemhVYQ_flJg)
By the way, I will wait for the US Release of the Soundtrack too.
Thanks ๐

Am not saying Suda51’s games are bad, am just saying Japan isn’t very fund of Grasshopper games, for example like what happened to the release night party of No More Heroes, when Suda was in the store marketing the game and literally only one, or two people are buying the game. He’s games mostly sell fairly decent in the western regions because his games are targeted more toward the western influences.
but yeah ure right
I’m looking for the title screen one, and I can’t find it D:
Both soundtracks have been released and neither one has the final boss song, that classical piece remixed.
Personally, I feel dissapointed with this soundtrack. I was expecting something different. I’m an Akira Yamaoka fan and I think this soundtrack wasn’t really composed by him (the only song who sounds like his works is the title screen one that is missing in the both soundtracks).
By the way, I’m very excited with the announcement of RIME, a game by the creators of Deadlight (Tequila Works), for which Akira Yamaoka is composing…. ๐
So the title screen and final boss track are the same?
And seeing how it is a remix, they should have included them in at least one of the soundtracks released, like Catherine did.
Well, about 10 of tracks are crazy as hell! WTF techno/breakbeat/drill’n’bass/rock/freejazz things 0o
Though the rest is meh
You’re right, they are quite similar, the title screen and Scarlet of SH. And no wonders they got the same composer, nice finding.
The Scarlet’s song appears in a large number of songs by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, iFuturealist, Shadows of the Damned).
Seems the way. Btw the track of Final Boss phase 2, is it available?
Was it there?
Can you post it from a video on youtube so i know what is the one? i might have it
In the soundtrack: Killer is Dead – Never Mind – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9us94qTTCjY)
In the game: PS3 – Killer is Dead playthrough/Normal (Mission 12 – Chosen by the Moon) [720p] – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydzKC3B7Dt8#t=21m07s)
Pay heed, there will be a chorus during the fight (not the one played when Mondo uses his evasion)

This is a little more complicated. The track is used elsewhere, so instead of using two versions, they have just one and then add the chantings on the boss when something triggers it. Because i still didn’t played the game and i don’t know when it kicks in, you have here the original song and chantings.

Then that was the weird feeling I had. Upon closer inspection I realize that the trigger for the chants is when David performs an attack. When he charges with his sword or he performs a Dark Matter Meteor Rain, the chant plays just when he employs an attack. Imma download this anyway and see what you made of it, thanks.
Can you post a video with the exact part?
Killer is Dead – Episode 9 Walkthrough (The Giant who Stole a Planet) Gameplay Playthrough – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSenhs1YTSY) It’s at about 6:50 into the video. Actually, I just beat the game a few days ago and it put the name of the song near the end of the credits. -_- It’s "Bossman" by Jesse and The Bones. Not sure why they didn’t put it into the soundtrack, but at least I figured it out. XD
