It’s available in lossless on Qobuz, too.
Probably the same release.
Since Qobuz isn’t well used, I imagine Qobuz had it since the day it hit digital retail sales back in ’06 or whenever Qobuz obtained licences to sell in lossless.
It should be identical to the iTunes (lossy) release but from Qobuz (lossless source; hence 320kbps conversion; although 320 vs. V0 is highly subjective; objectively, a lossless source, it don’t matter if it’s 320 or VBR-0).
They also have the just released ‘Into the Woods’ instrumental songs edition on there too I’ve just noticed. However, I’m not sure if I’d be able to audibly detect a difference between that and the iTunes release to be frank.
Frank or not, the technicality of having a lossless would mean multiple things:
1) people can convert to any format in any bitrate mode they want (MP3=CBR@320; MP3=VBR-0;AAC;OGG;etc)
2) people can edit any which way they want (suites; normalization; etc)
Just checked Qobuz and couldnt find it…..
Thanks….. trying to purchase it but its not available in your country ….. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh …. how the hell could I get round that…….. ;(
use a proxie, vpn or ask someone from europe to purchase it for you. send them the money 20 euros (includes paypal fees) and voila.
i can do that or ask zardoz66. he also bought many releases there. we both are from europe, so should be able to get it for you 🙂
Ostgems, thanks for the shared link.

How does one use a Proxy or VPN
VPN is a monthly subscription (or other plans available based on provider).
Instructions available on provider’s site.
Proxy can be free or paid.
Free usually sucks and is extremely slow (like dial-up).
Paid is often better, but might as well use a VPN service.
I think SpotShield (VPN) or something is one that’s decent for a free service (with paid option available).
Has anybody got their hands on the lossless version? I don’t have a VPN and Qobuz isn’t available in my country 🙁
