Have a nice weekend 🙂
Never heard of this, but took a chance, because Russian spy stories are awesome. Loving it so far. Beautiful themes and instrumentation. Thanks for all your rare shares!
This is not a spy tale. It tells the interesting true story of Ivan Sanshin, a movie projectionist for the KGB club, who on his wedding night in 1939, is routed out of his apartment and whisked into the bowels of the Kremlin. Certain he is being arrested for a minor professional mishap, he instead finds himself drafted into the job of personal projectionist for Stalin. His predecessor, he is told, died of a heart attack when yelled at!
