NOW 100% COMPLETE
A very special THANK YOU to vje11 for supplying me with the lossless files needed to complete this project!
This is, without question, one of my all-time favorite animated movies. The music, both the Vince DiCola score and the rock songs (and maybe even the Dirk Diggler version of "The Touch") have stuck with me all these years, a sure-fire instant nostalgia shot in the arm! So I thought I’d try editing the tracks to recreate the order & flow of the music and songs, as they’re used in the movie. It turned out to be a lot more work than I imagined, as nearly all of the tracks were edited for the movie, with sections being repeated or placed in a different order, and sometimes even taken from completely different tracks! "Moon Base 1 Destroyed" made me give up for nearly 2 weeks until I discovered a section that was needed… six tracks later in "Destroy The Matrix".
Anyway, here’s my lossless recreation of the movie’s music track. A couple of notes:
– This Film Mix doesn’t perfectly sync up against the movie’s audio track. Most of the movie’s music plays just a tiny bit faster than the audio on the albums (in some cases, it’s slightly slower.) Frankly, editing everything was enough of a chore & I saw no real gain in trying to adjust the tempo to match.
– Since all 39 tracks add up to a run time of over 84 minutes, I’ve included a bonus version of Spectre General’s "Nothin’s Gonna Stand In Our Way", which doesn’t segue into "Crash Landing", and is probably the best place to split it over two CDs if so desired. I’ve also included Movie Edits of the songs as a separate upload, in case anyone wants non-segued, isolated versions of those.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** If you downloaded the previous two-folder version of this mix (in .wav format,) this new upload isn’t really compatible with the old one. The track separations aren’t 100% identical and won’t run into each other correctly, so you can’t just drop in the newly-completed tracks. But, I’ve converted the mix to FLAC now, so it’s a little less to (re-)download, yay!
Now… Light Our Darkest Hour!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! At the request of JohN1986, I’ve added in the robotic-voiced "robots in disguise" line into track #2, the Main Titles mix of the Transformers theme. It’s a separate upload, and should transition from track #1 and into track #3 just fine if you want to swap it out. I’m not totally satisfied with the sound, but it’s probably the best I can do unless there’s a pure, isolated recording of that line available somewhere. Offer expires while you wait, operators are standing by.

Till All Are One π
(sigh) Yup, Mega received takedown notices from [email protected], for which I have to fault myself for sharing a link to this thread with 3 people via PM over at TFW2005. I’ve never had anything taken down before, so I’m presuming one or more of those 3 people didn’t actually want the music :/
So… any good recommendations for 1GB hosting?
Haha, thanks. I’d forgotten I still have an account there, I use it so rarely. Upping now, I’ll post links in the morning.
Sweet!! π
I’ve been able to get them in .mp3 format, but not lossless. I’ve currently got the .mp3s temporarily set as a placeholder until I can get the lossless versions of:
09. Showdown
17. Destruction of Moon Base Two (II)
23. The Matrix Survives
26. Judgement / Rescue
I only use the last 15 seconds of #09, the last 7 seconds of #17, the last 10 seconds of #23, as well as the first 15 seconds of #26, so it’s about as minimal as it can be. But, then it’ll be complete.
I have this in lossless.
If i have the time i send you the link. π
By the way, AWESOME Film Mix & Thank you so much.
If i have the time i send you the link. π
Thanks, looking forward to you having the time, haha π
Good to know it’s out there. There’s currently one for sale on ebay.
Yeah, but it’s not exactly worth $200 to me for the 40 seconds of audio I don’t already own, haha. And by "own", I mean the albums I’ve already purchased. π
I haven’t heard from vje11 yet, so if anyone else has the 4 tracks listed above in lossless, don’t be shy! π
Some of the tracks on the 2016 CD release were renamed from previous releases. In this case, "In The Belly of the Monster" from LTDH was renamed as "Reunited" on the new CD. In my mix, it’s "Reunited" (though the actual music used in that scene is in the latter part of the track.)
Ah. Forgive me for randomly forgetting that this was a film mix so the tracks wouldn’t have the same lengths facepalm. Thanks for the reply!
I send you all the Tracks you need now. π
Indeed you have, and I have now completed and uploaded the final 100% complete mix. Thank you again for all of your help!
Also, is there any way to upload "Lighting Their Darkest Hour" in lossless on its own? I can’t find it anywhere, and it would make for a nice companion.
If vj311 gives his permission, I could. He indicated to me that the files were only for me, presumably because they were being used for this. I know that the Botcon albums are something of a badge of honor among fans, and I wouldn’t want to abuse the privilege, so to speak.

That makes a lot of sense. Perhaps just PMing could be fine, but it’s his choice in the end.
PM sent. π
Thanks pal for all the hard work to finalize this kick-ass soundtrack/score!

Any Chance of that in iTunes size?
I’ve decided to actually rip the full main titles from the film itself, since the recent SF! BD release had a DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio track. Turns out not only was it clean, but it’s also mixed differently compared to the OST release. The small downside is that there seems to be 2 small glitches in the audio (the second being the most noticeable at the end), but they’re merely minor. I’ve also decided to boost the volume on the audio for it to match up with the other versions of the track on the set (though the unaltered files are also included).

Hopefully, this proves useful. I had wanted to rip the end titles as well, but the end of Unicron SFX was at the start of the track, so it wouldn’t have worked.
Ya. I think the lack of password made it easier for MF to take it down. So I updated the links to include them. If it doesn’t work, then oh well.
Doesn’t seem to help, still getting the TOS page. Well, thanks for the effort! π
Try Jdownloader2 then. The links themselves are still up and running, but it’s probably blocked where you live.
