Apparently I couldn’t find it. At least I made it easier.
Care to share? FLAC is always the favorite!
Not going to happen, at hans-zimmer.com. Someone had contacted Paramount about any new’s of a expanded score. Paramount said no, and that this one was leaked onto the internet by "accident’. It might show that Paramount had the intention of releasing an actual expanded score of Transformers on retail but since the one was leaked on the internet, the declined. Doing the same with Transformers 2.
This one has more on it than the one I DL last year!
-AirElemental
When was it listed on Ebay? I’ve been looking forever for that score!
But on main topic, I have to say, this is one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever composed. The Arrival for Earth track makes me tear up every time I hear it.
Thank you!
dnaught or anyone else with this score in FLAC format, can you please share or point me in the right direction? Much appreciated!
hah open your eyes dude! ^_^

disk one works?
will re up now!
Thanks!
You are my hero!!
so is there no legit lossless version?
i’m still taking the flac one, because it makes me feel better to have .flac instead of .mp3, but i would love a legit one.
thanks again!
anyhow, thanks for the expanded set. i really like the soundtrack ๐
I just copy/pasted those tracks into this version myself.
btw Post # 100… NBD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks ffshrine for catering to my inevitable procrastination.
I just copy/pasted those tracks into this version myself.
Even with those, it’s still incomplete unfortunately… but not by much. Just some Hoover Dam scenes that still haven’t surfaced, including the actual "Megatron Awakens" cue. Most of teh Hoover Dam stuff is tracked from other parts of the film (i.e. Megatron Awakens=parts of "Soccent Attack") but remixed in a way (mostly the fading of some instrumentation) to be somewhat different and interesting enough (i.e when the peeps are fighting off Frenzy it is mostly "Sector 7" mixed with "Scorponok" music).
That being said, what I really gained from this set was being able to finally mix in the 40 seconds or so of ominous music, that plays as Blackout lands, onto the ending of "My Ladies"!
Found a couple in FLAC, but none of them were true lossless; only the tracks off the retail album were true lossless.
Adobe Audition views weren’t promising for any lossless version.
Anyone have Audition screenshots of the lossless version posted here??
will be artwork with 300dpi and CMYK for best printing results ๐
Qatar is the second track btw… it’s right before "soldiers arrive."
ALSO: i checked both my versions of the score. the so-called "alternate long version" of Optimus on the 60 track edition is the same exact track on this expanded edition. So you’re not missing anything.
I just copy/pasted those tracks into this version myself.
Any chance you could send me these too? Please…? ๐
right here guys
No fx at all. Clean sound, all of it.

Sorry to burst yours, but even with no interest in this set I have at least read the thread… Looks like your bud had some time to waste.
No need to be an ass hole about it.
Yep sorry, you surely have read the thread otherwise you wouldn’t have found the Flac version… My bad. ๐ <= (useful yellow sign not to appear beeing an ass hole…even though…)

Could someone re-up these songs? I’m getting an error message from mediafire.
same here
thats weird… the version i downloaded from this thread the track before ‘Speeding Autos’ is ‘Nokia Bot’
Wait, so what’s the deal with this FLAC version on the last page? Is it actually lossless or was it transcoded from lossy source?

Is it after "Bumblebee" but before "Frenzy"?
OH MY GOD!!
Tranformers Revenge of the Fallen complete score w/ no SFX?????????
Could this be true? COuld it?
Meh I want this NOW!!!
Is it after "Bumblebee" but before "Frenzy"?
on mine this is how i have it:
43. Speeding Autos
44. Bumblebee
45. Frenzy
46. Megatron Awakens (Unused)
47. Road Reunion
41.) Decepticons
42.) Nokia Bot
43.) ROAD REUNION
44.) Speeding Autos
45.) Bumblebee
46.) Frenzy
My Disc 1 ends at Frenzy
41.) Decepticons
42.) Nokia Bot
43.) ROAD REUNION
44.) Speeding Autos
45.) Bumblebee
46.) Frenzy
My Disc 1 ends at Frenzy
Road Reunion is after Bumblebee.. i know that for sure… Bumblebee is the cue that plays when he is shrinking the cube down… then Frenzy is basically when Megatron awakens and what not… the frenzy going on at the S7 base… Road Reunion is when they are on the highway & Sam sees Optimus and the other Autobots & says: "It’s Optimus."
Because the version I have lists it like this:
42. Nokia Bot
43. Speeding Autos
44. Bumblebee
45. ROAD REUNION
46. Frenzy
(Disc 2) 1. Megatron Awakens
Because the version I have lists it like this:
42. Nokia Bot
43. Speeding Autos
44. Bumblebee
45. ROAD REUNION
46. Frenzy
(Disc 2) 1. Megatron Awakens
yes… i have it after Megatron Awakens… b/c really… the Megatron Awakens track is unused… so yea.. again.. this is how i believe it goes:
43. Speeding Autos
44. Bumblebee
45. Frenzy
46. Megatron Awakens (Unused)
47. Road Reunion
As for TF2, that track list posted on the Zimmer forums seems way too short. I documented 74 tracks (yes, quite a lot longer, right?) which does not account for the fact that several tracks have at least two cues in them. I have yet to get them all into mp3 form though, because of all the blasted SFX. After a while of working on it, I’ve thought, "This is ridiculous. No matter how I edit it, its still going to sound terrible." I seem to recall a post somewhere that Takehiro might be working on an expanded release without SFX, so we’ll have to wait for that.
Not quite. Most of the music for Megatron’s Awakening/Rampage is merely a remixed and re-edited version of "Soccent Attack"… just as the majority of the music for the Hoover Dam scenes are scored with remixed/re-edited versions of previous cues like "Sector 7" and "Scorponok" etc.
"Frenzy" however underscores the scene with the Nokia-Bot, therefore it should be placed immediately following the Decepticon roll-call music.
"Nokia-Bot" takes place immediately after Frenzy, underscoring the scene where we see Brawl, Barricade and Bonecrusher en route to the Dam and Starscreams arrival there as well.
Also, "Speeding Autos" should be placed on Disc 1 in between "Witwicky" and Take ‘Em and Bake ‘Em as it underscores the arrival of Sector 7 at Sam’s house, mixed with a bit of "Deciphering The Signal" (film version). I’m sure it was originally composed for the "Road Reunion" scene, but was ultimately replaced with a sped up segment of "Scorponok" and used instead earlier in the film.
Thank you for FLAC

i asked if he could do ROTF for us.. i wish i knew how to.. i would rip scores from alot of blurays
i would if my computer could read blurays… or at least try to. :/
I do hope there’s a complete score at least this year, and obviously of Dark Of The Moon.
i dont really download movies anymore
There’s a 10 GB MKV/Bluray floating around, with incredible sound: Over 1500 kb/s! And it’s sort of the extended, with 5 extra seconds that make the Forest Fight more epic.
I do hope there’s a complete score at least this year, and obviously of Dark Of The Moon.
its not really anything special… i think i have that version on dvd anyway… a few extra shots… no big deal really

yep… by 3 more tracks… hopefully the runtime is longer.. ROTF was 49:87 & the 1st TF 20 track score is 59:57.. im hoping for a closer to 60 minutes
Dissapointed with the rotf release.
Actually RotF was about 42 mins. Unless you have extra tracks? ๐
Also, I don’t believe I’ve seen something 87 seconds long o.O
True… but those weren’t in the offical release, kinda my point :p
Also, I don’t believe I’ve seen something 87 seconds long o.O
yea.. i just wikipedia it… i checked the 14 tracks i have… adds up to 44:00
Is it genuine?
Why are you ashamed? It’s not like it was your fault it wasn’t included…but wait! What’s this?! By my complete score (DVD rip of course), the track that comes directly before "We’re Locked In" does exist, unless I renamed a few cues. It’s called "Are You LadiesMan217?"
"Are You LadiesMan217?" is in the film mostly how it sounds on any one of the several releases it appears on. The only difference is that the intro is missing in the film, and the actual start of the cue is slightly remixed. It is not that hard to duplicate if you need it so badly.
I’m Talking About The Track "Optimus" Only In Film Version!
I’m Talking About The Track "Optimus" Only In Film Version!

That being said, what I really gained from this set was being able to finally mix in the 40 seconds or so of ominous music, that plays as Blackout lands, onto the ending of "My Ladies"!
Hey, is your version "My ladies" now really altogether with the piece we here as the menu music of the 2-dvd release of TF, played in the movie right before blackout transforms?!
Any chance you could upload that…could not find it anywhere…
– Choose
– Constructicons under Water
– Reedman/Ravage
– Devastator Attacks
– Optimus Drop
I Hope Somebody Has Those Tracks. It’s The Pre-Release Album Or Something?
Also, Snakes, thanks for bringing up an irrelevant point by listing track titles that only appear on one other place in whole entire Internet, which is a thread somewhere that is over a year old: Transformers ROTF Expanded Score "Choose" – TFW2005 – The 2005 Boards (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-movie-discussion/290273-transformers-rotf-expanded-score-choose.html). You’re only pulling information of off a now-defunct thread in a place that nobody here knows any more about now than they did back then.
its only 64 kbps, terrible terrible quality -__-
Awesome sauce, man. Thx a lot.
You have no idea how long I???s searching…uhm…never mind…of course since 2007.
LOL
Thx, buddy.
Appreciate the info, I would???ve ignored the whole score only cause this info was missing to me…
๐
How can you even say that those were real tracks, if the only place they ever appeared was that thread under some forum dedicated to Transformers? Are they ever mentioned anywhere around the hans-zimmer.com forums? Are they included in the track list that was posted on ASCAP?
Any chance you could upload that…could not find it anywhere…
Welp, I’ve STILL yet to get around to it yet actually (family stuff, ya know) but it is actually in the cue entitled "Tense Action (Demo)" and it runs from roughly 00:54 to 01:38 then cuts to roughly 02:43 to 02:53. Hope this helps!
I’m going to sound like a dick now but i’ve made this point sooooo many times it’s hard not to sound like one. Sorry.
The 72 track Score with unused and promo cues IS THE FULL SCORE. Really. Ask for any bit you think it’s missing and i’lll point you to it. Road Reunion? Sped up version of Skorponok. Megatron awakening? Re-edited version of Soccent attack. That entire part of the movie, from the moment right after Bumblebee shrinks the cube till Optimus Sword and a little bit while they fight Frenzy… it’s all re-edited music. The only one i do agree should have it’s own version is the afore mentioned Optimus Film Version…they have those cues in the end of the score without Cellos or Choir… they could have Optimus without the flutes. But the rest… anyone with a good ear and an audio editing program can provide them. Rant OVER. XD
No shit Sherlock, and yes you do sound like a dick. Actually you sound arrogant, presuming everyone involved in (at least) this thread is following you around the boards hanging on every word you type. As you can see here:

…I too just mentioned it on the end of page 5 (believe it or not you’re not the only one to have had this revalation about the Hoover Dam scenes), but not everyone reads entire threads nor every post. And I shant cry that no one heeded my post either. All we can do is inform when we can, but there will ALWAYS be those who don’t see our posts dude. Get over it.
Hey, jmn77, thanks for reading my post informing Raenius before saying exactly what I just said and he already thanked me for. Also, in response to macdawson’s statement: can’t tell if on his side or my side. I have tracks ripped from the DVD to prove that we don’t have everything if you must hear them.
I’m Sorry, But I Don’t Think They Were…. I Wish They Were.
Hey, jmn77, thanks for reading my post informing Raenius before saying exactly what I just said and he already thanked me for.
I was just giving him the time-stamps for "Tense Action (Demo)" so he could easily find the part and/or edit it to what is heard in the film. Just trying to be helpful… sorry for talking to him and offering up some info. I suppose that next time I’ll clear it with you before posting??
No matter what ANYBODY says, there is STILL music not included in this release. There’s quite a lot, actually. I’m interested in hearing these 3 tracks of yours, maybe they’re just some of the many that I can think of.
MEGAUPLOAD – The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I05ZC7DV)
Track 12 – There’s not even anything that remotely sounds like this one on any previous releases, so, yeah…jmn77 and macdawson. (btw, where is macdawson?)
Track 16 – Yes, the intro is SFX-free and eventually the track fades into one of the versions of the Decepticons build-up but the whole middle section is unreleased music. Alternatively: can someone with an audio editing program remove the vocals and reproduce the ambient sounds using only the Decepticons suite?
Track 46 – The intro to this one is also SFX-free, but I don’t know what the whole middle section is. It almost is like a variation on "Arrival to Earth" except with almost everything but the percussion removed. And it fades into Bumblebee, but it definitely does not have the same orchestration as the Bumblebee suite. My editing is kind of sucky on this one. I used the Bumblebee suite to get rid of some of the SFX, but transitions from score to DVD audio are noticeable.

Might track 16 be this one? (mostly?) 45. Decepticons Mobilize (Part 1).mp3 (http://www.mediafire.com/?tmrv410o2dpmb99)
Oh true, good catch :p
How are you gonna basically admit you overreacted towards me earlier and then type some shit like this? What IS your problem?
can someone with an audio editing program remove the vocals and reproduce the ambient sounds using only the Decepticons suite?
Sure, I’d be happy to do that for you… in fact I’d be happy to supply you with a completely clean version, if you weren’t such a whiney cock-fag about everything. No sale.
Why don’t you people join, making something like a "complete scoring infos" thread and work at clearing that all ?… It’s been two or even three years that I caught the 60 tracks-2CD mp3 first version (there was another of more than 50 tracks actually), and I never saw something that worth really more since. Not mentionning the fact that the score is so repetitive than 1CD would be enough, but that’s just my personal opinion. Just to notice, the original expanded has the great advantage to have a linear, regular same quality through all of it, what is much less disturbing than a lot of fan-edit from nowadays, no matter the missing cues. Anyway some should stop waiting for credits for themselves, notably when you don’t exist anymore when your stuff leaks, wich is quite fair I must say.
MEGAUPLOAD – The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PGV1RDNF).
Arial, I think I could be in favor of that suggestion since I, among others, do believe that there is music missing. I’m not sure about how the people on the other end would feel about that collaboration. This isn’t a matter of opinion where someone can say, "Yeah, this is the complete score, because the stuff that is missing is just remixes [or whatever]." All they have to do is go watch the movie and hear music that they then would not be able to find on this massive–yet still incomplete–release.
[not sarcasm] jmn77, I would be interested in knowing how you can remove the vocals without effecting the overall quality of the music. That seems like it’d be a really useful tool to have.

Agreed 100%
Does anybody know if this is Transformers music:
MEGAUPLOAD – The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PGV1RDNF).
Dom and Maria from the bootleg version of Gears of War 2, also by SJ (in the actual score it’s called "With Sympathy" and has vocals mixed). Something very close (or this actual track) was used when Devastator starts climbing the pyramid in RoTF.

I’m still here. Just refraining from making any more comments that bring another shit storm upon me like last time.
As for these 3 tracks… i’ll give you track 12…in principle, i’ll explain that latter
Track 16 – Join tracks 12 – Pentagon to Air Force One and 13 – Main Frame Tampering and voil???.
Track 46 – Initial drums are from track 20 (CD2) – Deciphering the Signal (Alt)+the part that leads up to Bumblebee can be atributed to many tracks, with a few layers peeled off, since its mostly just a beat, personally the closest i found was on CD2 tracks 16 or 17. The final part is Bumblebee.
With that said, you’ll say "It’s not this or that track, they sound different, they have this on, this off". I choose to atribute these differences to editing, mixing and the way each ears these tracks.
I choose to say the Optimus Film version is Optimus. Should there be a version without flutes? Sure, i’d love it. Does it exist? Probably, in some yet unreleased Recording Session type score. But as far as i’m concerned, the track has been released. Flutes and all.
This brings me back to track 12. It may be a new, grail like unreleased track…it may be bits and pieces of percussion and sounds from somewhere else, i ear the Skorponoks beat with faster tempo.
My main point is, if they or you release every piece of music that has a note out of place or is edited or mixed differently we’ll end up with a lot of very similar tracks, many of them sounding like "Angry Camaro" wich yes, it exists and is welcome, trim the 20+ seconds of silence, even better. Would it be worth it loosing our time over it? Personnaly i think not.
The full version of Arrival to Earth…that’s worth it, the Unused or Demo tracks, they’re worth it. Bits and pieces like those, and this is just my opinion, so hold the poison, are not.
Fact is, unless a gentle soul chooses to provide something similar to the 5CD version of Avatar, this is as good as it’s gonna be. I feel fortunate that this has come out and i’m content with it. I wish the same had happened with RoTF and DotM.
You guys choose to think otherwise, that is your right, your quest. I apologize if my previous comment sounded arrogant and dickish (the me being a dick part was just sarcasm, i’m actually a very nice guy XD). That was not my intention. As far as i’m concerned, this subject is closed. Though, and i say this with all my heart, i hope some day you’ll be able to rub a whole sleuth of new music in my face. I really do. But i won’t be holding my breath.
Peace, fellow music lovers ๐
I actually found similarity to the second part of "Sam on the Roof" from Transformers 1. I have it labeled as Transformers music because it sounds so much like it…thanks for clarifying that.
As for your analysis of my tracks, I do not want to argue with anyone as past this point it will just become nit-picky and frivolous, so perhaps both sides will just continue on believing what they will…One last bit of nitpicking from my side though ;): Track 16 has [EDIT] 45 seconds of music that are not included in "Main Frame Tampering," where no vocals are played. As I stated earlier, it would be cool to see those vocals removed, but jmn77 is being a bit rude about it. I feel like I kind of brought this all on myself, but I don’t need other people agreeing with that. We should just leave it where it is and, like you said, just wait until something better comes along.

Not really nitpicking. But it’s a bit like the Optimus track. You do agree that the track is at least similar. It’s a matter of perception. You choose to see it as a new track, i choose to see it as the same with a few layers lost in the mix. Who’s right or who’s wrong? Only SJ could really answer that one. I don’t thing its even a matter of right or wrong. I do agree that having more music, several edits and mixes of any of these tracks, hell, even the isolated elements of any mix, would be awesome. But considering that neither RoTF and DotM will probably have this much music released (let’s hope i’m reeeeeeally wrong there) i’m happy we have at least 99% of what’s in the movie in one form or another and also a few tracks that weren’t used.
And now that you mention it… yeah, it does sound like Sam on the Roof… i had totally missed that. Maybe that’s what they used in RoTF. hmmm.
Aniway, i do commend your passion for this score wich IMHO, is one of the best scores i have ever heard (personal taste), even better if we look at all 3 TF score as a whole.
Carry on.
Hey, now I can totally agree with that statement. It is not new music; it’s just old stuff missing a few things. We could say it is an unreleased version of an existing cue.
:ohgod:
Sir…you must give it a try (one of the greatests piece ever composed!)
Yeah right and I’m Sherlock Holmes, ๐
Now to business: Date of upload please?
Now to business: Date of upload please?
Apparently since a couple days ago. I dont have a tracklisting but I do have a cue listing.
OMG
Lol hey, I’m just happy to hear it’s floating around. I’m not hyperventilating, just excited. But you’re right, nothin until it gets posted (if it ever does, and that’s all I will say)
I know, I know. But at least we know SOMETHING exists, you know? It’s like the King Kong situation
King Kong sessions + complete 1473 page score is pretty easily available as far as I know.
Look at something like Terminator II, The guys at Silva Screen and even Brad himself tried to find the masters or an expanded version but none could be found and the studio apparently doesnt have them anymore. Only a final surround mix exists for one of the largest and most defining movies of all time. Now think about all these other films before the ‘digital age’ and you can start to see how much gets lost.

Its been going around forever lol
No it isnt. I tried very hard to obtain it. At one point I heard Shore didnt even keep a copy but that might be b.s as I didnt hear it from Shore himself. It doesnt exist in any circles as far as I know. I’d love for someone to prove me wrong. There is a rumored version that is on some sites but its just reused cues from 2 previous films and it is a confirmed fake.
I believe Shore does have a copy. I think the author of the book ‘The Music Of The Lord of the Rings Films’ has commented on hearing it and how good it is. Shame we never got to hear it (yet)!
I wouldnt be surprised if Doug has it actually I didnt think about that, last I talked to him he got sent all the mock ups for LOTR.
However, he is EXTREMELY private as is Shore so I doubt its going to get out soon (waits for murphy’s law to take effect and have it leak tomorrow)
can you contact anyone that has it and see if they will upload?
I really want ROTF NOW!

I’m really looking for that cue called "Conspiracy". That’s what I’d love to get, but a complete would be cool to!

Yea Dark Of The Moon if thats the third film.. I dunno, Ive always considered the transformers movies terrible lol.
yep thats the 3rd one.
I lurk these forums mostly. I’ve ripped several music tracks from ROTF and put them on YouTube for everyone to enjoy. I’ve cut out dialogue and sound effects as best I could, but it’s not perfect. I’m sure many of you know how to rip the video and audio from YouTube. But if you want the AIF files I’ll be happy to upload them and PM you the links, just PM me to ask and say thank you. Not bad. I think my favorite cue out of all 2 & a half hours of the film is when Optimus drops out of the C-17 with the Arrival to Earth arrangement. I would love to get that track. Clean, of course.

Way to go man!! Keep ripping music like this. WE WILL ALL PRAISE YOU FOR THIS KIND OF EFFORT (assuming that a Complete no sfx Score of Transformers II will come out)!!
It’s good to know that one is out there. Here’s hoping that there is a ROTF out there too…
724921 is a different case. I (among with others) believe he wants to share, it’s just getting it out and not getting into trouble is the problem. At least, that’s what I think. Glad he’s back though
Yeah pretty much. Its fun to have things to yourself for a while.. but then you want to share. Its not the easiest thing to do depending on who you are getting them from.
Dude… I have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. My best guess is you are either mentally defective.. or or or… maybe.. just maybe.. you are the first evolution of those shakespeare typewriting monkeys?
I dont really speak jive (or any other derogatory names for it) so… thanks for the translation. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. I got a hilarious PM from the guy too.

STAY AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, CaptainJack.. chill out bro, and please please PLEASE dont give your address to people on the internet, it is weird and it could end up with you getting hurt. Just so you know… I have no intention of doing anything with your address but you might not be so lucky with other people you send it to.
Take it easy

P.S, Im setting you on ignore because I would really not like to see you embarrass yourself further. Im sorry for what happened and I consider it the end of it.
Honestly, it’s the recording companies that are the problem. I just don’t know why they wouldn’t want the scores released, it’d only bring them more promo and business.
Maybe you didn’t pay your bills
I don’t understand this. Why don’t they want their product getting out? It’s like a coke dealer not wanting to spread his business
….seriously, WTF, CaptainJackSparrow? That’s just not normal. Do you know how anonymous the internet is?–And how anonymous it should remain in a lot of situations??

Was it that?
Also.. there are bigger things to worry about at the moment

It’s not as simple as "record companies don’t want to see these scores released"… not by far. It actually has a LOT more to do with legalities involving musician royalties, publishing fees, copyrights etc. And on top of that they have to be ABSOLUTELY sure they will make bookoo profit. Businesses are not in business to produce something that might not generate profit. Period.
Take the score to the original Back To The Future film for example. The biggest reason that more of the score wasn’t released for 20+ years was due to how much they would have had to FIRST pay EACH & EVERY orchestral musician who played on the score recording. It was a phenomenal amount that each musician would have had to have been paid initially AND in subsequent royalties. Apparently this was due to one sweet contract that was written up at the time, but regardless…
The only reason we were fortunate enough to receive the wonderful 2 CD edition released in 2009 from Intrada was because of their commitment to only release an extremely limited number of copies (3,000 I think). Thus some one putting up money for the project (a producer iow) wasn’t going to financially break them.
That’s just one example, but you see it has little to nothing to do with the popular conception that records companies just don’t wanna see it released. That’s bullshit. They’re a business. If they’re sure it’ll make ’em money, they’ll produce it. BUT they have many legal hoops to jump through AND have to be certain it’ll make ’em some bank.

This exactly. Much of the time it is the musician fees that are the cause of longer albums not getting out there. Companies like Intrada can do it because limited (>5000) releases are not bound to dues (or at least not nearly as many). Big commercial releases need to well be COMMERCIAL and that means most fucktards who want to buy the POTC4 soundtrack wont want every note (those guys are also kind of creepy in their own way) and will instead be perfectly happy listening to a couple good cues (as really much of the material is re-orchestrated old stuff) and then some techno remixes.
:p (j/k)

Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but the flac version of the 2-CD set is transcoded from lossy sources, most likely the mp3 320k set. I had one of my music buddies test it and confirmed it was from a lossy source.

5m42 – Megatron In DC (3:10)
Reel # 5, cue # 42 "Megatron in DC"
Found a couple in FLAC, but none of them were true lossless; only the tracks off the retail album were true lossless.
Adobe Audition views weren’t promising for any lossless version.
Anyone have Audition screenshots of the lossless version posted here??
Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but the flac version of the 2-CD set is transcoded from lossy sources, most likely the mp3 320k set. I had one of my music buddies test it and confirmed it was from a lossy source.I don’t know if I believe Vosk; I don’t have audition but I was able to get create some spectrograms. I only chose two tracks, I can do more if you’d like. Check it out (below).
The first track (t40,CD1) is the first three images and the next (t41,CD1) is the next three images. The first image in each set is the spectrogram for the flac file, the next is the spectrogram for the mp3 version (obtained from first post in this thread), and the 3rd image in the set is the mp3 converted to flac (to test if it "adds" any details).
We can see in t40 in the spectrogram that it starts to cut off ~22kHz+, but the mp3 version (and the mp3->flac is exactly the same as the mp3) starts to cut off ~20kHz and is missing some detail (look at the 140sec mark and at 220sec when it starts to fade out). Track 41 is less obvious, but it’s still missing some.
My unprofessional conclusion, there is a true FLAC source, and the one posted (on page 3 I think) is it. However, all the sources that were used to make the compilation were not lossless, so the FLAC version doesn’t sound any better than the lossy source it came from, BUT the mp3 version is a double conversion from lossy to lossy (mp3 -> FLAC -> mp3). Therefore, I’m keeping the FLAC version!

Everyone likes something different. Clearly RotF & DotM are not your taste. That’s fine.
2 is okay.
i think the LMW&TCOPPO Trilogy album should’ve covered more from 1&3 than 2.
A piece of music that isn’t in any of the many versions of the score is the music used when Bumblebee is shooting Brawl from the back of the tow-truck while Mikaela drives it. While downloading a batch of tracks from X-Ray Dogs (who made one of the tracks used in one of the trailers) i found one of them very familiar. ???f it’s not the music used in that scene it’s pretty damn close. It’s called "Heavy Stuff" from the album "Hellhounds". Can anyone confirm this? ๐
Yes, i read that it was meant to be used there but ended up not being used. The track i mentioned, as i’ve said, if it’s not the one it is very, very close.
not quite sure about that… i have it on my PSP… so yea
but… yea… it is Doomsday Clock
The link to Disk 2 isn’t working, any chance of fixing that? Thank you.
There are other better versions of this same exact thing, I don’t see a need for a reup as the other links are still active to my knowledge. this score is easier to find then sand in a desert xD
I will have to disagree with you on that. While there are higher quality versions of the main score (with slight variations). However, your disc 2 contains a load of unused demos and such that I’ve never seen anywhere else–not the All-Spark Edition, not KaFaraqGatri’s new edition, nowhere. Now, there has been some debate as to whether those demos and unused cues are actually Transformers music, but I know for a fact that "Call to Arms" is (it was used in some radio drama that can be found on the All-Spark Edition) and "Tense Action" was as well (early on when Blackout arrives at the military base right before "SOCCENT Attack").
Your disc 2 is actually the whole reason I decided to become a member here–so, I think it would be worth it for someone to re-upload at least disc 2 for those who were late to the party.

What’s the difference between Expanded, Complete, and Recording Sessions? Can there/is there one of each for every movie? Does one include everything another has? Do they each have something different? I have a nasty completionist side that is crying out right now. Thanks in advance for the help.
