Enjoy and Please Say Thanks ๐
It worked fine for me, but I don’t have an account…
Maybe I’d do better if I hadn’t paid for an account! ๐
You edited your post… Again !
Nevermind, if you haven’t noticed: Urban Dictionary: conio (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=conio)
LoL! You misundestood, I was pointing at this forum member’s name. And I don’t mean to insult him as I think he conscientiously chose his name. This was a reply to your post before you edit it.
I’m sorry mate… I’m having one of those days… thought you were calling me one…
I only got rid of my post because I was too sleepy for an argument and I could just see pages and pages of "WTF PIRATES RULE!" and "F**K RECORD LABELS CDS IS TWO EXPEN$1V3!!!111" coming up while I was in bed… so I thought I’d keep my mouth shut. ๐
I had no idea what a Konio (or a Conio) was but many thanks for the education… I’m sure I’ll find a use for this knowledge in the future. ๐

Hey Tango Whats Up send me a PM when you get the chance ๐
Indeed. The Rising Soul is the best cue.
From Movie Score Media, I recommend I CAPTURE THE CASTLE, UNDERGROUND, GEORGE AND THE DRAGON, and THE RED CANVAS. BODYGUARD is also one hell of a score!
Yes! Red Canvas is fantastic. Some of those other ones are ok too.
I know there is nothing we can really do about illegal downloads, but if you like the score please do support it by buying your favourite track(s) from itunes: Hawk (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Stuart Hancock – Download Hawk (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/hawk-original-motion-picture/id429217345)
and liking the facebook page here: 'Hawk' – A Short Film | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Hawkthemovie) – maybe leave Stuart Hancock the composer some feedback? What is your favourite track? Hawk took us nearly 7 years from initial conception to completion and was made on a miniscule micro budget, and most of the crew worked for free.
You can watch behind the scenes making of videos – over 80 minutes of making of footage here: 'Hawk' – A Short Film – Video | Facebook (http://on.fb.me/eJ42oD)
Thanks!
Matthew Jones – Producer of Hawk.
Welcome to our… often morally ambigous, but always genuinely enthusiastic forum. I really can’t say how fantastic it is to hear about this British production – at a time when our film industry is in tatters and the movies we do make are either period dramas or about inner city street gangs… along comes what is looking like a fascinating Fantasy picture.
Of your tiny budget, undoubtedly a lot of it went on the score… Kudos for understanding the priceless role a good score plays in cinema… Music is always the first place where the budget cuts happen (you’re talking to a guy who was asked to offer a sci-fi film a couple of years back with a 60 piece orchestra… then a 30 piece orchestra… then a synthesiser with some sweetening… then a synthesiser… then the whole production went bankrupt) and usually because producers/directors think that a score functions only as musical wallpaper. Having the guts to commission a score that is first and foremost music – and to engage the services of a chap like Hancock – is a brave thing to do today… where drum loops and too-much-gain amateurish synthy power anthems reign supreme.
Thank you again, and I’m sure I speak for everybody when I say I hope you’ll stay around and talk more about your film… ๐

Agreed. And a bit of shocker; was more or less expecting the usual synthy power ballad junkness. At the same time, however, Shore’s LOTR influence can’t be denied.
