Nonetheless a great release and worthy of a purchase if for no another reason than the fact Nic Raine is attached to the project.
I’ve still yet to see this movie. Waiting for the Blu-ray
Exactly, and there are two more recordings. One is the OST conducted by Jarre himself (but with a poor sound), and other is a re-recording conducted by Tony Bremner with the Philmarnonia Orchestra of London.
That could be a long wait. Columbia’s had an HD restoration done forever, and there’s an add for the Lawrence BR on… something I have from 2007. At this point, they’re probably waiting until next year so they can do a 50th anniversary edition.
That being said… you HAVEN’T EVER seen Lawrence?! Philistine! ๐ ๐
Thanks for the share, tri2061990. I look forward to checking this out!

That’s right. For all of the classics, I like to wait for their high definition debut. I did the same with Gone With The Wind and Ben-Hur. However long it takes, I’ll wait. I also wait for movies that I haven’t seen in a while, especially my favorites. Like Pulp fiction – the last time I saw it must have been about 4 or 5 years ago. Then I decided to not watch it again until I bought the Blu-ray. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. It was like seeing it for the first time all over again.
17. Firefox [5:18]

It’s only 8 mb, and I get an error on mediafire each time I try to download it (probably a problem with one of the server they use). I managed to download the other files, I have a problem only with the last one.
thanks

What do you mean by "it’s been up and running on my computer for 2 days" ?.
I use Mediafire when I click on a link… it’s not ON all the time ?.
Have you powered off, and re-booted ?.
The link is for a directory of 8 sub-links, which whatever you are using may not be able to handle.
Best Regards

Wonderful recording!
Thank you!
I was thinking about Boosterrr’s Christmas Thread (Thread 123707) and wondering what other Christmas scores I don’t have. I searched for Jarre’s Prancer, but I guess that never existed, not even in bootleg form. Looks like track 10 here is from Prancer, so that’s nice ๐
Peejeshare and Filewinds are one and the same. They have been offline for a number of days… they may be back, they may not. Turbobit has been out for a couple of weeks, but came back yesterday. It happens.
Peejeshare tends to not keep the links active for very long these days, so as the original post is from 2011 I doubt it will be active even if Peeje does come back.
The thread creator tri2061990 may be able to re-upload, but the files add up to about 850 Mb.
I may be able to help, but it’s not at the top of my list.

Dear bishtyboshty. I must say that I like your style. Not at the top of your list, but such a quick response! It’s very much appreciated.

Use the "Reply with Quote" option, instead of "Reply".
With either option, the smiley can be selected from the bar above the input area.

I’m learning! When I click on a smiley however, this massive blank page appears on my screen, with "Insert a smiley", but there is nothing there to select. ๐

THANK YOU!!!!
I use WinRAR. Does that make any difference?
Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!

It is the way it is ripped. It has nothing to do with the way you open the file.
Thank you for the reply, bishty.
I’m happy to know it isn’t something I’m doing wrong. Is there a way to separate the continuous track into individual ones?

I believe there is, using the cue file… but I have never done it myself.
If no-one is able to help here, then try asking in the "hunt" thread.
The solution will vary depending on wether you use a Pc or a Mac or something else.

Your link from yesterday did the trick! It separated the dozen or so soundtracks that I had as one continuous track.
You’re a tremendous asset to this forum, Petros. Both with your shares and advice.

Thank you for your kind words, my friend.
I’ve been using it for 4 years and I think it’s very simple.

I’ve just downloaded it, and opened it using Rar Expander AND Unarchiver. I use a MAC too.

Everything is up-to-date and the file is 871.6 exactly ๐
The problem is clearly on your computer.
It also opens using Stuffit Expander too.
RAR Expander is version 0.8.5 (beta 4)

My mother always told me: son don’t be afraid to admit any mistake you have made. Well, it seems that I have saved the wrong password, to start with. Yes, I know, not the smartest one in town…….

Not on my computer. These things can often vary between types of computer. I try not to use sizes when dealing with problems because of this, except to give a rough idea of file size.
Sometimes when a user says the file is corrupted, it turns out they’ve only downloaded a small portion of it.
People often assume that their computer does not fail. That there are no aborted downloads… no inadequate rar expanding software… and that a password of say Orion999 is the same as orion999 or ORION999, which it isn’t.
I don’t know why file sizes vary on Pc’s. On mainframes it is often because of blocking factors and the effects of word boundaries ( a word being 4 bytes). I just know it happens.
Thanks
