Another one. Eh, I decided to make a bunch of different tiles starting with a base one (that is pointed out). Then I fuckered with the BG.

You seem to like the liquify tool. All in all your stuff is good, how long you been using Photoshop?

To be honest, I used liquify only in the first image and for the background of the tile creations.

Filters are cheap, only use them as a finishing touch, making artwork using filters makes your style easily copyable. Filters are a good way to get started, but you dont need more than the ones you are supplied.

I’ve worked with Photoshop for 3 years, I’m by no means a pro, but I’ve developed quite a few methods I use to achieve a favorable result. There’s more to PS then whoring shitty little filters. There’s a physical aspect to it ass clown. There’s depth, lighting, smudging, blending, and color usage. All shit you know nothing about.

Agreed, besides, you can achieve more beautiful natural effects, for example by making your own brushes just for the right graphic textures and moods and such. <3

Trent, you should try the Painter program from Corel. You basically have all the tools you have on your artist’s workshop, at the tip of your WACOM pad (if you have any :P).
