One problem though, now I downloaded this, it makes me want to watch it again, but my brother’s got the DVDS with him at Uni [they are his after all!] All I’m stuck with is Dogtanian 😉

Because Ulysses 31 is not available on dvd in the states…heck…anyhow i love this soundtrack i was looking for it for the past 10 years i love the track "atack of the tridents" makes me wanna put a one piece jump suit and dance.

I think there was only a French release of the music and it shows that a number of tracks were taken from the anime.

Has anyone here been following the Parallax – rescoring of the music from the anime?

It is so good from what you hear on their web site.

I have 10 of the tracks they have done, that i ripped from their web site.

According to the website’s news section the re-recording still needs a fair amount of work (7 tracks are yet to be recorded and 5 are in near completion). Therefore the record won’t be ready before next year. As for the original remaster, it’s been delayed due to the demise of the sound engineer responsible for the remastering last July. Also, only the Crockett-Egan tape was found (which fortunately accounts for 90% of the score), the Levy-Saban now being considered probably lost. 🙁

The Parallax link is working for me… and the new CD with the background music in stereo is still being sold there.

That CD is highly recommended, by the way. Miles better than the Loga-Rhytme CD as far as background music is concerned (pretty logical considering that the Loga-Rhytme release was ripped from video masters, while this new edition is from Denny Crockett’s personal master tape copies.)

I’ve the retail CD and I confirm that is a solid release for all Ulysses 31 fans.

But I’m wondering one thing: Ulysses 31 is a Japanese/French anime and WTF this thread is doing in "Video Game Music Download Links" section?
