Actually itunes wont let you create an account for their Japanese store outside of Japan (I live in the USA) I tried and it wouldn’t let me unless I had a japanese credit card and address, so I would like to know how everyone else on this board bought the EP

Honestly, I don’t see how hard it is to go to JBox.com and get an JPNiTunes card. It’s only 38 bucks for a 3000 yen card (or $22 for 1500 yen).

I know that spending that much money for something that costs 600 yen is silly, but you can easily find more stuff to buy or you can just spend the rest later.

I remember that the OST of Advent Children was released like 2 weeks after the movie. However, it was greatly anounced back then so i wonder…will there be a complete OST of Advent Children Complete?

actually there is way to get the song with out removing the drm protection by using audicity’s recording feature. I think it can work since it can record audio that is being played.
Oh and is the Safe and Sound on the album feature that gerard way guy?

Way to go overboard, i think. Were it the movie, i’d understand, but a promo soundtrack? Is it really that important and urgent you can’t wait for some other guy to do it somewhere?

It got to the point that she got too upset and pulled the whole thing offline. She’d been slowly updating her youtube channel with the tunes, but suddenly stopped a few months back.

If someone starts a petition or something for her to release the whole thing, it’s got my signature.

If anyone’s curious, i can tell you the corny music that plays when Cloud collapses next to Tifa in the church has been replaced with a (short) remake of Anxious Hearts, the highway chase music includes a remake of Crazy Motorcycle and Katayoku no Tenshi has been a bit extended to accomodate the longer fight sequence (don’t know if that’ll show in the actual OST though). Other than that, most tracks include some crisper, somewhat more elaborate arrangements, but they’re essentially the same.

As for the movie, you probably know where to get it by now.

(EDIT: Oh yeah, and they fixed the engrish by the highway entrance signboard)

iTunes doesn’t use DRM protection on music anymore, you can do a straight conversion of the m4a files to mp3.

i watched FFVII AC Complete and its awesome!
The new scenes are really adding something to the story. With FFVIIAC, there were some plot holes that they filled with AC Complete.

Some other tracks are redone aswell…most noticeable are (although i had to pay alot of attention *see minors*):
Beyond the Wasteland (instrument changes and added a new melody and fillers)
Battle in Forgotten City (instrument changes and added a new melody and fillers)

The 3 minors of FFVII AC Complete are:
Some scenes are an upscaled version of the dvd (which is rather disappointing after watching the good (rerendered 1080p) scenes

The music volume is way too low…i could barely hear one winged angel or the other tracks, because the SFX (especially the high pitched noise) is way too loud. Its a real shame because the ’emotion’ is somewhat gone when there is a fighting scene or something

If someone speaks in the back, youll think the person in the front speaks, because of the volume.
This problem consist in both Japanese and English version

Reminescence of FFVII Compilation is a resume of Compilation…talk about Before Crisis, Crisis Core, Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus.
Turbulence of FFVII AC is like a documentary showing days earler the release of the movie.

First you need to simply burn it to blank CD as an Audio CD.
Then after burning reinsert freshly burned Audio CD and use windows media player to simply rip the music from audio cd and save them as 320 kb/s mp3.
Voila, that’s how you break protection from iTunes music.

Plus not use mp3 as codification since that will be 2 compressions (the iTunes one, and another one after to re-mp3 it). EAC and FLAC are your friends !

But back to the reality: I’m also waiting for an upload by someone =[

iTunes uses only 256 bitrate aac audio, that equals 320 kb/s mp3. No point in using FLAC or EAC since the audio is already lossy anyway. FLAC is good only when you have audio in original 1411 kb/s form.

I agree with Robert Alfa. If you have the mini album and are part of this forum, please upload it! Not seperate tracks but the entire CD. It’s a mini album and shouldn’t be so hectic to upload. Whoever uploads it first will be praised by many in return. Guarenteed!

If you need a website to upload your files, I would recommend Sendspace (http://www.sendspace.com/)or Megaupload (http://www.megaupload.com/). Rapidshare has some annoying waiting times in between downloads. :p

I have the BluRay with FFXIII Demo right here and it DOES HAVE english subtitles, got it from Play-Asia.
As for getting the audio out of the CD. Like I said earlier, just put the audiocd in your comp and then use Windows Media Player ability to rip audio and convert it to mp3, use the settings to save it as 320 kb/s mp3 so that quality is nice.

I have the BluRay with FFXIII Demo right here and it DOES HAVE english subtitles, got it from Play-Asia.
As for getting the audio out of the CD. Like I said earlier, just put the audiocd in your comp and then use Windows Media Player ability to rip audio and convert it to mp3, use the settings to save it as 320 kb/s mp3 so that quality is nice.

Heres an off topic question, can anyone that has the Blu Ray make a wallpaper of the scene at the end where Cloud and Zack are standing back to back? My PS3 is the only thing I can play Blu-Ray’s on (no drive on my PC) but I really would love that.

As for ATRAC3, it’s not weird. It provides quality of 320kb/s mp3 while being in just 128kb/s. It’s a good space saver.

Two things are mixed in this tread. On the one hand, the Mini Album EP that can be obtained only through japanease download (so the format in which it’s sold, is right). On the other hand, a possible codification of the Final Fantasy XIII Trial Disc audio. There are many out there already, but if someone is going to do another one, please, do it with Exact Audio Copy (the best software you can get for that purpose, and it’s free) and do a FLAC one. I’ve seen 2 or 3 recordings of the FF XIII Trial Disc already but they are at poor mp3 quality or with short lengths…

If you can’t do a conversion, just a recording while playing it using Audacity. Recording it using 24 bits / 192 KHz, to FLAC, will offer a good temporally audio manner until the Mini-Album / EP is uploaded by someone in the future. If you can’t play it on PC, try then playing it on Playstation 3 and using the Optical Toslink connection to decode the digital audio at decent quality. If you need some help, just ask and I’ll try to give you a hand.

If you live in the USA and you do not have a credit card you could try a "Visa Gift Card" (it has to be a "visa") to buy from J-list.

or

maybe you can use a regular "Credit Card" or "Visa Gift Card" with "google checkout" if you live in the USA.

if you live outside the USA you will have to check the "TERMS" to see if "Visa Gift" or "Google Checkout" will work for you.

here’s some caution:

i’ve bought usa itunes songs and gotten my "Visa Gift" rejected because of insufficient funds (itunes overcharge’s you everytime you buy a songs.)

If you compare times (a second, each) and note that it misses the first beat of the 4/4 measure, that first cymbal crash is missing. RAR issue? Mine starts on the 2nd beat, too.

In any case, nice work. That should just require a little tweak.

thanks for getting it up. I was watching the movie on friday and the new owa sounded awesome.
One a side note: FFVII:ACC was really awesome. better than the first. It really made more since to more since then when it first came out. Except, I still don’t understand why there is a wolf in the movie. The fight scenes are alot more cooler and the final fight was like totally revamp. I still haven’t play the FF13 demo.

When I was talking about lossless, it was simply as a reference to avoid the MP3 compression if done. Generating a lossless codification even from a lossy file is just to not lose more quality when converting it to another format.

This is just a guess, but maybe they’ll release a complete ACC ost with all the new arrangements & either:

A). NOT include the songs in the Mini OST to make it more exclusive
or
B). The Mini OST was just a sample OST in disguise & the new OST will contain the "Complete" songs of ACC (No pun intended)
