God willing, Senju would return just how Oshima did.

I wonder… Senju has something of a reputation for picking his projects meticulously, whereas Oshima always seems to have something on the go. Personally, I’d be hoping for Senju to do it, but I know a lot of people would rather he didn’t. I can think of a few other names who I’d be more than happy to see involved. (Oshima, ironically, would be very nice. Along with Yoshihisa Hirano, Masamichi Amano… Naoki Sato would be interesting if there was enough money. Offbeat suggestions: Satoshi Kadokura, if he’s still working… and here’s one nobody will have thought of… Yoshihiro Kanno! Absolutely impossible of course, but that would be a hell of a score…!)

Drifting off topic, as I usually do, the rumour going around is that the theatrical film will be live action. What? Really? Oy…
