A friend of mine is a big Superman fan. I managed to get the normal soundtrack for him a couple of days before the release. So he has returned the favor.

The soundtrack popped up on a forum in the past week, soon after WarnerBros got the topic deleted… but not soon enough 🙂

I have no idea what that track is. I thought it may have been what Martha was listening to on the radio when he lands back on Earth towards the beginning, but I don’t know for sure. Are you talking about the country-western sounding track?

Just an FYI re: the 39-track CD #1…

As I’m sure many of you have noticed, all the "complete" score lists and the CD covers Sharon thoughtfully posted only list 38 tracks… rather than 39 tracks actually there.

Contrary to what many of you likely assumed, the "extra" track is NOT Track #39 — it’s actually Track #06! This track features that unnamed country-western sounding song someone mentioned earlier. I only just realized this today when I noticed that the track lengths suddenly didn’t match up properly with the listed ones.

As such, I thought those of you renaming all the tracks to their proper names might want to be aware of this — since mp3 Track #06 is the "extra unnamed" track, it throws off the entire track name listing by one track. In other words, Listed Track #06, "Homecoming," is actually mp3 Track #07… and so forth. Final listed Track #38, "Lineage," is actually mp3 Track #39.

So to recap:

Listed Tracks #01 – 05 = MP3 Tracks #01 – 05
Extra Unnamed Track = MP3 Track #06
Listed Tracks #06 – 38 = MP3 Tracks #07 – 39

Basically, just add "1" to the Track Listings from #06 on to find the correct mp3 file. And check the track length if you have any doubts…

When renaming your tracks on Disc 2, follow the listing posted by up above by KalEl1029 — it’s the correct one — rather than the CD cover. Specifically, the correct names for Tracks 18 & 19 are as follows:

18 – Reprise (3:38)
19 – Fly Away (0:43)

On the CD cover Sharon posted, the tracks have been incorrectly transposed as:

18 – Fly Away (0:43)
19 – Reprise (3:38)

Kind of a big difference in timing there…

Again, if you have any doubts, check the lengths of these tracks before renaming them.

Redownloaded again (as my old mp3 player died) – really awesome soundtrack in full. Makes you wonder why they didn’t release the full soundtrack in the shops rather than the edited ‘suites’ version that they did.
