Wiki Game Info: The Hive (video game) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hive_%28video_game%29)
UPDATE:
I am currently building a complete soundtrack for this game. The links below lead to the directories that I am actively updating with completed tracks.

Does anyone know if there was ever an official album release for the game? Something on CD?
I’m wondering if anyone has access to more complete musical tracks? Something like what we’ve seen uploaded onto youtube (YouTube – The Hive (PC / PS1) – Intro and Level 1 (audio only) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG_PpESoF9A)). I’ve read somewhere that actually the PSX version of the game had better audio compression (but lower visuals) vs the PC counterpart. Any confirmation of this?

Did you extract the audio from the PSX version or is it actually redbook audio on the disc?
I’d be glad to take over and work on the rest of the game, I just have no idea how the wave files were extracted from the .LPS files, does anyone know?
Through some batch processing, I got Hangar Bay pulled apart to compare to your work. I remember each level had "checkpoints" where the video would repeat or jump around depending on how you played, which complicates things as not all files are exactly 2 seconds (probably the end of one of the video clips). I only pulled apart the 2 second clips, joined them and it plays fairly smoothly.
When comparing my old rips I found that the first portion of the wave file is the right channel. The first two 87kb files are each their own channel and the first file is the left channel. There is at least some logic to follow (although seemingly backwards). There are other files in the 200 – 300 kb range as well. Not sure what to do with those yet, seems that have more that one portion of the audio in them.
I will post my work on a Google drive folder. The intro/ first level was easy to put together and I have uploaded a "beta" version of it. Heavy de-clicking helps with the pops, but I’ll probably need to manually de-click in my final version like those crazy vinyl rippers as you can still hear the pops after automatic de-clicking.

Thanks for your help and inspiration supahappy! I’ll take a stab at the rest and see if we can put together a nice complete version of this excellent soundtrack. It will be nice to replace the 22KHz crap posted on YouTube as well for others to enjoy.
